Rainar|female|Beta|Setting Suns Pack she stood her head held high, her face black once more, she looked everyone directly in the eye, then she turned and left with a lithe grace that few wolves had. It was a warriors move, an assassins move. She dipped her head to the fallen warrior, that she was sure wasn't going to be warrior for long, and then walked past him. She walked past Kiba Ravens mate, dipping her head to him as well. then as she passed she whispered,"Keep my sister safe and happy or I will kill you," she smiled then walked after her Alpha keeping behind her out of respect. and submission, but she held her self high, she was a respected dangerous she wolf after all. Rainar almost towered over her alpha but Daphene gave off vibes that made her larger and more dangerous then everyone else, the way she held herself, the quiet danger that was held carefully beneath a calm surface. Rainar was loyal to he core, and had the highest respect for her. Raven|Female|Headhuntress|Falling embers She stood watching Kiba leave at the Gammas request, she earned to follow him, but she held back, and waited for him to be done. She watched the small alpha leave with her sister, the calm surface breaking for a moment, and lashed out. Daphene. Raven could feel her respect for the alpha growing, and this troubled her, she was supposed to be loyal to Makeera, but as time went by she could feel her loyalty slipping and redirecting. She could see it with Kiba too, he could have broken that wide apart, but he held back, almost unsure. She knew that if the packs fought she would have to choose sides, she didn't know yet who she would choose. Her loyalties were being split, and she didn't know who to feed. Her sister and the strong female presence in the pack, or the wolf who brought her in and taught her how to love others. she frowned outwardly as Rainar whispered something to Kiba with a smile, "What was that about?" she wondered, she felt a small pull to go with them, but she stayed put and sat down waiting for Kiba to return. 0 players like this post! Calyx | 2 Month | Male pup Calyx was elated when one of the older wolves decided the pups should be taken inside...he was about to follow, safely invisible except for his Lavender eyes when Belle managed to wriggle out of the older females, Kashi’s?, grasp. Hesitant knowing the danger of getting to close to his father, Calyx took a step towards the den watching Belles blind dash, where she bumped into the healer, Nova. Calyx’s eyes widened in horror...the healer was a mystery to him and that was not elevated by the creepy bird that always seemed to be near whenever she was around. It was even worse when Belle evidently recovered from her bump with the healer...went up to the dangerous looking warrior Calyx had noticed earlier...and clamped down on his tail. Spurred into action Calyx ran as fast as he could towards Belle hopping he would get there in time to save her from the warriors horrible wrath...it did not occur to the young pup that the male’s reaction might be anything other than devastating...pups were not allowed to play in the Setting Sun’s Pack, it was a sign of weakness and the only thing that entered Calyx’s mind when he was running to the female pups rescue was that if it had been his father she had taken a hold of she would be in grave perhaps even fatal danger, why should this male’s reaction be any different? As the pup was running instinct for camouflage from danger took over...without thinking about it Calyx’s pelt turned a deep dark brown. This was a huge contrast to the flickering invisibility or colors that occurred whenever Calyx’s mind was focused on trying to hide. Nova | 5 years, 8 months | Female Healer | Falling Embers Nova’s deep blue gaze met the damning gaze of Rahese as she sat waiting for him to make the next move...his eyes were a deep golden color the like of which the onyx wolf had never encountered before and found quite beautiful...even if it was not so friendly at the moment. Beautiful.!...Ha what the warrior would say if he knew I viewed his eyes as beautiful...there is that warm feeling again. This time though it seemed to have grown worse perhaps a side effect of gazing directly into the male’s eyes...now it had seeped from the general area of her heart into her limbs making her fur stand on end. Just as she was standing up a formidable force rammed into her from behind and her forward momentum from standing up along with the mystery force had the small wolf stumbling into Rahese. Urgently scrambling back from the lead warrior in an effort to untangle herself from him along with the feelings that appeared when she was in contact with the brute, Nova was perhaps, for the first time in many months uncollected and not in control of the face she put on for the pack she had come a part of. The close contact with the warrior male had brought forth not only new memories, but old ones as well...how comforting it had been to curl up next to Tyrin each night or afternoon, love glowing in her chest with the knowledge she had finally had a place...or a wolf to call home and was no longer an orphan with unknown and perhaps unwanted heritage. That had changed with the