Areni | Female | 1 year 10 months | Phi

Areni's ears pricked up when he heard a small howl. It sounded young, but he quickly decided to ignore it in favor of continuing to spy on the comings and goings in the medicine wolf's den. So far, he had a good idea of who everyone was-- he and his sister were new arrivals, but that was no excuse to not try to familiarize himself with the elder members of the pack.

His eyes darted to the herbs as he slowly crept closer to the entrance, flinching back whenever he saw movement. He was a stark white against the earthy browns of the den's entrance, but somehow, he managed to stay unnoticed. One of the wolves-- a female with a star-like pattern on her back, seemed to be the healer. Looks like Arkose was correct with that information.

The bustle going on did seem to probably help him more than hinder, honestly. He gave a curious tilt of his head, his eyes darting around to whoever was speaking. One of them didn't want any help, it seemed. Areni was confused, the wound didn't look that serious, but he still needed rest.

He ears flew back when the injured one started yelling, the young male trying to flatten himself on the ground. Interesting, but just a little scary. Perhaps he should move back before he got caught in a new fight, but it didn't seem like the injured one would be picking a fight.

Arkose | Female | 1 year 10 months | Phi

With Areni gone and the meal he had brought her gone, Arkose licked her lips. She stepped out of her lair after cleaning the bones the best she could. She knew Areni would love to have them, as small as they were, in his trash collection. Arkose lifted her head to take a whiff of the air. Curious, all these new scents.

She decided to keep looking around the area, to know who was here and who she shouldn't anger. The majority of the sound she heard was coming from where she saw Areni go, but there was one noise she was a little curious to. It sounded like a howl- and one from a young wolf too. She was a bit late, but she decided to slowly trod her way towards it.

This whole broken rib and bleeding mouth is a challenge basically me between a rock and a hard wall...I think I have figured out a way that Nova will be able you save Kashi without apposable thumbs, though it is quite graphic...What exactly are the rules for bloody-violent surgery type things? Herbs can not magically realign a rib and seal punctures in the lung...and we don't have any wolves that can move things with their minds. Igg I'm getting a little queasy thinking about it. :0 ;)

Nova | 4 Years, 6 Months | Female Healer

Nova felt the fur on her back rise as Rahese reacted aggressively to her attention and suggestion, she was about to jump at him for taking the dominant position when she felt a small pinch on her ear. Ro had landed softly on her skull while she was checking over Rahese and was warning her that her unusually strong emotions had kicked in once again.Ro had been trained to pinch her ear whenever she was about to react to something violently...this was a precaution so that Nova would stop and think about what she was doing before she acted, which saved her from making a lot of stupid diessions when she had been new to pack life.. Nova had been dealing with her strong emotions for a few years now and they were now mostly under control...mostly.

Stopping Nova took a deep breath and let it out in a deep huff, she slowly lifted her tail in a dominant position and raised her head looking the Lead Warrior directly in the eyes. Though she was nowhere near as tall as Rahese and was actually quite small she was not afraid of him...while he had brute strength and size, Nova was amazingly fast, had sharpened claws and nights and nights of training...training he had no idea she went over each night. Out of all of the wolves in the pack Rahese was probably the only one who could match Nova in experience and fighting technique...if it came to a fight the results would not tipp greatly over to Nova’s side as it would have with any other wolf in the pack.

Shaking her head Nova looked at Rahese and matched his behavior, growling violently. “Stupid squirrel head I’m trying to help, you big oaf. There is no need to get violent though if you're feeling quarrelsome I’ll be happy to knock some sense into that thick head of yours.” The specks on Nova’s pelt were flashing brightly in response to her turbulent emotions. “ That wound of yours has been bleeding all day! That could mean that there is still something stuck inside of it! Do you really want a cougar claw stuck in your side for the rest of your pathetic narrow-minded life? Sit down and let me look at it...you act as if I’m trying to take your manhood, you small-minded, cross-eyed flea bitten….!!

Nova was stopped mid sentence in her tirade when Duke bowled Kashi over playfully then walking out calling for her to follow...only to return in puzzlement. Kashi was knocked out, bright red blood oozing out of her mouth staining her white pelt a pink. “AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRGGGGGGGGGG”, Nova let out a ear shattering half growling half howling sound of pure frustration and anger, the big sound shock inducing coming from such a small wolf. “GET OUT BEFORE YOU DO ANYMORE HARM!” Nova growled loudly at Duke while standing shoulder to shoulder with Rahese as the tension dissipated between them when faced with this new and surprising threat. Nova met Rahese’s bewildered gaze with her own mysterious blue gaze...she did not know why Duke had bowled Kashi over but she did know it had not been with the intent to hurt..not that it mattered now. Seeing the alarm and bewilderment in Rahese’s eyes...he was looking for a solution to the unexpected situation and Nova was surprised that he had looked to her for help when handling the situation. That told Nova that Rahese...probably unknowingly...trusted her to an certain extent when she had thought that he just plain hated her guts. Which he did, but apparently he also trusted her guts and Nova did not know how to react to that revelation so she lowered head and studied Kashi’s side…

