(Okay, cool. And I look forward to it; plus I can see why it's hard to take a dripping wet wolf that had recently been pissed on by a small female wolf just moments ago seriously.) 0 players like this post! Like? |

Kiba // Male // Warrior // 4 years // FEP Kashi // Female // Huntress // 4 years // FEP ((Skipping over into the next day or later in the night, because I have no idea how to continue on with this banter without it being weird for others to read. So.... they Raven and Kiba have now mated and the scent of heat should no longer be in the air.)) Only the low crunch of the frosted grass gave away his movement. Passing back and forth along the edge of the clearing. silver ears twitched in high alert, not because of any tangible danger but because of the overwhelming protectiveness flowing through him. Looking over at the laid out bundle of black fur, Kiba passed even faster. Raven was a splendid sight, asleep on grass that their shared body heat had covered from the snow. It was laughable to see her with part of her side covered in the fluffy white snow. All of it was picture perfect to Kiba and stressing all the same. If they indeed do have pups on the way, then Kiba wanted to supply them with only the best. There was no way in hell Kiba ever wanted to run a hole pack... but leading the protection of one was appealing. With a pack so few in number, the appeal only grew. Setting suns would have the space for pups to become whatever they wanted. Mind set, Kiba stopped his passing of the clearing and set out hoping to speak with Rajat before he left the area and if all went well Kiba would be collecting Raven and joining him. Assured his scent was strong around the lake where Raven slept, Kiba speed up racing on long legs to camp. Breaking the tree line, he slowed and tried to settle himself before trotting to the last pace he knew Rajat could have been. Outside the healers den, Kiba was not surprised to see Kashi. She had been spending less time talking to him and more inside the shadow of Rahese and Nova. Kiba was shocked to see her blue eyes pop open, having assumed she was sleeping. He stopped when she stood coming face to face to with him. "Looks like your time of year is hear, a Snow?" Testing the water with a light joke. After all their last conversation was more growling than speaking. She could hear him long before he was in view of the den. The failings of a warrior like Kiba were harsh crouching footfalls. She took pride in freezing him in place when her eyes snapped open. Looking at him with the beginnings of winter fur crawling in, Kashi was sure she must look similar. When she stood she was just as tall with only a few shades difference in her fur. It was the only thing keeping Kashi from calling him something like that god awful nickname Kiba called her. "Hunting will be less of a game but playing in the snow will be fun." Giving the light snow a kick, Kashi returned the playful banter. Playing in the snow between them was a game of skill. Kiba could use his gift to seek her out, but Kashi was so white and skilled at hiding from prey and predators that it was useless. More often than not he lost and Kashi would get first pick for dinner that night. "You seemed in a hurry. Would that have anything to do with the heavy scent of Raven on you? Will I be an auntie soon?" She teased rubbing along his side and nipping at him. Despite Kashi's teasing, Kiba stood proudly and let her nip at him. "If the gods play in our favor, then yes you will be an auntie." turning to look at her over his shoulder he gave a wink. "I see your staying close as ever to Rahese and Nova. Tell me who really has your attention?" This question got him a sharp bite to the rear, making him jump away from her and into the entrance of the den. Kashi was more bold than Kiba last remembered. "I'm going to forget you ever said that!" She howled at Kiba, while stalking into the healers den with him. Taking a seat far from both Nova and Rahese as not to encourage the teasing. Kiba on the other hand stopped soon after entering. Unsure of what to say to those inside, he settled for "Hello Nova, Rahese, Alpha Rajat." He wondered if anyone else felt awkward. Kiba sure did, but e held his ground and walked over to join his sister. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Should I age Calyx up more..I aged him up 2 months instead of one but I'm feeling kind of left behind...but on the other hand I want to develop his character and his relationship with his adopted mother and the other pack members...don't know! Whats your peoples opinion??? Nova | 5 years, 9 months | Female Healer | Falling Embers In one of the many back branches of the healer’s cave lay Nova’s personal den.To the right side on a shelf lay a few interesting feathers and rocks most of them holding beautiful colors and some as dull as the dirt. Above that shelf lay quite a few bones mostly rib and leg bones of various creatures , carvings spread across every available surface speaking of forgotten stories, herbal lists and a record of Nova’s past life and thoughts. The highest shelf held a sturdy ancient branch embedded in the rock where there had once been dirt...it served as a perfect perch for Ro who sat there, head under feathers as