Once you get into the game your pride starts to get larger...and larger..and larger. and you start having to sort through your den and name all the lions/cubs/lionesses so that you remember which one they are. I think there should be categories for your den they would be little tabs at the top of all your lions (under the player infomation) that you could click (for the different ideas they would say different things) they would be different colours etc. There are two ways i can think of how it would work:

Idea 1- There would be four tabs at the top: All Pride,Adults, Adols and cubs. Once the lions/lionesses/cubs became a certain age they would automatically change to the other tab. For example say i had a cub at 11 months at rollover the next day the cub would move from the 'Cub' tab to the 'Adols' tab and once that lion got to 2 years it would move to the 'Adult' tab.

Idea 2- Players would be able to create their own tabs (at a limit of 5 or 10 tabs).The tabs would be in the same place as in the first idea but just above (or next to) the tabs there would be a small button saying 'add new tab' if you click on this button there would be a box saying Name of tab: Color of tab:(if the colors are used).There could be two other boxes where there would could have specifications for example only certain age lions or only pregnant or in heat lions etc and another box where you could choose lions to all move over into that tab at once.
