Madjaster//Male//Lead Warrior//2 yrs 3 months//SSP Madjaster let out a whine as Rahese knocked him over. Getting up, he dared not shake out his pelt. What use was it anyway? It was practically plastered onto his pelt. He knew that his packmates would laugh at him endlessly for what had happened. Espesially that a female wolf smaller than him was chosen. He had noticed that Rahese's pelt was starting to dry/ Yet his was still dripping wet and disgusting. Though more dry than before, obviously. "I suppose chewing on my back would not be very pleasant for you - it'll put a bad taste on your mouth." he snickered, then hurried into the healer's den and settled into one of the empty nests. He let out a long sigh. (I did not get the Ice Age reference ;-; cri cri) 0 players like this post! Like? Edited on 26/11/15 @ 22:30:13 by ~Simba the Fluffy Lion~ (#27778) |

Raven|Female|Headhuntress|Falling embers She watched as Ravnilo ran away and she looked down at the blood on her claws. Her heart clenched and squeezed. She looked up at Kiba and then down at her paw, and then she lowered in down onto he ground and tried to get the blood off. It didn't work, and all she could think about was getting the scum and filth off her claws. She padded over to the lake, and washed her paw off, watching the blood disappear slowly onto the water, the pretty colour fading as the water carried it away. she looked back over her shoulder at Kiba, and her heart swelled. Her life was finally coming together and now she had a stalker. she looked at Kiba, taking in his size, his muscles and his face. He was in her standards beautiful she padded towards him and stuck her face into his, her nose just a centimeter from his. She looked into his eyes, and then held his gaze waiting for his to do something. Anything, she sat there in silence looking at him, taking him in. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Just a reminder Rajat's pelt reflects whatever place he is in...if he is in the forest it will reflect trees grass and perhaps even the sky...if he is in a poorly lit den his pelt will post likely have little color in it though it will improve any lighting previously there. Wow...this was a long post.... Calyx | 2 Month | Male pup Calyx’s hesitated when Iah Cehka uttered his name taking a cautious step forward not sure if the word had been a greeting or a warning. As Calyx tried to determine what the female's current mood was, he watched the snowflakes falling with increasing speed sparkling brightly in the moonlight as if they were falling stars. They were magical….and something he had never before seen. Oh he had heard tales of winter, snow and how very dangerous the season was….funny how none of the wolves within his pack mentioned how beautiful the snow was despite it’s apparent danger. Lifting his paw Calyx looked at his small paw print comparing it to one of Iah’s paw prints. Looking even from a distance the pup noticed the difference in size and was humbled as well as afraid. Looking up into Iah Cehka’s eyes Calyx wondered why a wolf not even related to him would treat him with kindness when his own father had meant to kill him...did she have an alternative purpose? In truth it did not matter for Calyx was smart enough to realize that he would need a wolf to take care of him in this dangerous world and this older female seemed to be willing for whatever reason. Taking a deep breath and whispering a plea to the elemental wolves, one of the few things Calyx had learned from his mother, the pup took a few steps forward rubbing his fur against Iah’s leg before standing in front of her head lowered. “Would it be alright if I sleep in the den with you tonight Iah Cehka? Rajat | 5 Years,1 Month | Setting Sun | Alpha Male The alpha thought over Kashi, the hunter’s, words viewing them with interest as he might a new, likely useless, substance found in the forest. Though they might be useless there was a small possibility that the female was correct in a few of her observations though they confused the alpha. About to reply to the beautiful wolf Rajat was distracted by the entrance of three wolves, Madjaster who the alpha ignored, the male he had seen earlier the lead warrior and a small wolf who the alpha recognized as the healer, Nova. Gaze focusing on the healer the first reaction the male felt was dismissal...this wolf was small and she did not have that often deadly aura that encircled wolves with a lethal power. Her ears were slightly drooped despite her confident pace and her eyes dull with either stupidity or exhaustion. It was then the alpha noticed just how attractive this female was with flickering, sparkling lights held within the onyx of her fur and deep glowing eyes. The alpha knew the power of such an attractive pelt could be when used properly to get what one wanted, that was not really enough though, for Rajat, who viewed beauty as the least powerful form of power. He turned his attention then to the male lead warrior he had seen before...why was he here? To guard the healer perhaps by Makeera’s orders? Or perhaps by his own free will? As the Rajat remembered that he had been curled around another wolf on that hill...Perhaps the healer wanted someone as backup...there was an easy way to solve this mind twister and perhaps get the male into trouble. Rajat noticed then that Nova was done with her treatment without a word said