he slept. In the middle of the den lay a bed of live moss with the hide of a black bear cub pelt on top of which Nova currently slept. If one looked to the left they would see a tiny stream of water entering and leaving a large puddle, for a lack of a better word. It was full of clear fresh water and was the source of nutrients to several unidentifiable plants that lay on the farther ‘bank’ of packed dirt. Cave creatures, perhaps moss or some kind of bug, covered the ceiling and some walls giving off a slight blue glow giving one the impression that they were outside under the night sky. Behind Nova and her bed lay a small dark cave that would serve as an a escape route in an emergency. Most wolves within the pack did not boast such a personalized den and most did not know were Nova’s den was even located, in the confusing maze of caves that branched from the healer's den. Over the past few years Nova had allowed herself to personalize this little cave as her skill and reputation grew within the pack. Caught within a deep sleep that had not broken with the rise of the sun Nova uncurled restlessly legs moving as a dream or perhaps faded memories rose to the surface no longer blocked by the sheer amount of exhaustion nor blocked by Nova herself who had not had an uncomfortable or nice dream since she had taken Tyrin as her mate so long ago. Water….so cold and fast tumbling around her pushing her dunking her. A howl in the distance, several howls...cries of sadness, loss and denial. Back to the surface...a flash of dark color, a black wolf? Older but still an adolescent...her brother?? But she did not have any blood relatives...eyes locked, Nova’s glowing blue with her brother’s startling turquoise...a plea,a farwell, a promise. Paddle, Paddle...Nova saw her paws cutting through water but she was only a pup, a runt at that and to small to make any progress. Yet despite this she kept trying long after the strange dark wolf had been lost from sight and the howls of many...familiar?...wolves had faded. She kept trying fighting to the surface each time she was lost under the waves of the river...she watched as snowy forested mountains changed into rolling hills and meadows, than forest once again only without mountains this time. She was giving up..paws stopped moving muzzle lowering..eyes closed, dark. Unable to breathe, a poke in her side...hacking and feeling water rise from within her. A terrible pain on the side of her head...opening her eyes and looking up into the golden gaze of an elder wolf his pelt a startling mix of gold and red. “Now where could you have come from??” His gaze was stand-offish but the gentle way he nudged her was oddly honest. Where had she come from? Searching for the memory Nova came up only with a black hole and an increased throbbing on the side of her head….She did not know were she had come from...or who she was. Nova turned over with a low growl lost within her dream. Calyx | 4 Month | Male pup Calyx had been elated if confused the night before when the female had accepted him into her den. He had been confused by her words...he as a pup and she the beta of this pack, it seemed logical that he should not meet her eyes and should lower his head when he spoke to her. But she had told him that he had no reason to and this the pup did not understand...he had been taught to always know his place as a dependent and the weakest part of his pack. Therefore he had been taught to bow his head and not meet eyes...it would have been even more preferable if he had taken a submissive pose, but instinct went against that. Now Calyx slowly opened his eyes the morning light seemingly diluted, but still painful as it flashed against his eyes. Shutting his eyes tightly Calyx resisted the urge to go out and play in the snowfall that had fallen during the long night. But that would be dangerous...the pup did not know if his father was still in the camp, nor did she know pack rules for pups. Mind made up the little runt snugged closely into the side of the wolf he was increasingly becoming to see as an adoptive mother.. Rajat | 5 Years,2 Month | Setting Sun | Alpha Male Rajat had been restless all night though his body had stayed perfectly still...his anger had made it impossible to sleep. That small female, the healer who had finally cleaned up Madjaster, had then looked outside and had ordered both himself and the lead warrior of his pack that they were unfit for travel during this sort of weather. Rajat would have shown the scrap of fur right then and there that now wolf could order him to do anything…(she had not even acknowledged his presence when she had declared he could not leave which only fueled his anger) but Rahese had been watching him with a golden gaze and Rajat knew that other wolves were not far behind….why did they allow the healer such freedom and authority? She was obviously a runt and though she had an apparently cunning mind she did not have any particularly lethal power that would make up for her size. The only power she seemed to possess was the lighting up of the stars on her pelt, beautiful but useless in the alpha’s mind. He had stayed the night often waking as anger worked through him making it impossible to completely rest and always looking up to see