Arkose & Areni | Phi | 1 year 10 months

Arkose was still asleep when Areni awoke. Carefully, the juvenile got up from their nest and crept out of their den, letting his sister rest. His own movements were subdued and slightly fearful. He knew others were up, his ears could pick up the faint noises of voices and movements from around where their dens were. He saw nobody around, though, and made a beeline for the pile where kills were kept. He decided to take something small, a rabbit, and immediately started for a beeline to his shared den.

He placed the dead animal in front of his twin, her ear flicking gently. With her still sleeping, Areni started to do a few playful jumps around her, not making a noise. The sound of him thudding and panting around her was enough to make Arkose jerk her head up, a small snarl coming from her. "Stop it," She snarled, blinking as she woke up, "Stop jumping. You'll overheat."

At his sister being up, the other stopped, though he was left panting on his feet. Even if the air was cooler than usual, Areni and Arkose still had the problem of overheating until Autumn really set in. "I brought food," He tilted his head, knowing his sister now picked up on the scent of the rabbit.

She huffed a reply to him, getting up so she could pick at it. Areni took off yet again, this time to creep over to the healer's den. He knew there was a fight not long ago, and he wanted to see the progress and how the healer helped them.

Runt or Singer 5 months male pup
Runt woke up under a pile of leafs as he woke up he shook them off. He heard other wolfes near by he got closer to them & hid behind the buches. He got up & backed away then he howled but it sounds like he is singing.

Connie| Female|Warrior|2 Years | Single

Connie's ear twitched and she started to focus on where the song like howl was coming form. She knew she had to wait for Nova to heal her paw but something deep in her heart told her to go check it out. Sneaking away from everyone else she padded out the healers den and focused mainly on listening to the howl, using her nose to help she found a new scent it smelled like a very young wolf. It didn't take long for her to find the pup and when she did find him she gave a small smile. Not wanting to seem threatening to him she got down to his eye level "Hey there pup, why are you all alone out here?"

Rahese | Male | 4yrs 6mnths | Lead Warrior

His tail, tucked tightly along his side, wagged frantically, but his lip curled to expose his teeth. Annoyance brimmed in his chest, Kashi's chuckle irritating him all the more. Though deep down he knew Nova was far too busy with the other wolves, some of which were far more injured than him, his impatience still got the better of him. He hated to wait in this god-forsaken place, hated to wait for the bratty healer to approach and probe him with her nose and her weird herbs. Hated... well, just about everything in this current situation of his. Tension lined his form, fur bristling fiercely along his spine. His eyes darted to the entrance, the whites flashing in the dim light -- and, hesitantly, they shifted to the dark form of Nova.
Ears pressed flat, the brute watched as the healer paced throughout the den, bossing wolves around more than she seemed to be helping. The points of light upon her pelt gleamed faintly in the dim light, as if she were covered in stars -- alas, though a wolf of odd and ethereal beauty, she certainly hadn't the personality to match. She was snarky and stubborn, seeming to endlessly enjoy the fear she instilled in her fellow pack mates -- or, if they did not fear her, took even more delight in teasing them to their wits end. Rahese considered himself the latter, though deny as he might, there was something about the she-wolf that made him nervous. What it was, he didn't know -- and he would likely never know, considering he had no interest in admitting such emotions, let alone searching them.
As he lay there awaiting his impending doom, a sickeningly sweet smell slapped against his nostrils, eliciting a sneeze. It was an easily recognizable scent -- as per usual, females were coming into heat. It was still quite early, but... Rahese expelled a growl. Though he despised this part of the year, with the over powering scents and the males drooling over females when they weren't butting heads... at the very least, if some of the she-wolves were coming into estrus this early, then hopefully it would be over earlier, as well. In the clogged conditions of the den, he couldn't pin down which she-wolf it was -- but, in all honestly, he didn't really care. With a sigh, he nestled his nose between his forelegs, allowing the scent of his paws and the dirt beneath him mask the heavy aroma.

Iah Cehka | Female | 4yrs 3mnths | Beta Female

Iah Cehka was so absorbed in her work that she failed to notice the approach of the beta male, Disdain, until he was at her side. Giving a start as his voice resounded in her ear, her head swung up to meet his, fur bristling in the remnants of her alarm. "Quite restless," she accepted, shaking off the sudden onset of anxiety. "Several wolves are injured, and others busy nursing them. Somebody has to look after this place." The female watched as her fellow beta padded toward the den, expression twisting wryly as he recommended that she get some sleep. Not bothering to answer, she turned away, getting back to work. As tired as she may get, if they were attacked now, they would be helpless. The least she could do was miss some sleep and provide them with some kind of warning, if needed.

