Makeera noticed this graphic surgery, espesially when Nova had opened the wolf's side. "That is pretty gory..." she said to herself. She knew that Nova hadn't given her any numbing herbs, so it probably hurt very badly. Makeera was grateful that she only had some cougar scratches, which had healed for now. She was going to go back to the alphas' den, but wanted to watch the surgery. She had only heard of it happening once, but never actually saw it. She knew she wouldn't become a healer, but was interested in the art of healing. Maybe if her and Kaito did indeed have pups, and they would like to be a healer, maybe she could encourage it onto them. It would seem nice, to help wolves in need. It would indeed.

Kashi/ Female/ Unranked
After the soft plea left the females muzzle, Kashi felt a soft warm feeling against her crown. it soothed her worries a small bite and her frantic panic settled entirely when the warmth spread to her hole body. The feeling only lasted a moment when the worst pain ripped into her side. Kashi's eyes shot open and she ringed around in Rahese grip. Once white fur transformed into a red sticky mess as Nova began her extensive work. Scared out of her mind the wolf could just make out the forms of the two wolves around her and a strange sound. It was like a wolf was sharpening its claws along the den walls while howling out of tune. It was only when Nova began to speak that, Kashi realized it was her making that offal sound. When she did the wolf clamped her jaws down on the nearest clump of bedding, nearly catching hold of the paw of Rahese in the process.

Kiba/ Male/ Warrior
The feeling that Kiba woke to was indescribable, he was curled around Raven silver fur mixing with dark strands of the she wolf. His head rested softly on the back of her neck just as his tail lapped over his mate's. Behind them the pond glistened in the early morning light and the forest was singing its morning song. Kiba's chest rumbled with pride, 'his mate' the thought was almost as satisfying as the moment she had said yes to him. It was a very distant second.
Gently lifting himself from her form he made sure not to wake the sleeping female. a quick and thorough sweep of the area determined it was safe to step away for a moment. he took a drink from the pond before nearly prancing out of the small clearing. He was ridding on a high a he snagged a plump rabbit from its borrow. Trotting back to his mate the male waited,-catch in mouth- for Raven to stir.
Living in the moment the Male twin never once felt the tingling feeling of his little snow white struggling to do the same.

Raven/Female\Headhuntress
She couldn't help stiring when Kiba's warmth left her, the light of the slowly rising sun streamed through her eyelida and caused her to sleepily open her eyes, and lift her head. Looking up at Kiba she smiled, " Good morning," She got up and went over to sit by him, the silver and black fur mixing. The moon and shadows greeting each other. She looked down at the rabit and the sent reached up and tickled her nose. " Thank you for breakfast," She smiled up at him.

Tundra//Male//Pup//0 Months

Tundra tried to crawl out of the grip from Angel to explore the new surroundings. All of this was entirely new to him, and it was espesially cold as he managed to wriggle out of the den about an hour later. He was newborn, but knew how to move himself by wriggling on the soft floor. There were other animals surrounding him, though he didn't know they were his packmates. He immediately wanted to go back to the warm den, so he wriggled once again to get inside, utterly exhaused halfway back to Angel. He had stopped near Kaito's paws.

Though his tail thumped frantically upon the cavern floor, the brute offered a solemn nod as Nova explained that whatever she was about to do would not be pleasant. He was hardly surprised, but his ears pressed even closer to his skull, laying near flat against his furry head as the healer moved to Kashi's other side. What can she even do? he silently questioned, golden gaze drifting down to peer morosely at the female's dented side. A broken rib -- or a broken bone in general -- was the kind of injury that ruined a wolf, even killed them -- herbs and bandages could do little in the face of such grievous physical trauma, and he had no clue what Nova could do that was any different.
He soon found out, however, body jerking in alarm as the black female slashed open Kashi's side without mercy. The only thing that kept him from tackling the healer were her previous words -- that it would be violent, but it would save her. Looking at it now, he could see no benefit to exposing the poor wolf's innards to the open air, but he had no choice but to believe her -- especially now. Even if he intervened, he could do nothing to save Kashi with her in this state -- sure, he could neutralize Nova, but then what? Watch as a pack mate's blood stained the floors of the medicine den? He didn't think so.
So Rahese watched quietly as the healer did her thing, panting anxiously as he watched the blood stain white fur red. "Isn't she bleeding too much?" he hesitated to ask, but ended up doing it anyway. Surely no wolf could live, with their life dripping along the cavern floor. He winced as Kashi thrashed violently, giving a start as her eyes flew open, clouded with immeasurable agony. As her jaw nearly clamped upon his paw, he shifted, turning his body until his chest pressed against the female's back. Ever so carefully, the wolf extended his legs, laying them gently but firmly first across her neck, to keep her head still, and just before the curve of her hind legs, to keep her rear still, as well. Though loathe to do it, he knew that if Kashi wriggled too much, she would both hurt herself and hinder Nova's careful work, and he wasn't about to let anything worsen the situation.
Uncomfortable with his muzzle hanging so close to the gaping wound, Rahese turned his head, ducking it to rest along his elbow. As Nova spoke to him, however, he immediately jerked it up again -- the whites of his eyes peeking from the sides as he offered an alarmed stare. "Do... what?" he asked, voice working as sluggishly as his mind as he attempted to register what she had requested of him. Shaking his head, his maw parted, ready to respond with a refusal, excuse, objection -- anything -- but it quickly snapped shut. This was not the time for hesitation -- not with a pack mate on the line -- and certainly not a time to test Nova, by the look of her. His teeth grit anxiously, but he forced his eyes back to Kashi's open side -- and the ghostly line of her broken rib, snapped and tilting into the darkness within her chest. A bellowing whine heaved from his throat.
Lunging forward, the male sunk his muzzle into the wound, maw parting. Though the last thing he wanted to do was look at what he was doing, he had no choice as he carefully clamped his teeth around the bone, choking against the coppery taste that met his tongue. As carefully as he could, he pulled upward, meeting resistance for a moment. Forcing more strength into the pull, a visceral squelch declared the rib's freedom, the bone retreating from whatever it had punctured. Carefully moving it back into place, he held it there, hoping Nova had enough room to do whatever she had to do. He pressed more strength into Kashi's pin, as well -- she was doing well, but no wolf could deal with this kind of pain and maintain their composure. Rahese was assured his hold was secure, however -- it was a pin he had held many wolves in, big and small, and getting out of it was no easy maneuver. Either way, he hoped that Nova would be quick.