Rahese and Kashi on guard. Finally though, the dawn had come and the male was on the move. Rising Rajat gave Rahese a perfectly executed bow.”I believe it is finally time for me to leave, warrior. Goodbye.” Rajat turned away from the warrior deep in thought...that one seemed to be attached to the healer in some way and the healer would undoubtedly be the key in the spring war. Unless one joined his pack soon it would be very important to make sure this Nova was nowhere to be found. Despite knowing that getting a healer of his own was much preferable Rajat could not stop the hope that the Setting Sun’s did not gain a healer...for no other reason other than Nova had severely angered him...such a runt should not have survived anyway..she would have to watch her step. Walking toward the entrance, Rajat came face to face with Kiba and noticed the way the male searched for the den and seemed to have found what he had been looking for in the alpha. “Kiba will undoubtedly escort me and the rest of my pack to the border.” Rajat looked to Kiba and at the same time hoped that Jarisol was still present...the alpha did not trust Nova’s healing job an inch. 0 players like this post! Kina-Loner Kina woke, snow covering the entrance of her resting place. She lay for a few more minutes before getting up. She stretched, and let out a yawn. The chilled morning air filling her chest and nostrils. She smiled to herself. She didn't like winter, it was harder to move, but it did make for good practice. And living on her own, she has learned many skills. She could heal pretty well, hunt very well, and her senses were out to the extreme. She walked out of the abandoned den she had found, and into the snow. She felt the freezing white stuff melt into her fur, and couldn't help but let out a quick shiver. She started walking away, looking for prey to knaw on. There wasn't anything too close, the wolves from before must've scared them off. She diverted from hunting, to find out who the other wolves were. She started in their direction. Mentions- N/A Open Other- I don't have much for Jarisol, so I don't really want to make a post. If you want him, the night before he had created a "den" for himself out of shadows to protect him from snow and most winds. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Raven|Female|Headhuntress|Falling embers|Mentions: Kina and Kiba She awoke, her eyes letting in the light of the new day. She looked around, not seeing Kiba, but his sent was everywhere. She figured that he must be close by. She didn't feel different, but she also know that she wouldn't feel different for a month or so. She stood and stretched shaking the white down that had developed on her fur. Then she tested the air once more, and she looked around, she smelt a stranger, a female by the sight smell of her. She frowned, the pack sent not on her, she must be a loner. The sent on her traveled through the crisp winter air, and Raven loped off, following it. She stuck her noes in the snow, when the sent disappeared, the new snow had covered the sent. She frowned once more, and looked around for the sign of the loner. when she found none, she called out, hoping that she was near by. "Hello?" she called softly, moving unknowedly towards Kina. "Hello? Is anyone out there? 0 players like this post! Like? |

Rahese | Male | 5yrs 9mnths | Lead Warrior The brute lifted his head wearily as the rival alpha rose to his paws, suspicion flickering in the brute's eyes as the male offered him a deep bow. Ears twitching at his words, he offered a silent nod in response, far too tired to retort in the fashion he desired to -- as, in truth, the warrior had not slept a wink throughout the night. Instead, he had remained vigilant, gaze passing gradually to and fro between the heavily falling snow and the strange wolves that had been forced to lay their heads in rest upon Nova's command. Rahese simply could not have the peace of mind to leave the den, or even shut his eyes with the two in the very heart of their territory -- especially with Nova and the pups sleeping elsewhere in the cavern. Well, mostly the pups, he corrected himself with a brief snort. The little healer hardly required -- er, deserved his help. Still, even exhaustion could not still his hostility as the pathetic mutt passed him by, trailing after his leader. Lips curling, his limbs stirred, forcing his form promptly to his paws. Tail lashing, all courtesy or etiquette forgotten, he even paid no mind to his own injury as he snapped at the male's haunches, fangs just missing the fur. "Snow has fallen outside, you sorry excuse for a warrior -- your blood will spill so beautifully against the white. Don't let those clumsy paws of yours fumble beneath you, else I will be there to make sure you don't rise when you fall." Sneering at the brute, he retreated to his previous position, gently settling himself to the floor. As he lowered his head, the brute found himself only lifting it once more, swinging his attention toward the near-collision of Rajat and Kiba near the entrance of the healer's den. His expression initially depicted his displeasure with the idea -- Kiba had been notably absent in recent days, spending far too much time hanging around in the forest doing who