Runt or Singer male 5 months pup
Runt my mother abandon me she said she could not stand the whole pack shunning her. My dad said he was just going to thow me down a hole or crush my skull if she did not get rid of me. Plus my dad didn't want any boys because he didn't want to be over thrown and he thinks i have sum kind of powers when I'm older. I'm sorry! He said as he howled like he was singing but with worry. he bolted into the woods not knowing if connie would follow.

Nova | 4 Years, 6 Months | Female Healer

Looking around Nova saw that both Serkahri and Makeera were fast asleep, a good sign that they were on the mend. Nova had not needed to apply honey to Serkahri’s wounds because they were on the shallow side. Looking around Nova noticed that Raven had left...she had a few scratches but they would not have required any herbal attention... though if Raven had not cleaned her wounds before she had left that could lead to an infection. Nova looked around for more wounded wolves, she could not worry about Raven now, she had many more wolves in need of medical attention. She noticed that the only ones she had to look at where Connie, Kashi and Rahese. As much as Nova wanted to attend to Kashi first it was impossible because of the very fact that Kashi’s wound was the most serious.

Suddenly Ro gave a small warning croak a signal that someone had entered the herbal storage room, turning Nova saw Kashi looking at some Turqo Moss. Nova felt a flash of irritation and anger and worry...Kashi must have seen that the healer had given Angel some Sweet Grass for her pain and had decided to look for something for herself. The only problem was that Sweet Grass and Turqo Moss looked a lot alike, luckily Turqo Moss and Sweet Grass had a lot of similar properties the only difference was that instead of giving a wolf a good and pleasant nights sleep, Turqo often kept wolves up at night which was good for a health problem where sleep was dangerous, not so good for a wolf who was seriously injured with a possible broken rib bone.It took years of studying plants to tell the difference and it continually annoyed Nova that wolves with some training in herbs did not understand how dangerous it was to grab a herb off the shelf.Could they not ask if it was okay to take one?

Stepping forward, about to stop the wounded wolf Nova hesitated...she had other wolves to attend to and perhaps it was better to let Kashi find out the consequences of grabbing a herb without asking about it first if she decided to take some. Shaking her head Nova turned her attention to Connie...who had just decided to leave, probably investigating the small song like howl echoing faintly in the night. Suddenly Nova realized that so much time had passed that it was, in fact, very early morning, sighing Nova turned and walked toward Rahese noticing his gaze was directed at the door. “Hello Rahese”, she said quietly while she looked closely at the uncleaned wound on his side. Nova kept her voice cool almost cold though inside she felt concern well up inside her, along with a strange warmth in her chest that always seemed to appear when Rahese was around. Nova had tried to get rid of the strange and almost unnerving feeling she had for the grumpy wolf, but she had never been able to and it was one of the very few things that scared her... because the feeling was a lot like that her former “mate” had imposed on her with his mesmerist power.

Nova hoped that her concern did not show in her eyes...the only defense she had against the feeling was her reputation and her teasing jokes that annoyed the lead warrior so much. Gently Nova felt Rahese’s wound with the tip of her nose which hit a patch of dead fur...a flash of what Rahese had experienced that day played vividly through Nova’s mind with undercurrents of his emotions flowing with them. Some fainter memories ran through Nova’s mind but she quickly turned down her power...she should not intrude on his memories if they did not include information on how his wound was gotten and what it had gone through until now. Internally shaking off her thoughts Nova looked at the huge wolf ironically… “Since you don’t seem to be able to wash your wound by yourself it looks like I will have to help you with it.” She said with barely concealed ironic humor knowing that her comment would horrify the lead warrior.

Connie was utterly shocked at what she had heard. It took her a few minutes to register the pup had left running.Worried or his well being she quickly sniffed the air to pick up his scent. Not caring for her own injury of her scrapped paw and ran after Runt at full speed.