arrival of her mates new power...at first it didn’t seem to affect the goofy playful wolf. But power corrupts and Tyrin slowly became more bossy and less willing to listen to Nova’s point of view, then less willing to share the demands of survival and instead letting Nova face the dangers of the wild alone. At first Nova was annoyed and then she was angry almost leaving her mate. Than he had asked for forgiveness and she had given it to him hoping this change would bring back the wolf she had known. It had not...the plead for forgiveness, Nova had since figured out, was only a ploy so that Tyrin would have more time to practice his mesmeric gift...wearing away at Nova’s mind until their was no resistance...or so he had thought. Nova blinked her blue eyes clouded with memories...blinking again the females eyes slowly started to brighten until they were once again glowing a side affect of her first power. The stars on her pelt were flashing and undulating violently in an echo of the small wolf’s inner distress and her face was holding a grimace of burning, eroding pain, a kind that the female healer had not yet found the cure for and was increasingly sure did not have a cure. The wound was not physical which was puzzling in itself...it was a mixture of the loss of her pups, her old mentor, her unknown relatives and the soul deep pain of murdering the wolf who had once been the center and the love of her heart. Nova could FEEL the emotions swirling, flashing, bounding within her emulated by the stars on her pelt...so intense, so real and always there no matter how far or deep she tried to bury them. Slowly inch by crawling inch Nova controlled the unnaturally strong emotions that she now boasted as a reward for killing the murder of her pups or, perhaps, punishment for killing the love of her life. The thing or sight that finally let her gain control was the veiw of Belle studying Rahese then suddenly latching onto his tail with one minded determination. The sight brought sudden intense humor to counteract her negative emotions. Nova let it flow freely quickly washing, burying the memories and the emotions that came with those memories...until something else reawakened them. In seconds the negative emotions were gone almost as if they had never existed. Focusing on Rahese and the hilarious picture he made with the little pup latched onto his tail Nova shook of any remaining effects of her unprepared trip down memory lane and opened her mouth in a short howl of laughter…”What are you going to do now...Warrior?” From the corner of her eye Nova notice another pup… a dark brown one… Since when have we had any dark brown pups?? Racing toward Rahese with something like terror flaring in his strangely familiar Lavender eyes. What? 0 players like this post! Like? |

Rajat | 5 Years,1 Month | Setting Sun | Alpha Male When Makeera once again returned her tail high in the air to signify her dominance, Rajat glanced at her in pacing his attention focused on the bright eyed yet week bodied elder that had stepped up. The alpha female had at first impressed the male, but her easy retreat at his scolding had washed away any respect Rajat might have had for her as an alpha...she would make a fine warrior, delta or even beta, but she was too weak willed to hold the place of alpha. He could understand anger, violence and even sadness if he stretched his imagination...but for whatever reason an alpha does not go running at the rebuttal of another pack's alpha...a sign of severe weakness and a lack of self-confidence. How could the wolves in a pack have confidence in their alpha if she or he did not have confidence in him or herself. To be honest Rajat was not very impressed with the elder...his intelligent eyes and strong build spoke of a time when he had been a superb rival...but his power had faded with time. It puzzled Rajat why the elder had not been chased off to take his rightful place next to the Elemental Wolves. It was a sham for a powerful wolf to walk in the body of a week one and lessened the power gained over the period of his life time. In the Setting’s Sun Pack when a wolf could no longer hunt… they were chased off to find their fate with the elements. Despite his thoughts Rajat nodded his head...to the wolf this elder had been as opposed to the one he was now. Rajat’s ears twitched at Daphne’s scathing tone of voice...she did not approve of his action and perhaps did not see the reasoning behind it. Let it be so...he would tell her his point of view when he returned to their den. Narrowing his eyes as he addressed all the wolves standing before him as a whole Rajat nodded his head, “Yes, I do wish to take on the punishment of my wolf if for no better reason that he might not survive such a trial, though I have other reasons. To answer your question...the female will punish Madjaster...and I will bear the wound of Kiba.” Rajat’s eyes settled on those of Kiba’s weighing him...it would be interesting to see how he reacted to such a task and what his approach would be. Though he was aware of the danger such a sacrifice for a wolf, Madjaster, who might not deserve the action. Rajat was intelligent enough to realize that his action would not be