knew what. The lead warrior himself suspected it had to do with the scent of female wolf all over his pelt, but that didn't relieve him, nor settle his annoyance. Even if he was entangled with his mate, a wolf still had duties he had to commit to -- namely patrolling, warrior as he was. Especially when Rahese himself wasn't allowed to do so. Ears dipping in displeasure, he nodded to his subordinate all the same -- escorting the rival wolves back to their hovel was an important job, and one Kiba could certainly be trusted with. In all honesty, he should also tag along... and he abruptly decided that he would, rising to his paws and striding toward the two. "I will also accompany you," he stated, leaving no room for negotiation. It was an ideal opportunity -- Nova was sleeping and couldn't stop him from going on patrol, and he could observe these wolves simultaneously. Pleased with this decision, he passed his gaze between the two, disregarding Madjaster completely as he waited for the escort to proceed. Iah Cehka | Female | 4yrs 6mnths | Beta Female The female awoke with a start and a gasp, gray eyes flying open to reveal -- nothing but blackness. Stone pressed against her haunches, and she made to stir -- to yelp and to panic, fleeing her confines in a flurry of frantic fur. As a tiny, warm pelt pressed securely against her own, however, she froze, ears flattening to her skull and breath puffing shakily. A familiar scent met her nose, and after a brief moment, the pale light of dawn lit the den in a faint glow, her eyes finally adjusting to the semi-darkness. A couple paces away, the nest of feathers she had formed lay jumbled and empty, the wispy material tugged gently by the outside air. Where's Calyx she thought blearily, before her gaze lazily traced downward, her mind suddenly recalling the presence that rested against her body. Meeting the sight of the silver-striped fur mingled against her own, the she-wolf let out a gentle sigh, the fluttering of panic finally draining from her chest at the sight of the little pup. They were both safe, nestled within her den, and uncomfortable as she was in such a compact space, she couldn't fathom moving. The last thing the pup needed was a disturbance in his sleep -- especially to wake up pressed against the side of a wolf he seemed to fear. Ears wavering, Iah turned her attention to the outside, peering at the sliver of clouded sky that was framed by the entrance. A shallow layer of snow had blown its way into the den, and the female had to admit that it was rather cold -- no doubt the reason the pup had shifted in the night, though she half-way wished it was something more. At least the storm had faded, for now. Whether or not the storm between the two packs had halted, however, she did not know. Had the visiting wolves left, or remained, burdened by heavy slow fall and the injuries that laced their pelts? She wished for the latter as her gaze dropped once more to the small male. As long as Rajat remained, it would not be safe for him to emerge -- but at the same time, she was loathe to leave him alone, especially in such a cold den. Snorting indecisively, she finally rested her head against the cold stone, breath puffing mist from her maw. Whatever the case, nothing would be done until Calyx had risen from his slumber. (Enjoy these poopy posts. xD They're not very good, I'm sorry. On the bright side, I'll (finally) be posting for Ignis Fatuus again, and that's bound to be better, with any luck. Though I may be the only one excited about that... xD) 0 players like this post! Like? |

Madjaster and Ravnilo: Madjaster simply snorted as Rahese ignored him, and followed Rajat out of the territory. How wonderful it would be to finally see his own pack's territory again, even though it has only been one night since. And he needed to bathe again. As he finally arrived at the Setting Suns Pack territory he quickly bathed in one of the rivers in it. A few minutes later, he came out and shook his pelt out. It had been a while since he had done that. Then something unsettling came to his mind. Where was Daphne and Rainar? "Rajat.... I smell Daphne and Rainar, but not in our territory, and it leads to a different direction." he stuttered. Ravnilo woke up again, yawning. Well, time to start with Raven again. Attempting to find her by scent, he was finally led to her. But when he saw her, he noticed that her heat scent was gone. And she seemed to be pregnant... "Raven, where is your heat scent? And why are you pregnant?" he growled, then taking it back. Of course she was pregnant, Kiba and Raven had gone to the lake to mate! No wonder Kiba had chased him off. 0 players like this post! Ignis Fatuus | Male | 3yrs, 2mnths | Loner When it came to matters of life and death, even the slowest of wolves could recognize when the latter was upon them. And Ignis Fatuus was no dumb wolf. Paws dragging across the snow as if a heavy weight were burdened upon them, the russet male trudged on, head no longer dropped by curiosity, but from sheer weakness. Even through his thick winter pelt, his ribs poked to the surface, betraying the fact that he couldn't even recall his last meal. His initial ability to hunt for himself was not the problem, but the barren landscape certainly