Surgery Warning...no problem Hetchi I love a challenge! ;)

Nova | 4 Years, 6 Months | Female Healer

Springing beside Rahese the moment he got the rib back into place Nova quickly put some Black Weed on it the strong sticky substance holding the rib in place with ease. The experienced healer then turned her attention to the punctured lung which was bleeding profoundly, smearing some Clera on it to slow down the extensive bleeding Nova gave a sharp urgent bark. This was the most dangerous part of the surgery and the part that Nova dreaded the most since she could do little and could only hope that she had trained Ro well enough to stitch the grievous wound. Alerted by the starry hided wolf’s call Ro hopped forward several pieces of sharpened almost circular shaped splinters of bone clamped tightly in his beak. The magpie hopped up onto the wounded wolf and put some of the splinters aside holding only one in his beak. Moving quickly and with surprising agility and aim Ro slid the splinter through one side of the punctured lung and into the other side the splinter holding the two pieces of flesh close together. The intelligent bird continued to do this until the wound in the lung was fully pressed together. Nova nudged Rahese with her shoulder indicating that he should let go, once he had Nova gently pulled the flaps of skin back into place and once again Ro started to pierce the edges of the skin together until the wound was firmly held together.

Letting out a sigh of relief Nova then smeared the fresh honey Serkahri had collected onto Kashi’s wound adding some potent Sleep Berry Mush as well before placing a long strip of moss over the wound. The Sleep Berry was a fast acting herb and would numb the wound and quickly induce a deep healing sleep on the wolf it had been applied to. Exhausted Nova stepped back from the now healing wolf knowing that there was little more she could do except let the wolf sleep peacefully. Nodding her head respectfully towards Rahese Nova quickly left the healing den plunging it in darkness as her star speckled coat’s light was blocked by yet another flap of moss.

Nova was eager to get away from the many wolves and practice her fighting skills. Usually the onyx wolf practiced them in the pitch black of night but it was now morning and despite her exhaustion Nova refused to miss even a single lesson. Padding into the dense woods Nova found her secret clearing ringed by huge boulders, one had to climb in order to descend within. Hopping up onto one bolder then another with practiced ease and agility Nova then descended into the clearing and started to practice her fighting skills for an hour until she literally dropped from exhaustion. Curling up against the bottom of a pine tree, its beautiful scent filling her nostrils Nova soon fell into a deep sleep. If one of the wolves from the camp had followed the mysterious,grumpy,stubborn and sometimes humorous onyx wolf,they would have been shocked as they were reminded how very small Nova was in stature, only a paws length taller than a coyote. Nova’s very personality seemed to make the wolves around her forget that important fact...if she had been born with less raw personality Nova would likely have been relegated to omega the moment she stepped into a pack. No one would make that grave mistake once they met the interesting and dangerous little wolf.

Rahese | Male | 4yrs 6mnths | Lead Warrior

Once the surgery was over, Rahese found himself abruptly abandoned within the healer's den, seated next to the unconscious Kashi. Nova had all but ran from the den, and even as he poked his head through the moss at the entrance, it appeared as though she had left the clearing altogether. A nervous growl catching in his throat, the male glanced at the recuperating female before emerging into the camp. As much as he would like to stay, the scent of coppery blood clogged his nostrils, and it certainly wouldn't go away if he hung around. She was merely sleeping, anyway, and would be fine by herself for a while.
Suddenly, something occurred to him -- something that had been nagging at the back of his mind during the entire procedure; where was Kiba? The large male, seemingly ever present by his sister's side, had been absent throughout the night. It was odd, to say the least, to see a wolf so dedicated to his sister, and then not show up on her potential deathbed. As soon as the realization settled with him, he quickly became furious -- he would give the male a chewing through, if given the chance. Still, as angry as he was, he only made it a few paw steps before exhaustion and pain slammed against his body like a massive bear paw, draining his energy. A weak growl rose in his throat. The hunt for Kiba -- or anything, for that matter -- would have to wait for at least a little bit. Staggering limply to the fringe of the clearing, the brute flopped against the dirt, whining softly as his injury throbbed. Almost as soon as he hit the ground, however, he dropped off into sleep -- pain not quite forgotten, but certainly put aside.