to him not even to warn him of the sting as she realigned the wound. Her continuing silence was getting on his nerves, he was an alpha and he expected to be warned before being impaled with bone. As much to get a reaction out of Nova as to find out the reason the lead warrior resided within the den, Rajat started to nuzzle the fur upon the healers back...surprised but pleased by its pleasant smell and at the same time watching the lead warrior for any kind of reaction. To Rajat’s surprise it was not the warrior who responded first but the healer, feeling her claws dig deep into his sensitive tail as she stepped upon it not only once, but twice making the alpha want to yelp...even then she did not look at him!. Angered beyond reason for being ignored was not something Rajat tolerated he almost leapt to his feet to attack the female. He stopped though...just in time realizing he would have endangered the alliance if he instigated the fight. Eyes darkening with anger Rajat watched the healer...this one was not stupid...was very intelligent and she would regret ignoring the him. Nova | 5 years, 8 months | Female Healer | Falling Embers As Nova stepped into the healer's den she felt a rush of (annoying) relief as Rahese joined her. It had not fully dawned on the small wolf just how huge Rajat, Alpha of the Setting Sun’s Pack, was up close and personal...or perhaps it had just not mattered when the experienced female had known that she would be able to run circles around him with ease. It was a another knock to the pride as well as the gut to realize that if he turned aggressive...that if any of the wolves turned aggressive...that the healer would not be able to win the fight though she would definitely make sure that the attacker would lose some hide. Kashi lay on a moss pad not to far from the alpha watching him with keen eyes that spoke clearly that she did not trust him. Though it was a comfort to have the female there it was not as comforting as having the lead warrior standing watch….for whatever reason he was the first that came to mind when Nova thought of trust. Ridiculous, really considering the fact that he found her the most annoying thing in the world if his behavior and, indeed, his words were anything to go by. Not letting herself show any weakness, the female padded up to the alpha with confidence born of practice. Gently removing the moss pad that Kashi had placed upon the wound the healer inspected it, quite relieved with what she saw, noting that the hide had been torn off leaving muscle exposed. With any other creature Nova may not have been so relieved...but wolves, especially male wolves, boasted a lot of skin more than they needed most of the time, but there none the less. Signalling Ro atop his perch Nova waited for him to grab some of the carved ring shaped bone splinters, the same she had used when healing Kashi. Shaped like the letter C, these splinters were great at holding things together...as long as nothing messed with their placement overmuch. Nova placed a paw over one of the lips of the wound holding it in place while she nudged the other edge closer letting Ro slip in a few of the specially shaped splinters through the skin holding it in place. The wound was now close enough together to smear the already present honey over the whole thing using her paw. Backing up Nova carefully reapplied the moss, then suddenly stiffened when she felt the brush of fur and the tingle of strangely familiar power with it horrifyingly similar to the healer’s former mate. She had noticed the dismissing almost demeaning gaze of the alpha of course and had also detected the physical appreciation in his eyes...nothing she had not seen before in her time as a loner, though never had these feelings been quite so strong in another. She had ignored both, not even speaking a word of warning when treating the male’s wound...had found this was the most effective defense against such wolves who believed themselves somehow superior weather in size, shape or power. This was different though...the male was rubbing his nose against the fur of her back and such a display was something the female could not ignore despite the fact that he was most likely doing it to get a response out of her. Lifting her paw to lick off the honey as she thought, the female’s blue gaze suddenly sparked with an idea...and promptly walked towards Madjaster’s moss bed making sure at least two of her paws landed on the alpha’s tail, claws digging in. Responding to his rude actions while not actually responding...completely ignoring him in fact. Before she got to Madjaster Nova walked slowly by Rahese meeting his golden gaze, from his behavior before with Madjaster she was not sure if he would yet again become violent...hopefully he would understand how important not starting a fight was….the same reason Nova had dared to step upon the alpha’s tail...the alpha simply did not dare to attack her for fear of losing the alliance. As she approached Madjaster, Nova pawed at her nose trying to get rid of the smell of urine realizing that the he had not washed off before walking into the den...this would be unpleasant unless she got him cleaned off. “Would you pleeaassee go wash out your fur in the basin, wolf. I am not going to spending the rest of my night trying to dry myself after healing you.” The healer stated in her quiet voice, glowing eyes staring gravely into the opposite packs lead warrior’s own. 0 players like this post! Madjaster//Male//Lead Warrior//2 yrs 3 months//SSP "I can... but do you promise to heal me afterwards?" Madjaster asked the healer. Then he yelped as the healer's claws dug into him. He stalked off to wash his fur in one of the rivers of the territory, one that didn't look like it was frequently used. Unfortunately, when he came back not all the urine was gone. He was still dripping wet but with water this time, and the smell was still there but not as strong as before. "Okay, I did so." He did not bother shaking out his fur, for he liked the nice, cold, scentless water. And it would dry soon, anyway. (Camaria shall forever be known as a troll for this. And Madjaster will be laughed at for the next 47 years.) 