soon forgotten...and if he would sacrifice to save Madjaster the pain what would he do to keep the others of his pack safe? Rajat also knew that shear size was a big factor when it came to wounds...since he himself was so big it was unlikely he would bear any lasting effects of the wound especially with a healer's touch...Madjaster on the other hand was quite a bit smaller and already bore wounds ‘healed’ with poison...the risk was simply too great. And to Rajat’s logical mind...there was no choice. The wolf was startled out of his thoughts when a bright flake of snow fell on his nose, freezing cold in temperature. Looking up the silver wolf watched as hundreds of more flakes started their lazy fall to the ground. “We may want to be quick about this…” The wolf stated mildly his gaze once again coming to rest on the wolves standing in front of him. 0 players like this post! (By the female wolf punishing Madjaster, do you mean Camaria? Since Bascules called Kiba and Camaria.) Makeera, Madjaster, Serkahri, Camaria, Tundra: "Yes, we should be quick about this. I suppose we shall go now. Bascules shall decide which should be first, although the Gaddergar is usually first. Not always, though." Makeera replied, and, having several wolves (and yes, all my characters) trotting behind her, she quickly arrived at the challenging arena. "We usually have challenges here, but we do the punishments here too." she explained, and sat up on a large boulder in the front. Madjaster said nothing, and assumed he had to go to the actual ring inside, and so he did. He quickly scanned the wolves there, deciding who he'd rather have deal his punishment. Although, Rajat seemingly already chose a female warrior for him... which did seem to be okay unless she was huge, and it seemed that a lot of the wolves, including the females, were in fact large. he only saw a few small wolves there. Honestly, he hoped that Rajat went first with the punishment. He was quite grateful, for once, that his alpha was going to take on half of his punishments, but this rhagniad that he himself would be doing sounded... quite humiliating. It would be nice to hold on to his last taste of dominance he had, which would be gone for a while. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Iah Cehka | Female | 4yrs, 5mnths | Beta Female Tail wagging gently, she dipped her head at their kind introductions, lifting it shortly after to appease Rajat's worries -- only to be interrupted by the abrupt reappearance of Makeera, who promptly explained the answers to the alpha's questions. Feeling Camaria meet her side, the female abruptly stepped back, giving her own alpha a decent berth. Despite her loyalty, Iah couldn't help but feel annoyed, and almost... insulted. Had she not trusted her beta to, in her absence, have the knowledge and skill to act in her stead? Did her alpha question her capability, her ability to make the proper decision? Such realizations pained the beta in untold ways, so much so that she desired to retreat to the healer's den, where Calyx surely awaited her return. However... now that she had arrived, she could not very well leave immediately afterwards. It would appear rude and, even though the female felt somewhat betrayed by her, she knew Makeera would still need her help. Subduing a rueful growl, she once again took her seat, listening to the discussion between the alpha's of Falling Embers and Setting Suns. Her ears perked in surprise as the silver male requested to take on the punishment for his warrior, in respect to his injured state. She couldn't help but be impressed by his selfless actions, relieving his warrior of further physical harm, even in the face of his heinous acts. It was a noble action, and kind, in her opinion, though the question remained whether the foolish warrior deserved such a reprieve. It was not Cehka's place to judge such decisions however, though it was obvious by his mate's -- Daphne's? -- reaction, her approval was severely lacking. Watching silently as she stormed out, along with one of her female companions, the beta's attention was immediately snapped back as Makeera lead the group to the challenging area. With an air of reluctance, she followed as well, taking a seat relatively close to the alpha. In all honesty, she didn't want to be here -- even though gaddergar and the other punishment were a historical tradition, she had never been comfortable with the idea of either of them. They seemed old fashioned, overly humiliating and cruel, and she couldn't imagine taking part in them herself -- as either the exactor or recipient. Perhaps they had their place, but she herself could never see it. Maw parting in a bored yawn, she distractedly peered toward her paws -- she may have to be present, but she didn't have to watch. Rahese | Male | 5yrs 8mnths | Lead Warrior Glowering bitterly at the small healer, the warrior's mind scrambled frantically, tangling itself in a multitude of knots. Why was he standing here, instead of lodging his fangs into some wolf's hide? She held no physical restriction around him, had not tackled him to the ground, or even twisted any threats or blackmail with a growl in her voice. In fact, had she even