was -- he hadn't even crossed the trail of an elk herd in weeks, though it wasn't like he would've been able to do anything if he had found one. The snow was pristine and white, marred only by the paws that dragged forcefully through it, only further exhausted by the resistance it posed. There were no tracks, not even the faintest whisper of a hopeful scent... he was not a fool. Wolves were built for winter, with nary a snow flake melted upon their insulating pelts, nor their snowshoe-like paws allowing them to drop through a thick layer of snow -- but wolves were not built to be alone. He had risen early that morning -- before dawn, in fact -- coated in a multitude of snow flakes. Why he had arisen so prematurely, he couldn't fathom, though the greatest suspect was the massive cramps of hunger his stomach knotted into. Whatever the case, the lone male did not rise rested, but was unable to fall back asleep. So, with not even a hint of hope remaining in his chest, he moved, each paw step undoubtedly leading him ever closer to his own demise. Why he bothered was also a mystery to him, but it was simply his nature. His body was running on empty, yet it ran all the same, and who was he to stop it? He would tread this territory until he could tread no more -- there was no disputing that. In fact, there was no energy left for disputing in the first place, his movement absorbing every ounce of available concentration. Senses dulled, he even neglected to recognize the landscape around him. Or so it was, until his maw suddenly burned with pooling saliva, activated by the scent caught by his twitching nose. Immediately, his head snapped upward, eyes probing desperately across the expanse, He went utterly still, only the tip of his black nose betraying him as he waited and watched -- and caught movement, in the field of vision to his right. Ever so slowly angling his vision in that direction, he stared long and hard -- until it moved again, forcing his ears to stand erect upon his skull. A hare, patched brown and white as its winter pelt grew and shifted shades, hopped lazily across the snow, even its small body sinking into the fluffy snow somewhat. It seemed concentrated, moving its forelegs to scratch hastily at the snow before moving on to a nearby section. Perhaps it was seeking out food, or perhaps even a warren that had been buried by the storm -- frankly, Ignis didn't care. Unless it involved getting that tasty morsel into his gullet, that is. Eagerly, he stepped forward, his exhaustion and clumsy paws immediately betraying him. The hare froze and shot a glance back toward him, before shooting off at top speed, whatever it had been looking for hastily forgotten as it fled. Not about to lose his prey, the loner bolted after it, keeping it in sight by locking his eyes upon the wisps of remaining brown fur that patched its otherwise pristine pelt. Almost immediately, his legs protested, aching fiercely as they did so. His muscles lacked sustenance and rest, and the chase had him dropping father and farther behind the prey animal. Jaws snapping in frustration, male pushed and pushed, paws churning up clouds of snow as he tried to turn and weave about trees as the rabbit did, not allowing any obstacle to impede his progress. There was one obstacle, however, that he most fiercely regretted ignoring. As the rabbit fled across a narrow sheet of ice, the wolf relentlessly pursued it, paws slipping and scrambling and -- falling, he was falling! Air rushed from his lungs as the earth dropped from beneath him, dumping him bodily into the freezing water of the pond below. His head submerged, a cloud of bubbles erupted from his muzzle, and he choked as his body pleaded for oxygen. Kicking fiercely, he successfully bumped into the underside of the ice, the impact unfortunately driving him away. Still, he attempted again, strokes becoming rapidly weaker as the remaining energy -- heat -- was leeched from his body. With the second attempt luck extended a helping hand, and his head burst from beneath, a gargling wail of fear immediately sounding from his throat as he splashed across the surface. Breath hauled into his lungs, burning and aching and so so cold, and his forepaws met the side of the ice. Clawing desperately, the ice crumbled beneath his abuse, making him lose purchase and have to discover it once more. Cold bit at his limbs, feeling and heat climbing away and into his core to keep him alive. At last, his paws met the shore, and with a heave originating from the sheer base instinct of survival, he was out. Shivers wracked his body, and he immediately fell onto his belly, legs far too weak and wobbling to support his weight. Another vocalization rose from the small wolf, this time a piercing whine as his muscles cramped painfully from the cold, struggling fruitlessly to raise his body temperature. It was only a few moments, however, before the wolf stopped shivering altogether -- his body so cold that his brain couldn't recognize the need to warm up. Panting and whining, he dragged himself further away from the water, though he didn't make it far before he had to stop again. A numbness spread across his body, and any further movement of his limbs was impeded by lack of feeling -- hypothermia