“Can you get him out of here Rahese and come back once you do, I will need your size and strength if I am to save her. Before, I think Kashi only had a fractured rib, but that tackle broke it clear through. A fractured rib is bad enough and could be fatal, a broken rib...a broken rib with a wolf is not good especially since she is coughing blood it means the lung is punctured. My only chance of saving her is something I once saw my mentor do...it is not pretty. Nova bent her head and grabbed hold of the edge of the hide and moss bedding Kashi lay on, slowly dragging it to the emergency cavern. She willed that Rahese would hurry and help, this was one of the times she wished a male healer was around. She was small and, as a result, not very strong...and both dragging the bedding and the surgery she was about to attempt needed strength.

(Hmm, for the bloody scenes (didn't we have one at the challenge?), I don't think it really needs to be censored, Lioden IS 16+. Do you mean gory as in like the March Event? I think people were able to deal with it. So I think they'll be able to deal with this, espesially if they're adults. (Yes, I'm aware some people are 16 or 17 here, but most of us are over 18, from what I've seen. I'm 21, I can deal with it.)

Serkahri//2 yrs 7 months//Unranked (Will either be Omega or Hunter, depending on who wins the challenge once both were healed)

Suddenly, a sweet smell hit Serkahri's nose. In his dream, he thought he was smelling the sweet dew. He walked over to it in his dream, lapping it up. However, he was also sleepwalking and lapping up the sticky honey in the waking world. He was really smelling Makeera's heat, but he was indifferent to it.

Makeera//Female//3 yrs 1 month//Alpha female

Makeera awoke from the noise, and walked in between Nova, Duke, and Kashi. Glaring at Duke and snarling, she pushed him away. "Don't even DARE to touch patients who still need to be healed! See what you've done? You make her wound bleed even more! Not to mention, Nova is a higher ranked wolf than you, you do what she tells you to do. Got that?" she growled loudly. "Why are you so close to the females at this time? If it's for a mate, then you should try to get one when they're not wounded." she then said, her voice slightly softening. Sighing, she then said to Nova, "Nova, if these wolves disobey you, no matter their rank, you have every right to force them to let you heal them. If they still disobey, call me in. I may be wounded still, but I am on the mend, and still empower others." Her head then turned to the herbs, but she saw Serkahri lapping up the honey. "Nova.... one of your wolves it eating your honey..." she said, slightly afraid, since even though she paid no attention to the rumors about her, which were probably true but for a good reason, and was a higher rnak, know how angry Nova got about those types of things. She then walked back to her bed, falling asleep once more.

Waking up to the sound of barking in the medicine den he got up and left the den to see if Nova needed any help. Iah was still patrolling around camp which worried him, maybe he should volenter to patrol so maybe she can a least doze. Padding to the medicine den he saw Nova about to preform surgery on Kashi who had damaged their rib. " Hey, Nova you need any help?"

Kaito | Male | 3 Years | Alpha Male

Kaito then walks out of the forest and see's the camp "i wonder what happened here when i was gone..." Kaito says to himself searching for his mate. Kaito then follows the scent of Makeera he then walks over to him mate and licks Makeera's cheek "you ok Makeera?" Kaito says to his mate as he sits down and looks around the camp once more some things has changed.

Makeera looked back at her mate, waking up. "Ah, yes, I got into a fight with a cougar yesterday. Nova's helping to heal the injured wolves." She calmly informed him. "Luckily, I cleaned my wounds as Nova told me to, so that they don't get infected. And... I think I may need help if some unwanted male wolves attempt to approach me, I'm in heat if you didn't notice." she added in as well. Carefully, she managed to stroke some of the icicles sprouting from her neck. "And... I got my power recently." she said as well, sitting up.

Kaito sniffs the air "yes i assumed so but are you willing to have pups this season?" Kaito says as he looks at Makeera's neck "and yes i can see" Kaito then says as he sits down whil his ear twitches as the wind blows on his large fur. Kaito yawns then looks back at Makaeera "did any male come to you or anything yet?" Kaito says to his mate as he was protective about her.

"Well, yes, but not without your consent, of course." Makeera replied, tilting her head. "So far, not yet, but seeing as two males are already fighting over two females, I feel it won't be long before they start to do so." she added in, inching closer to the furry male, whom she had chosen as her own mate and alpha. "Though if males do start to approach me, you'll help me fend them off, right?" she asked as well, slightly nervous. Even as an alpha, it would be impossible for a female to fend off multiple males at a time, espesially if they weren't willing to give up. She was always able to look up to Kaito, her superior.

"Alright, I will. After all, you are my superior, both in power and in gender." Makeera replied, licking his cheek as well. "Yep, I know, hopefully that doesn't happen, otherwise they'd probably become a permanent resident in Novas den." Makeera chuckled. "And yes, I believe Angel is going to give birth to pups sometime tomorrow. Their father will be... Serkahri." she added in, growling when she said the name "Serkahri" as if it were poison.