growled? No -- that rumble rose deceivingly from his own chest, forcing his fur to ruffle in his fur. His ears proceeded to flatten, his lip curled into a malicious snarl -- all in the face of Nova's unwavering stare, directly angled into his eyes. What was...? What was she playing? Flat, eye-to-eye contact. She said nothing, but her expression betrayed that she had become far too pensive for his liking. In fact, he despised every facet of this unnaturally silent confrontation. What could she possibly be thinking about, with his gaze practically singeing her pelt? How could she stare into his eyes, so blatantly full of hostility. It was unnerving, intimidat- No! he refused, balking at the mere thought. This scrawny little wolf had nothing on him, and he would not hesitate to show her her place, higher rank or not... But then, why wasn't he already? Flinching at the thought, he tensed, eager to lunge -- only to correct himself moments after. What was he doing? Infuriating or not, this female was his pack mate! He shouldn't -- couldn't -- hurt her! Especially since he had already. Flooding with guilt, his gaze wavered between her face and the wound he had dealt her, visible even now against her dark fur, though it would perhaps be harder to spot if one didn't know it was there. His body drooped, but he forced it to stiffen once more. I didn't mean to actually hit her, he corrected in silent desperation. She had been asking for it, and he had lashed out, though not with the intention to break the skin, or even touch the fur. But he had foolishly miscalculated, and now found himself damning himself for it. Tossing his head, he continued to ward her off all the same, though the growl pumping from his chest felt false and weak. Who was she, to assume control over him? She had already forced -- er, rather, he had complied -- to her healing touch on his side, so what right had she to continue forcing him to her bidding? Except she wasn't, of course, because no wolf but the highest of ranks could direct his actions. And though higher up than he, she was merely a healer -- not one that steered the pack itself, but one that sat on the fringes, waiting for poor injured pups with thorns in their fragile little paw pads. Snorting in falsified derision, Rahese parted his maw to speak -- only for a startled yelp to squeal out in its stead as something foreign latched onto his tail, and tiny claws flailed through the fur on his hindquarters. A now jeering Nova forgotten, the brute folding his body in a "c," attempting curve about and figure out what exactly had a hold of him. Unfortunately, the curvature in either directing promptly led to sharp pain originating from his wound, the action either crumpling or stretching the edges. The moss also hindered the movement, so much so that he was tempted to rip the thing right off -- however, he stopped in face of the knowledge that Nova would be determined to reapply it. So, staggering backward, he turned in quick, frantic circles, head craned around as far as he could manage. A flash of black fur, darker than his own, swung into his vision, and shock hopped in his chest. What in the world?! Was a badger clinging to his arse? Even more frantic now, he backed into more circles, confusion and alarm abruptly unbalancing him and knocking him onto his rear. The movement knocked the creature off, and he rapidly whirled to face it -- only to come muzzle to muzzle with a little black she-pup. Any fearful aggression he had been prepared to dole out flooded from his chest, replaced with blank bewilderment. Blinking flatly into the pup's eyes, he cocked his head -- wondering what in the world had possessed the pup to clamp onto his tail in such a manner. One of his ears flicked at the healer's laughter, but the male appeared too enthralled with the tiny creature before him to offer any immediate retort. Breath puffing into her face, he stared at her for a few more moments -- before abruptly bumping his muzzle gently into her side, spilling her onto her back. Having her where he wanted her, he then gently prodded her with his paw. The whole interaction was rather odd, and it seemed though the warrior had no idea what he was doing. Which was quite correct. It was impossible to tell if he was attempting to elicit play, or prod this foreign creature in an experimental fashion. Either way, he was gentle and careful, his concentration narrowed -- though the healer's amusement was sure to get a sharp response sooner rather than later. "What was that all about?" he asked at last, his voice gruff. 0 players like this post! Like? Edited on 15/11/15 @ 06:37:41 by Piper [SC][MP] (#21479) |