setting in at a horrifying rate, the ruthless environment holding no form of reconciliation. Body heat failing, his head wavered and dropped down toward his paws, though he forced his head to bob awkwardly back up, battling the inevitable. He remained this way for what seemed like hours, head dropping and bobbing, the faintest of whines piercing the silence around him. And before him, stood the patched rabbit, mocking him with its quavering nose and black eyes. Lip peeling back, he growled at the apparition -- before his head finally dropped once more, and this time, there was no moving it. His breathing stuttered awkwardly, and slowed... and slowed... and stuttered. Like the lighting of a match, flames burst into life across the male's entire body, the heat reducing the snow beneath him to liquid as it spiked and twisted, so fierce and hot that it even singed the ground below. His power, finally sensing his distress, had summoned itself, and rose his body heat so rapidly that he shot to his paws, yelping in fear as pain erupted across his form. So quick was the temperature change that burns scalded beneath his flaming pelt, saving him but simultaneously injuring as it did so. Ignis didn't seem to care as much for the pain, however, as the terror it elicited inside of him. Spinning in circles, he snapped at the flaming tendrils, the heat thankfully having no affect on his similarly aflame visage. Pitched barks came with the vicious flurry of snapping, and a mixture of smoke and steam flooded his vision as the fire burned and the snow melted, making him stumble and stagger awkwardly as he tried so desperately to put out the flames. Though partially under his control, fire was something that could never truly be tamed; it displayed itself as such upon him, burning as fiercely and as wildly as a real flame would in its desire to keep its master -- and, by extension, itself -- alive. Eventually satisfied that the threat of freezing to death was now gone, the fire slowly tapered off, though a few stubborn tufts remained. The male did not stop snapping, however, until even those had flickered out. Sides heaving in exhaustion, he looked upon himself in disgust -- his pelt as black as coal, totally unrecognizable in comparison to its typical russet. Indeed, the whole of it had lit aflame, forcing the colouration change that he so despised -- perhaps in the mere association of the event. Allowing the fluttering of terror to finally stutter to a halt in his chest, Ignis gave his dark pelt a few gentle licks, trying not to irritate the burns that had risen upon his skin. It was not an unusual injury for him, even though his own flames tended to refrain from causing him pain -- in fact, he had had far more than his fair share of them. Breath puffing mournfully into the cold air, the small wolf put the event behind him as quickly as possible and -- unbeknownst to him -- stepped over the border into Falling Embers pack territory. 0 players like this post! Raven|Female|Headhuntress| Falling Embers She looked in disgust at ravnilo, then she turned her back to him, she had other things to worry about other that him. He had the worst timing in the world, and his words make her turn around and stalk towards him, she could see the nasty claw marks that she had made on him from the other day, and she couldn't help but be happy at that. she struck out at him again, her claws slashing, not caring if she hit him or not, " You don't know I'm pregnant or not, no one does, because not even me will be able to tell for some time," she hissed, not quite sure why she was angry, maybe it was the fact that he was a weak, sniveling coward. Or maybe it was because he had pressured her into mating with him, what ever the reason she had had enough of him in her air, she wanted him gone. " So mind your own life and not mine and get out of my space or I will rake your pelt off," her voice was hard and cold, she was done, and Kiba wasn't here to save her, so she figured he would have to learn that she could take care of herself. She stalked away, following the sent of the loner that she had caught but moments ago, but she had lost it. Growling frustrated and angry she loped off, leaving Ravnilo before he could answer her. she moved all the way to the border, and through some luck she picked up the sent of another wolf, and fire. She frowned, the two smells usually didn't mix well. The sent was weak and as she followed it she had trouble picking it back up when it faded. Her shadows helped her a little, and she soon found the wolf in question. He looked like her, black fur, but he smelt of fire, something that had been burned. She called over to him, "Hello?" she called taking a tentative step towards him. her body language non threatening, but cautious. "My name is raven, may I ask what you are doing on the territory of the falling embers?" 0 players like this post! Like? |