Arkose + Areni | Phi | 1 year 10 months

Arkose stopped worrying a bone when she noticed Areni scuttling back to their den. She tilted her head, wondering why her brother immediately went to the back of the den. "Spying on the medicine wolf again?" She asked, trying to see if it was probably the most obvious answer.

"Yes?" Areni looked up, "How... do you know?"

"You practically live there, but somehow haven't become an apprentice. Your personality too much?" She cackled, giving her bone a few bites.

"I... they haven't noticed me! Yet. I think they're busy, they cut open a wolf just a little while ago!" Areni chimed in, straightening himself up.

Arkose huffed in response, and Areni went back to his collections after seeing his sister was not interested in talk.

Angel was currently tired from having pups but she was now wide awake when she saw both. The female groomed both of them " I just hope they will live and stay in the pack" she mumbled. She looked at the White furred male and bring him close to her away from the other male.

Tundra and Serkahri:

Tundra got into carrying position, but didn't understand why he was being carried away. He couldn't really speak that well, but did know how due to his listening of other wolves speaking, thus learning from them. "Mother? Father? What is happening?" he squeaked. This was his first phrase. "And the white one can already speak! Well, what shall we name him? And what about the other one?" Serkahri asked. He told the white pup, "This is a dangerous world... we already have to protect you." He knew he had to at least help in some way, espesially if there were packmates that disliked the pups more than they disliked him. Like the alphas.

Bascules/ Gamma/ 9 year Male/ Nickname Bass

Shocked was the only way to describe the feeling the elder male had as he stepped back into camp. Every member of the pack was divided. There was a hostility in the air with no scenes of harmony. Bascules had only took a small trip to visit the resting place of his mate and he had come back to find no scent of the alphas around the border, no warriors patrolling. His fur bristled when the metallic scent of blood wafted from the healers den. Pups he had trained from birth were slacking off. Granted the pack was growing and seemed to be thriving, it was just so lost to begin with. The gamma had past to star-y eyed wolves on the way in, a seemingly over worked Nova and injured Rahese. Greying fur swayed as Bass fallowed his keen noise to the resting alphas. bowing his head in greeting and chuckling as a pup wiggled its way back into its mothers side, he addressed Makeera. "I'm gone for one turn of the season and you loss a stability of the pack." Sitting before the female he let his eyes rest on all the injured, feeling ashamed for leaving the young pack without guidance for his own selfish grief. when his eyes landed back on the three before him he softened his steel colored eyes. "I bring news of some troubling events. The tides are turning away from our favor." His voice pleaded understanding and Bascules shivered at the memory of his journey.


Kiba/ Warrior/ male
Offering a soft grin, one only Kashi had seen Kiba nudged the rabbit closer to his mate. "Its not much but its all I could find... and I did not want to be gone in case you woke without me here." Laying down, feeling the wet ground tickle his belly the wolf stretched out. "when you finish we can return to camp, I wish to share the good news, if you don't mind that is?" What he really wanted was to share with his sister. Had he done as his father had taught him he would have, asked Kashi permission to secure his future. Being the younger twin meant he was the knight and Kashi was the princess. Their father put a lot on tradition and that made it Kiba's responsibility to be all he could be for Kashi. Ears dropping to lay against his head the wolf continued to ponder his situation. on one paw he needed to make sure his little Snow White was well cared for, and on the other paw he wanted to give Raven the moon. so much was going on in his brain and it all seemed to crash down on him now.

Kashi/ Female/ Unranked
Kashi, through all her pain could make out Nova's words. Bracing for the pain and silently thanking Rahese for his death grip on her body, the female felt every small movement of the healer and magpie. Once all was said and done Kashi was utterly exhausted and thankful for all the tedious work. Just as Rahese left her side taking his warmth and comfort with him, Kashi released her grip on the bedding "Thank you...." she whispered closing her eyes. Though she wasn't fully asleep, the blood stained wolf promised those who had saved her life, that she would fight the rest on her own. Drugs taking effect the female feel under into a restful sleep.

"I know... and as an alpha, if I can't find a way to fix it, it may call for a challenge for my position. Though if there isn't a way for me to fix it, I don't know if anyone else knows how." Makeera replied solemly to the gamma, bowing her head although she was a higher rank. "I have no idea how it happened, though well, it started taking a turn when Serkahri became an omega and started breaking rules, and challenging another hunter a few days later, when she had a fractured rib. Which Nova fixed, thank goodness." she added in, sighing. "Among other things." she said as well, solemly.