Yelping as Duke landed on her the condensed air disappeared as she whimpered and withered in pain. She ignored what he was saying as she began to cough and wheeze, finding it hard to breath. After a moment her vison stopped spinning and faded out as she passed out in her spot next to Rahese. Paws and muzzle stained pink from her coughing fit, the wolf had small drops of blood slipping down her muzzle. Kiba wouldn't like this if he found out it would be Duke's head.
Luckily the male was across camp. Still crouched the male launched himself at the night colored female, rolling her over and giving her a lick and nuzzle to the cheek. Jumping away from her he dashed away into the woods calling out "Ketch me if you can!" He ran dodging trees and leading his intended female to a beautiful seen. Just out of the reach of camp sat a lake and for this time of nigh with such a clear sky, it would make a perfect view. Kiba stood just in front of the lake moon shine dancing along his silver fur. His tail wagged and he held a simple blue flower in his maw.

Duke saw kashi never followed so he raced back to see her passed out. " oh come on I'm not that fat wait am I" he said and dragged her to his den. The male awaited her to wake up to apologise and ask her.

Duke is sure giving Kashi a beating..not on purpose but that won't matter to Nova..she will be PISSED....XD

Rahese | Male | 4yrs 6mnths | Lead Warrior

The brute's golden gaze, growing cloudy with sleep, lazily followed the progress of the medicine wolf, observing as she surveyed the den for the injured wolves she would treat next. Figuring he would be last in line, Rahese remained in a semi-relaxed state, though his posture remained stiff, and his ears still folded away from his face. Before, he had recognized that Connie had left, for whatever reason. Perhaps she had gotten the splinter out, or perhaps not -- either way, she had rejected her visit with the healer in favour of investigating an odd, high-pitched howl emitting from the outside of camp. It didn't matter to him -- though if she was still inhibited by the splinter, he would definitely scold her later.
Under the impression that Kashi was still in line before him, he was in for an unpleasant surprise as Nova's cold voice met his ears -- far too close for comfort. Eyes flying open, he was shocked to find the female standing before him, gazing down in her typical, condescending fashion. Or at least, that's how he often saw it, anyway. Instantly, his guard flew up, his shocked eyes narrowing to irritated slits. A growl rolled quietly in his throat as she advanced even closer, escalating quickly into a whining snarl as her nose angled toward his side. Any proximity to Nova was too close for him, but this was just far too much. His body flinched harshly as she made contact, body becoming impossibly stiff even as she gently examined him. Though he did not move, his muzzle wrinkled dangerously as his lip drew back, exposing his canines. Heart beating rapidly, another whine slid from his throat, deepening into an angry growl soon afterwards.
As the she-wolf pulled back, he quieted a bit, though his muzzle continued to wrinkle. At her comment, however -- tease or not -- the brute surged to his paws, tail batting furiously against the wall of the den. "I don't think so," he snapped, at last displaying fearless aggression. "I don't need your help at all, whether it be with cleaning, or with this wound in general. It's a flesh wound, a mere scratch," Neck arching, he held his head high, displaying his dominance despite Nova's higher social standing. Adrenaline pumping through his system, Rahese's wound merely stung even as he agitated it, tearing the freshly-healed skin and opening the wound once again to the air. Blood, which had stopped only a short while before, began to ooze lazily once again, pooling and clumping the fur along his side. In his heightened state, it affected him little, and if it did, it only served to tick him off more.
Ears pinned back, the only thing that stopped the male's furious rant was the sudden violence that erupted from Kashi. Anger dissolving into alarm, Rahese dropped the attitude and quickly spun to face the female next to him, watching as she coughed and wheezed -- and passed out at his side, the pink foam of bloody saliva sprinkling her paws and muzzle. Barking in alarm, he dipped his head to check her vitals, breathing, anything -- before he was forced back as Duke muscled his way back into the den, having been the instigator of her sudden down turn. Shooting a bewildered look Nova's way, the warrior promptly burst into action, whirling and surging after the delta. A harsh snarl marring his visage as he locked gazes with Duke.
"What in the name of... of... I don't know, but what do you think you were doing?!" he snapped, voice rasping into an angry roar. "Kashi is severely injured! You leave that wolf be right now."

(Oh look. Rahese is pissed, too. Imagine that. xD)

(Changed some things in the post so it fits Nova sees Kashi looking at some herbs and thinks that she might be thinking of taking some. Same basic post...makes more sense now though)

Once and a while I skim through posts and miss things I've done it once on another rp I'm doing...the best deterrent is other wolves reactions. Nova will be mad that Duke is dragging Kashi around...almost violent mad..she does not like wolves who don't think before acting and it looks like Duke is doing that right now. Angel if that was not your intent you might want to change your post...