Kiba // Male // Warrior // 4 Years // Fallen Embers Pack > Setting Suns Pack Stopped on the way to Kashi’s side, he came face to face with Rajat. Well nearly face to face with the alpha seeing as the other was by far larger. Rajat was also leaving an ‘out’ for Kiba. A way to leave without everyone knowing his business. Kiba was more than willing to latch on to that offer and run with it. So he nodded his acceptance even though it wasn’t needed. He would have had to escort the group even if he wasn’t changing packs. Kiba hadn’t seen hide or tail of any of the other warriors and Rahese was indisposed almost all of the time. Sometimes he wondered if a wolf so strong and smart was really injured like that. Or was Rahese just another male who would do anything to stay close to the fae of his affections? It wouldn’t surprise Kiba if so, the ‘Great’ Rahese was still a male after all. Said brute was snapping something at Madijaster and it Had Kashi giggling in the background. Something he should feel privileged to hear. But that was neither here nor there and Kiba turned his eyes back on the alpha in the room. ”There is still a light snow in the air, best to leave before it picks up again.” Moving from the den entrance to give Madijaster a large area to move around in. The last thing Kiba wanted was to fallow the mute but if Madijaster walked ahead of them then Kiba would be able to speak with Rajat. All plans were dashed though when Rahese got up once again saying he would join them. Kiba for a moment bristled, he held himself back though. ”Alright then, lets go.” Kashi // Female // Huntress // 4 years // FEP Rahese may have been completely serious, but Kashi still couldn’t hold back a laugh as he nipped at Madijaster heels. Kashi wondered sometimes if he was all bark and no bite. She had never seen him really fight and other than a few growls and sneers he was harmless to her. Once the giggling had ended, Kashi made her way to the front of the den. Setting a chastising look over Rahese, pointedly looking at his wound before ushering everyone out. ”I’ll be sure to tell Nova your goodbyes over breakfast. Please travel safe, boys.” She called slipping away to the other side of camp and out to the forest. With similar color to the white powder on the ground, Kashi blended in perfectly. Snow was her ally but it made hunting less of a challenge for the fae. Snow had a distinctive crunch like fallen leaves but with her coloring prey would look right through her. Even with her blue eyes peaking out at them, it would be hard to view her. This was her element and wolves like Raven and even little Belle would fall short out here. Winter was no place for a dark wolf to be. So swiftly had the weather changed that animals had a hard time keeping up. Like the little rabbits skipping around . They didn’t have the time to shed their winter fur and slip away to their winter sleep. They were easy pickings, ”But I need a large meal. Three pups and a stubborn healer to feed….” She trailed of leaving the bunny’s to their play. Sniffing at the ground and moving further out of the view of camp, Kashi dragged out her hunt. It would be to much to take on a large prey animal and her rubs pulsed just at the thought. Pausing in her thoughts, Kashi snapped her head up. Triggered buy the sound of crunching, her ears twitched and swirled. Frozen in place blending in with the snow and one pay lifted mid step, Kashi took in everything. Carful not to turn to suddenly she glanced to where the sound came from. The border of Fallen embers shrinking territory held a river. The crunching had been making of thin ice shifting. Breathing again, she unfroze and laughed to herself. ”I’m more jumpy than last time I hunted.” Walking to the water Kashi made up her mind that fish would have to do. The ice was thin and not hugging the banks so the task would be a watch and weight. It was late morning when Kashi had made her last trip back to camp. Another mouth full of plump trout to be set down in Nova’s den. There was ice forming around her snout and hoped that the joy on the pups face was as good as she pictured. Four trips and eight fish was all she had in her at the moment. She salivated around the fish ready for her own true taste of them, but she would wait. At the sound of footsteps not her own she froze again. Dropping the fish and turning to the border of camp where the river was. There was a form there. Distorted and smelling of chard fur, a scent that made Kashi’s head swim. Barking softly, Kashi alerted the thing to her presents. Knowing that sometimes she was nearly invisible to other predators. ”Hello?” She called now that with a closer look she could make out the form of a wolf and the smell of one under all the burned fur. Nova and the pups would just have to eat without her. Belle // Female // Pup // 6 Months // FEP Belle awoke startle, breath coming out in little puffs and unsettled gasps. She wasn’t sure what the dream she had was about. It was gone sooner than she could wake, like a fleeting flavor. It wasn’t fear she felt, not that she truly knew what it was. But it made her want her mama and to be far from her wasn’t helping. Leaving Tundra and their papa behind in the nursery, because they didn’t feel like home. Tundra was a sneaky little pup, always running off to play with the enemy and their Papa was to curled up in proving himself that he forgot about them. Standing up as gently as she could, Belle pushed away from the sleeping pair and dragged heavy paws along the dirt floor of the den. Taking its back halls out and around to the healers den. It was empty now that