Ravnilo//Male//Lead Hunter//3 yrs 4 months//FEP It was quite unusual for Ravnilo to stay so quiet in a situation like this, nor did he like that. He chastised himself for not getting more involved with the situation, even though it was the better thing to do. However, he stopped when the punishments were mentioned; and the only thing he liked more than aggression and female wolves, were humiliating others. And if he was picked for either, that would be perfect. Sitting on one of the front row boulders only a few away from the alpha. He chose a short one to get the best view of what was going on. "So... can I do either? I mean, I would be perfect for dealing either punishment." he asked, knowing full well that the wolves were already chosen. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Belle/ Female/ Pup/ FEP Chewing happily upon the bushy tail even as the wolf attached to it tried to catch a glimpse of her. Grip tight, even the frantic circling didn’t remove Belle from he r new toy. The movement made it all the more fun. Though when the self powered toy tumbled over, she lost her grip and tumbled over as well. Having the large muzzle of Rahese in his face when she opened her eyes, didn’t scare her and she took delight in having the male nudge her over. In return Belle curled her little paws along and around the one that prodded her. Hoping to nibble on this part of her toy as well, Belle craned her neck, tongue just reaching the curled edge of the large paw. It wasn’t the warriors question that paused her actions. No it was the now dark brown pup racing up the hill. Nose twitching, Belle breathed in the new scent. Judging it and concluding it was the smell was her newest friend. Remembering that she must always answer her superiors- something papa’s trial and errors in the pack have taught her- Belle tilted her head up to look Rahese in the eyes. ”Your buts fluffy, wanted to chew.” Licking his muzzle as an after thought she added a ”Thank you” before rolling from under him in one swift movement. Standing and letting her words sit with the two grown wolves, Belle wanted to show off her new friend but he seemed panicked. His eyes were wide and something wasn’t right with the way he was flashing toward them. When he stopped before them she was at his side in a heartbeat. Circling him to check he was alright and in the same movement showing the male pup that she was equal fine. Daphne/ Female/ Alpha/ 4 years/ SSP Trying not to stomp away and hold onto her calm appearance, Daphne didn’t feel right. She was headed back to camp when she should be miles away looking for the next pack to join. Having told Rainar to fallow when the female shouldn’t have been her concern. This was the fault of Rajat. His choice to take on the punishment should have her running. It was a hair brained idea that would risk the safety of the pack for a short time. Having two of the five wolves in the pack be injured was a deal breaker for the fae. But the same half cocked idea had Daphne taking the path to Setting Suns camp and not the path out of the shared territory. The show of protection and loyalty to his pack had the female wanting to howl at him until his ears bleed, not run until he couldn’t find her. ”Idiot brutes” She seized whirling around in a quick motion to dig her claws into the bark of a old timber. Turning the bark a mucky brown and eating away some of its age rings, with her poison. This was her sign of refusal and Daphne couldn’t even take pride in it. The mark to the tree wasn’t on the leaving path of the territory. No this one was a signal to all that she was heading home, and dammit did she hated that it felt good to do so. Pausing in her rampage, Daphne looked over her shoulder to speak to Rainar. ”I wont let stop you if you wish to go back and stand by the rest of the pack…. But I will not show my loyalty for the price of hiding my disagreement with Raja’s choose” Leaving the beta to at the camp entrance, Daphne slinked into her den. Lacking in the scent of her own making. She never spent much time inside the smoothed sediment walls. She rather liked the brush of the wind on her fur as she slept. Now taking the time to remark her scent, brushing along the walls and furs. Rolling onto her back once she was finished. The mixed smell of Rajat drifted up from the fur. Bangles ringing softly as she pawed at the air. Twisting her head the vile around her neck brushed against her skin, sending thoughts racing once again. Kiba/ Male/ Warrior/ FEP Surprise flickered along his face when he realized what he was called for. An Honor that could help or hinder his future plans. Smoothing out his features and turning to Bascules Kiba noodled and fallowed the rest of the group to the challenge arena. With Madijaster falling from grace, it wouldn’t be hard to take out the male. But how would preforming the this punishing bite affect his standing in Rajat’s eyes? Injuring a potential leader was not the way to make a good first impression. By passing all those thoughts, Kiba wondered why Bascules had not chosen Rahese to be the one to do this. The male was the lead warrior and in his prime. There was also the favoritism that Bascules could as Rahese is his pup. None the less Kiba would be sure to steer clear of the lead warrior for a while. A sigh passed his lips just as he dropped down from a bolder into the arena. Keeping his ducks in a row was getting harder. But when those ducks were viscous wolves instead the job became nearly impossible. Facing the way center of the blood streaked grass area, Kiba breathed in a deep breath. Closing his eyes for a moment, feeling the pressure of everything leave him. No more worry or anger. Calmly standing, tail hanging limply and brushing the ground and ears twitching around, Kiba his mind. He wasn’t one to over plan his future. Taking life one step at a time was best in his eyes. Opening his eyes, the wolf didn’t give anything away as he waited for Rajat and Bascules to choose the next moments. 0 players like this post! Like? Edited on 16/11/15 @ 17:01:57 by Hetchi (#39590) |