0 players like this post! Like? |

(I feel that it's... incredibly dangerous for Rahese and Rajat to be in the same space. xD Also, Simba, Nova didn't touch Madjaster.) Iah Cehka | Female | 4yrs 5mnths | Beta Female As the pup hesitated in his approach, the female remained patiently still, gaze placed kindly upon him. Below his wary exterior, a sense of awe shone in his uncovered lavender eye as he looked upon the heavily falling snow. The flakes were small but many, feathering down in steady consistency now as the wind died down, leaving the world in muted silence. Though she had seen many years of snowfall, she could still recall the very first winter she witnessed. Hers had been less than pretty, with ferocious blizzards relentlessly battering the pack and nearly starving them all... but one day, the snow had stopped, and the little white furball she was simply couldn't get enough. She had frolicked about in snow deeper than she was tall for ages, her mother worriedly tracking her progress in case she got stuck or lost altogether. Though no snow had fallen that particular day, plowing through the sparkling expanse of unmarred snow had been a treat in itself. And Calyx, stepping into his first winter, would experience that amazement as she did. Only the faintest whisper from the pup forced the female out of her musings, and she wagged her tail ever so slightly in encouragement as he finally approached. Ears tipping in surprise as he brushed his pelt against hers, she watched as he moved to stand before her, head bowed as he requested to stay in her den. Softly, she chuffed, dropping her muzzle and placing it under his, and lifting it until he had no choice but to meet her gaze. "You needn't bow your head, little pup -- you have no reason to." Falling quiet, she extricated her muzzle from his and sat up once more, only to rise to her paws. "Of course you can stay with me. Follow, and keep close -- visibility is low, and it'll be no good if we lose each other." Turning away, she took off at a gentle pace, ears tilted behind her to detect the reassuring crunch of Calyx's paw steps. The snow, despite its sheer volume, was fluffy and light, and even the paws of a wolf, that allowed them to tread safely across deep snow, sank into it with ease. Despite this, it was still a bit difficult to hear whether the pup was following -- but Iah dare not look back, as she may unintentionally intimidate him. So she continued on in silence, leading the way back to the pack's camp and to her rock, which was placed snugly against the stone barrier of camp. Or so it appeared, anyway. Miraculously, the female placed herself between the two, and began to dig at the barrier, eventually revealing an alcove tucked behind the rock and beneath the snow. Stepping back, the beta revealed her den, surprisingly small at the entrance. "I will enter first," she explained, hoping the pup was at her back. "It widens considerably inside, and there are exits at both ends, so there's no need to feel trapped." Stepping forward, the female did just as she stated, slipping into the hole. Cold stone met her paw pads, and she winced as her the tips of her ears hovered just beneath the ceiling. There was nothing homey about this place -- it had been so long since she had stepped inside, the rock placed just before the den far more preferably to this closed-in place. In actuality, it was fairly large, but Ceh cared not for enclosed spaces, no matter how many entrances or exits there were. Even in winter, she could be found sleeping outside, in spite of the harshest of storms. If she so chose, she would prefer to be out there even now -- but this den was far too cold for Calyx to stay alone, so it would be her duty to use her body heat to warm the area. Nosing around the den in the dim light, she found some loose scraps of down that she had collected one summer, having discovered a leftover nest from a mother goose and her young. It had been empty, save the leftover baby feathers. She had collected them on a whim, and had placed them in her den, as there was no other place to put them. It seemed as though they would finally come to some use. Roughly, she clawed the delicate fluff into somewhat of a nest, before retreating a bit farther into the den to lay down, waiting for the small male to enter. Rahese | Male | 5yrs 8mnths | Lead Warrior The brute had to force himself from bristling as he entered the healer's den with Nova, gaze flickering between the alpha male and the annoying mongrel he had wanted to tear into moments before. In his opinion, the wolves should go take care