the others had left out for the day. Little ears fell back along her head as she searched for something. Sniffing and shifting through all the scents, she settled on one that made her feel comfortable. Being the only one left in the den, she fallowed it not concerned that she was trespassing on another’s personal space. Her eyes were already have closed by the time she found her way through all the winding passageways. The scent looped almost all over the place and Belle found her target more by luck than skill. Stumbling into the den and straight into the side of Nova. Dropping down on the bears fur and moss and nearly under the wolves side. Curling into the soft belly of the older female, Belle inhaled deeply while pressing her cold little nose and paws into the soft fur there. She hummed and just laid there. Belle figured that if wolves could claim mates than she could claim family members. Calyx was her brother now and Rahese a good toy. Why couldn’t Nova replace Angel? Who for most of her life had been away or asleep. Nova had seen more of Belle growing up than the pups own birth mother. Mentions: Rajat, Rahese, Nova, Calyx, Tundra, Madijaster, Ignis Fatuus, Angel, Serkarhi 0 players like this post! Like? |

Jarisol-Beta-SSP Jarisol had hid the night before as he waited for his alpha to be healed. When snow started falling, he created a hard shadow cover over him, protecting him from the wind and snow. He laid down on the hardened snow, not meaning to fall asleep, but did anyways. His night was full of dreams he couldn't recall when he awoke. He was awakened to multiple voices-- snarls and growls-- outside the healers den. Jarisol had quickly gotten rid of the shadows, and came out of hiding to meet his alpha. He had only heard faint words by the time he had gotten there, and missed the rest, so he stayed quietly, a little distanced from the other pack. An abundance of scents were all around. Heat remnants, fire, blood, honey, and more he decided to ignore. He nodded towards his alpha, waiting for the leave, if it were to come at any time. Mentions~ Rajat Kina-Female-Loner Kina heard a sound, and faced the direction it had come from. It was female, a wolf, most definitely. She walked towards it, but noticed the scent, also, had disappeared. She shrugged it off, and kept on walking. This was new territory, she hadn't been here before, so she didn't know what to expect. A scent of fire had filled the air. Kina didn't enjoy fire, she avoided whatever gave off the scent. She yawned. It was still early. What was she to do? Mentions~ Ignis, Raven Open Other Sorry for being inactive. LD only just came back to me today! Kina is open for approach, she is somewhere on the outskirt of the territory, anyone could stumble upon her. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Ravnilo and Madjaster: Ravnilo managed to dodge Raven's attack just in time. He could feel those claws raking his fur but not wounding him. Snarling, he said, "That is the last straw." He lashed out at Raven, striking her right eye with his claws. The smell of blood filled the air. Then deciding to get rid of the claws that wounded him, he struck out at one o the claws, attempting to tear out one or more. He wasn't even sure if he did now. Madjaster noticed Kiba behind him. "Why are you following me to my pack?" he growled. "Rajat, there's a wolf from the other pack following us, you know." he blurted out. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Skipper | Male | Delta Male | SSP | 4 years Mentions: None Skipper leapt up, shaking his head. He wondered what the pack was doing; it had sounded pretty quiet around him. Lifting his tail, he glided into the forest. It didn't take too long, but eventually he happened upon the camp. The scents of his comrades filled his nose, and he relaxed at the comforting presence of his pack. Being around them was as great as it was being around water. He trotted into the camp, letting out a bark of greeting to anyone who happened to be around. == Angel | Female | Hunter | FEP | 3 years Mentions: None Angel was unsuccessful in her quest to find her family. It was like fate was toying with her, not allowing her to get a scent of them. She slept for a night before continuing on her way to the camp. She stopped and tilted her head back, letting out a quick howl to alert the rest of the pack to her presence. Her tail wagged - this time, she wouldn't ignore her packmates just so she could go back out to hunt. This time, she would focus on her pack first, and not put hunting before them. She raced towards the camp, kicking up sprays of dirt under her paw pads. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Serkahri and Tundra (Tundra is now 10 months old): Serkahri awoke in the morning to a howl from that of only his mate, Angel, could do. "Lets find your mother, pups. She is lost somewhere." he explained to Tundra and Belle, and picked them up in his mouth by the scruff of their necks as if they were still young pups. He followed the howl for a long time until he saw Angel. "Angel... what are you doing so far away?" Serkahri asked, almost dropping the pups. "I'm not a young pup, father. Wait, mother? Why are you so far away?" Tundra asked. 0 players like this post! Like? |