Bascules/ Male/ Gamma/ FEP Letting the true leaders of the pack walk ahead of him, Bascules took a moment to glance up the hill. Making sure that Nova had Rahese well distracted from what was going on down hill. Sure in the fact that his pup was well out of reach to the events, Bascules marched on to the challenge arena. "Makeera let us have the warrior punished first then sent for treatment as a precaution." Feeling bad for having to send more work Nova's way, Bascules made not to take some time to talk with her. It was his hope that the fae would be able to help fix somethings between him and Rahese. Eyes falling on Kiba, Bascules could see he was ready to do whatever and this pleased the old male. To be able to leave the pack with many capable males made death seem easier. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Makeera, Madjaster, Camaria, and Ravnilo: "Okay, Bascules. Sounds good. So who do you choose to do the honors?" Makeera asked Bascules, looking around the rows of wolves. "I will be right back." Makeera informed the old gamma. And so she went tot he nearby lake and sipped as much water as she could, the returned swiftly back. "And I'm back. Anyways, who do you choose?" she then asked, flicking her tailtip. "Well, it's good to get it out of the way, though I would like to hold onto my dignity for a little bit more." Madjaster butted in. "You mean the dignity you never had?" Camaria mocked, finally making herself a little more noticeable. "Yes, where is your dignity?" Ravnilo replied in a snarky manner. Madjaster sighed, tucking in his tail. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Raven|Female|Head huntress|Falling Embers She felt uncomfortable in the arena, she looked down at Kiba, she was nervous for him, and for her. Her heat sent was still all over the place, and she restrained herself from sinking down and looking like an omega. Instead she held herslef high and looked every wolf in the eye. She was not weak, and she had a strong mate to prove it. She looked down at her hansom mate, Kiba, and hopped for the best. She knew that he was an amazing warrior, but taking on the brute of the alpha, she wasn't sure how he would come out. And she really hoped that this wasn't going to conflict in the future, them joining the Setting suns pack. She sat near the rest of the pack, but also by herself, she was separated from the pack, standing alone, the warriors mate. Rainar|Female|Beta|Setting Suns She nodded to her alpha, they had reached the camp, the sent was still strong here, but her sent was lacking so she went around brushing the underbrush and rolling on the ground. "I will stand by you always," she replied looking at her Alpha female, "I am loyal and will always be here for you," she then went to her own den, that was not underground but instead was in a stand of trees. Nestled in the trees was a little section of bushes that she had made her den in. It was quite comfortable, in her opinion, but she would need to fortify it for the winter. she smiled and curled up, she would worry about that later. Now she was full and needed rest, It wasnt hard for her to fall asleep. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Rajat | 5 Years,1 Month | Setting Sun | Alpha Male Rajat followed the rest of the wolves to the challenge arena, liking the look of it. He had been too easy on his wolves these past few months...it was time to get his own wolves back into. shape. No doubt the Falling Ember’s Pack drilled everyday or at least trained...their was the recent scent of quite a few wolves here. It puzzled the alpha considering that the borders were not well marked perhaps these wolves were just that confident...almost all the wolves in Falling Embers he had met so far had been confident to the point of arrogance...at least in Rajat’s opinion. Walking into the middle of the arena Rajat bumped Madjaster out of the way, these wolves seemed indecisive about who would punish Madjaster...why not the alpha female since she held such a severe grudge? It was none of his concern anyway...he had done his job as alpha male the one responsible for those in his pack and not entirely willingly especially because it was to keep harm from a wolf that was showing the characteristics of the weak. Turning Rajat held completely still focusing his mind...it would be a test on his temper not to return any harm inflicted upon himself. After a few moments the wolves lavender eyes focused on Kiba, ignoring the other wolves, else his anger get away from him. Silver pelt reflecting the ever increasing fall of snowflakes...it looked as if a world of silver lay inside his fur, strangely familiar but totally different, a unique perspective of the world it reflected. “What are you waiting for, Warrior? Attack!” It was the practiced bark of a wolf who knew and understood his power as an alpha. It was time to see how this warrior, who Rajat more increasingly wished would try and enter his pack, would react. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Calyx | 2 Month | Male pup Rushing towards the three wolves Calyx came to a sudden stop stumbling over his paws unable to fully correct himself due to the eye patch that covered one of his brilliant lavender eyes the only thing preventing him from attacking the older male wolf despite the futility such an action would raise. It was Belle’s voice reassuring him that she was unharmed and wondering if he was hurt that calmed the pup down. When he had seen the lead warrior pawing at her with paws that dwarfed the female he had been consumed by fear and rage sure that the male was hurting his friend..ridiculous considering that he had just met the other pup. The currently dark brown male did not know that this would be a regular reaction of a wolf who saw a friend hurt...in fact the pup did not have the word friend in his vocabulary the closest words being assistant or mate, totally different from the simple yet complex meaning of the word friend. He had never had pups his own age to play with other than his siblings who in the early days before they had died were more prone to stealing Calyx’s share of the life giving milk that his mother supplied them with. As for a friend coming up later, it just did not happen in the Setting Suns...mentor,sure,but not friend. The pup was confused by the meaning of his defensive emotions and met the seemingly equally confused gaze of the Lead Warrior...silently asking what was going on and why he felt so odd. Nova | 5 years, 8 months | Female Healer | Falling Embers Nova’s attention was once again drawn to Rahese and his...attachment, when the male started circling in confusion until he finally dislodged his “attacker”. The Lead Warrior then preceded to paw at the pup, Belle, with gentle movements of his large paw not seeming to know exactly what he was doing. The sight of such a large male, a warrior none the less, showing a uniquely gentle side of his character struck the healer deep in her gut. Having seen many fathers, she knew what to expect in any male wolves role when it came to pups. She had seen males who ignored pups, males who trained pups, males who abused their pups and males who murdered their pups. If this was any indication of how Rahese would handle pups she had just found a unique species of male wolf who saw the pup for the little trouble causing miracle it was...not a tool or possession. And to find this trait in Rahese of all wolves who had problems with his own father and lived as a warrior...the elemental wolves did indeed have a sense of humor. It was the pups comment to Rahese’s puzzled question that startled Nova out of her musing with a howl of laughter straight from her heart...for the little pup to look so seriously into the large warrior’s eyes and state with a perfectly straight face that he had a rather chewable fluffy butt...standing up Nova could not shake off the urge to tease Rahese just a little more. Slowly circling the male leader while studying him from the tips of his ears to the end of his tail Nova paused behind him then walked up beside him to where Belle seemed to be comforting her dark brown friend. “You are right, Belle...Rahese does have a rather chewable looking fluffy butt.” Nova stated humor laced in her tired voice. Nova looked up at the warrior raising an eyebrow,” I have various herbs that could help you with that problem, Rahese.” Nova told him in a casual voice before turning her attention to the two pups...the dark male was familiar for some reason but for the life of her, the healer could not seem to focus on why...which was becoming increasingly annoying. Every time she reached for the memory it slipped away seemingly consumed by the draining tiredness that was leaching the energy from the small wolf’s bones. For a second the female fell asleep only to start awake when she unconsciously leaned against the only available support,Rahese. The full week and more without sleep had done its damage to the female and she no longer really cared in that moment what her responsibilities were, so strong the lack of sleep was...like a black hole sucking in her consciousness, a failsafe in case a wolf was particularly stubborn which fit Nova to the letter. Without being aware of her surroundings Nova lay down curling up, her tufted onyx ears peeking out while the rest of her face was hidden beneath her paws. Asleep in a second, Nova was not aware of the increasing snowfall or how small she looked without her formidable personality to animate her. If she had been, the small wolf would undoubtedly have marched up to whatever elemental was in control of sleep and demand retribution for making her show that weakness in front of other wolves one of which Rahese who would surely not forget it. The wind picked up and dark clouds started to roll in covering the moon and ruffling the star-spattered onyx pelt of the healer as she slept. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Makeera and Madjaster: "So who's punishing Madjaster?" Makeera asked, barely containing the excitement inside her, though she did fidget a little bit. It wasn't all excitement, as one could easily tell. As Madjaster was pushed out of the ring, he clambered onto one of the stones in the back row. Even if he didn't agree with Rajat in some ways, he couldn't stand to watch him get punished for something he didn't do. He was grateful for it, though, and didn't plan on changing his mind. The lead warrior flinched at the bark, even though he knew it wasn't for him. It was just sudden, that was all. (And frankly, it doesn't really matter who punishes Madjaster, though I do know it will be hilarious no matter what. For me, anyway. Not sure about everyone else.) 0 players like this post! Like? |