of themselves -- not request help on behalf of a pack whose territory they had invaded only a few days before. These rival wolves were playing far too much on Falling Ember's kindness -- a kindness he hoped would soon run out. Though these wolves had power at their paws, his own pack had both power in numbers, and power in the more mysterious form. It would be a harsh war, and victory could not be assured... but if it were to get rid of these wolves, Rahese would take them on himself. Temper flaring, he forced it to settle as his gaze turned upon Kashi, who calmly watched from across the den. He offered her a hoarse bark before settling down himself, carefully keeping himself angled in a way that his healing wound would not move into the rival wolves' line of site. Thankfully, it was easy, the wound naturally faced toward the wall. As he settled, he leaned against the stone, forelegs stretching before him as he proceeded to watch. Nova moved with her natural pride and confidence before them, even in her exhausted state, gathering her supplies and turning her attention first upon the alpha male, who looked upon her in calculating derision -- an expression that quickly turned lewd as he roved his eyes all over her pelt. Choking back a snarl in his throat, he fought with the urge to start tearing through fur at that instant -- knowing that despite his own opinion, Falling Embers pack as a whole were trying to keep the peace. He would not be the one to disrupt it. The lead warrior watched in pleasure as the small healer and her weird bird secured his wound with rings of bone -- not so much pleased that he was being healed, but very much so revelling in the fact that those little shards were no doubt causing him some measure of pain. Serves him right, he determined with a subdued growl, irritation beginning to mount as his eyes merely locked upon him. He wanted to knock the arrogance out of those lavender eyes of his, staring down upon Nova as if she was incompetent. In fact, he would've liked to knock out the eyes themselves, if he found the opportunity. He continued to watch in silence, however -- if he acted upon his instincts, he would merely destroy the fragile balance that had settled in the den, and no wolf would thank him for it. So, measuring what little patience he had, he roved his eyes between the two males, ready to react at any sign of hostility they may accidentally display. His patience was promptly stressed to its limits, however, as his golden gaze flashed upon the sight of the alpha sticking his muzzle into Nova's star-speckled pelt, taking in a breath as though he were drawing in the heat scent of a wanton bitch. Fur bristling, his eyes hardened with hate -- but, he did not move to rise. He knew Nova well -- as well as she allowed him, at least -- and he knew that she did not need his help in protecting her security. Right now, yes, she would need him to win a fight if one happened to break out -- but this was a different matter altogether. No wolf dared to lay a paw like that on the healer, and she was fully capable of showing the lecherous brute exactly why. Rahese watched closely as Nova finished her work and turned to the mutt Madjaster -- who stilled smelled rankly of urine and was apparently not able to consider washing it off himself -- and caught the moment as the healer fearlessly tread upon the alpha's exposed tail, carelessly burdening her weight and claws into the appendage. His lip curled in an amused sneer as he watched pain, and then anger, flash across the faded-silver brute's face, not hesitating to hide his pleasure in her deliberate actions. It was a silent but definite display of her opinion -- the male's bait simultaneously working and failing in his favour. It would be wise of the mutt to not underestimate the female by her small size... she was a beast by all accounts, perfectly capable of mowing him down in a fight, if she were at her best. He had witnessed similar scenarios occur as the she-wolf had fought her way into the healer's position -- larger, seemingly stronger wolves laying defeated at her paws. Though he had collided with her many a time, he had yet to actually battle with her on physical terms, but he knew if the time came that she was a force to be reckoned with. Even further amused by Nova's request that Madjaster clean his filthy pelt, he allowed the smaller male to pass with merely a growl, though he didn't hesitate to mock the foolish question he uttered as the wolf himself stepped out of the den. "How lowly is this wolf, that he feels he has to seek assurance from others time and time again that he will be healed? He seems far too cowardly to be of lead warrior rank, or any kind of warrior at all," the brute stated aloud, before he allowed his head to rest upon his extended legs. His eyes roved carelessly about the den, and narrowed upon Madjaster as he returned. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Madjaster//Male//Lead Warrior//2 yrs 3 months//SSP Madjaster growled loudly at Rahese's statement, suddenly regaining his courage. "Listen here, even if I had recently been punished and seem cowardly, I am certainly more courageous than you can ever be. Do not get me angry, for the results will not be pretty." He then regretted this and settled down back into his nest to where Nova had been. Madjaster let out a yawn and closed his eyes, trying to get some sleep. He kept alert, however, and listened for anything useful to him. (Agh, I realize she didn't touch him just now xD) 0 players like this post! Like? |