Kiba/ Male/ Warrior/ FEP Though he found it humorous when Rajat pushed Madijaster from the ring, Kiba didn't let it show. Of course because of his gift being in effect, he only caught the sound of the interaction and he only caught that because the gift was focused on the alpha male. Now that the lager wolf was settled before him, Kiba could feel his muscles bunch and his blood start to pules white hot with adrenaline. What would happen when he went to strike? Would Rajat be able to hold himself back and deny basic instinct? This was something Kiba himself would never be able to do, having only one litter mate, the warrior didn't have a accurate scenes of when to control his more base instinct when dealing with other wolves. As a warrior this was only doubled.... every little nip was asking for a fight to break out. A sharp barked order to attack broke Kiba's chain of thought and a brief flicker of his eye color between gifted grey and normal red/ brown was corrected by a blink of his eyes. Though he was more than willing to give Rajat what he asked for- half to prove himself and half for the jealousy he felt when he had found Raven in the presence of the other male earlier- Kiba looked away from Rajat, dropping his gift briefly, to look at Bascules. Looking eyes with the old male, Kiba looked for the go ahead from one of his currant leaders. A sharp nod of the head was his answer. Turning back to Rajat- no gift in play, Kiba let a feral grin play over his muzzle. It would be easy to show strength and skill against panther or bear, but to show off against another wolf? Oh what fun! Even if Rajat wasn't going to fight back, Kiba lover this kind of event. Sometimes he wished to be challenged more just to tear at another wolfs hide. But he had settled for handling Kashi's fights. ((Very detailed description, because I got really into it. Hope you all enjoy. Oh I'm also leaving it slightly open ended for Rajat to react to.)) As his hidden- or would be true?- nature crawled to the surface, Kiba let his body move. One large silver paw slide across the ground, turning up dried grass and dirt as he angled his body slightly right. Front legs muscles bunched, working to support the weight of Kiba's slightly lowered upper body. His ears pricked back aiding in stretching the already tight skin alone his muzzle, baring lethal, pearly fangs failed to hold in a growl of pure enjoyment. All of this happened in only a moment and in the next the tall warrior was moving. Sharp eyes searching the galaxy along the supposed dire wolfs side. As intent as he was, Kiba made sure to keep track of where the other males formidable muzzle was located. This split in his attention didn't slow his speed and after a few stride- that would have seemed impossibly long to a shorter wolf, Kiba was nearly parallel to Rajat. There on the alpha's side, back on his left hip sat a cluster of stars. They shimmered and danced, reflecting in a more sinister mirror of real life. Overall they were beautiful and seemed to call him. And who was he to deny them? So in a flick of a paw, Kiba was turning into toward them, throwing up a cloud of dirt. The tang of blood rang out along his tongue, as his teeth sliced through fur and hide. First with ease and the difficulty that Kiba savored. Just for a second he let his eyes lids lower in pleasure as blood spilt out from closed jaws. This is why he dint hunt often, blood brought out by his fangs was like catnip and right now Kiba was no more than a kitten rolling in the a bush of it. Bascules/ Male/ Gamma/ FEP Winded from his short trip to the challenge arena, Bascules settled for a perch on a lower leveled bolder. Playing off the fact that he couldn't manage another leap to higher spot. While he was settling himself down, Rajat and Kiba seemed to ready themselves. A wolf Bascules didn't truly know questioned if he could preform a task, even as it was obvious that everything had been assigned. Wanting to shake his head and bark at the wolf, the old male was stopped by a younger more dominant wolfs bark. Rajat had spoken something to Kiba and the warrior in turned looked up to Bascules. for a moment the greying wolf had to think on what it was Kiba could have wanted at this point. Settling that he needed assurance to proceed, Bascules nodded. "Go on Kiba" The words were a breathless whisper and he didn't watch in favor of turning to speak with Makeera. "After Kiba is done and Rajat is sent to treated, then Camaria should dish out Madijaster punishment." 0 players like this post! Like? |