Kiba // Male // Warrior // FEP After the intruding male left, Kiba just watched Raven moved around. Having so much happen in the last month, tired the male out of his mind. Between the new pack, his own plans to join its ranks and Ravens heat; life wasn't going to calm down anytime soon. A content growl built in his throat as Raven approached him. Coming face to face with him just gazing into his eyes. She didn't speak and Kiba hesitated to break the peaceful silence. But he gave her a plateful wink before doing so. "First I had to compete against Duke, now its another dark furred wolf." stepping back from her, Kiba circled around her. Brushing his head into her fur every now and then. "Maybe I should lock you away, might keep the compaction out of the way." After licking her cheek on a pass around her, he let out a low rumbling laugh. "But I would miss seeing you hand them their tails." "All kidding aside. I had hoped to reenact the moment I asked you to be my mate." He said stopping before her letting out a sigh. "Flowers, the setting and everything." At this point he was mumbling to himself. Backing away from her he admired his work in the light snow. A small heart circled the fae, it was made entirely of paw prints. "But I'm nothing if not a great improviser. And I'm hopeful that you'll do me the honor of bearing my pups. Kashi // Female // Hunter // FEP Laying her head on her paws, Kashi watched as Nova entered the den and go straight to work. Without a word to Rajat or so much as a glance at him. A laugh built in her chest but she held it back, knowing that the air was thick enough. When Rahese gave her a bark of greeting as he settled down next to a wall, Kiba nodded her head to him returning the bark. Once everything seemed to be settled inside the den Kashi stood up and walked out of the den moving to sit outside of the entrance. Feeling overheated and tired, she just needed a rest outside of everything for a moment. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Raven|Female|Headhuntress|Falling embers She looked down at the heart, carved into the snow at her feet. She loved kiba so much, but she was afraid to move, not wanting to wreak the heart he had made her. She smiled and her tail started wagging ever so slightly. The shadows had all but disappeared, leaving the lack bright, the snow shining white in the sun, crystals of white, powder. She smiled and the heat around them increased slightly. " Of course I will," She said stepping over the line of the heart carefully walking towards him, the making little sound. Or maybe it was just the heat rushing through her, blocking out all other sounds. she looked up at him "did you really think I would ever say no? she murmured teasing, then she looked into his eyes, and awaited what was coming next. 0 players like this post! (Okay, XD) Skipper | Male | Delta Male | SSP | 4 years Mentions: None Skipper splashed into the water, letting out a yelp of joy. It sent sprays of water in every direction, and he was immediately soaked to the skin. Instead of the heavy weight of his fur annoying him, he just grinned and ducked his head under the surface. He held his breath as he swam further below. A fish swam past, moving swiftly to get away from the wolf. Skipper responded by chasing it, his legs quickly dog-paddling after it. Even though he was an excellent swimmer, the fish was easily able to get away from Skipper's paws. Not feeling too bad about his loss, he swam back to the surface, sucking in a healthy breath of air. He paddled to shore, shaking out his fur. He dropped down on the shore, eyeing the cool blue water. He had always felt more alive and more at home in and around water; was that normal for a wolf? Eh, probably not. But Skipper didn't care. He just pricked his ears and let the soothing sound of waves lull him. == Angel | Female | Hunter | FEP | 3 years Mentions: Serkahri, Tundra, Belle Angel was crouched low, her blue eyes locked on the squirrel up ahead. But even while she knew she should be concentrating, she couldn't stop her mind from wandering down a different path. She hadn't had a long conversation with her mate in a while - mostly because she had been so busy hunting. It would be great to see him and the pups again, to really sit down and talk like they used to. Their absence had made her heart pang in sadness, and she just couldn't stand it. In her distraction, she stepped on a flyaway leaf on the ground. The squirrel twitched its head, its dark eyes locking on Angel's sleek coat before turning and racing away. With a snarl, Angel rushed after it. Her teeth were right about to snatch it up when it raced up a tree, its brown fluff tail disappearing as it hid on a branch. "Argh!" Angel howled in frustration, lifting on her hind legs and staring up the tree. "Get back down here!" The squirrel, obviously, didn't listen to her command. With a sigh, Angel dropped back down on all fours. That's what she gets for not paying attention. Maybe the best way to calm her whirling thoughts was to head straight to the cause. She lifted her head, hoping to reach her mate. Their speaking has been long overdue. 0 players like this post! Like? Edited on 30/11/15 @ 23:59:14 by Saeginko (#34696) |
