Saran/ Masculine // Warrior // Falling Embers

It had been some time since the male had made an appearance. 'Would it even be worth it?' Saran chuckled to himself though he wondered what had changed in the time that he was gone. Lifting up his snout, his featheres felt the vibrations of distant winds. And with the urge drilling in his veins, he took off and a large silhouette of a shadow painted below on the ground, from which he hovered over. Memories flooded in his mind. The warrior was getting himself ready for whatever he had to face when he returned.

It was still winter, and the males whiskers felt like they were frozen stiff. "Hmm" Sarans eyes traced the terrain below his body, and settled his paws to the earths crust. It was too cold to fly, even when he managed his strength, the freezing current winds would hit his face, giving him a headache from hell due to the lack of protection from the cold.

This wasnt his homeland of course. Saran was in the territory of Setting Suns. "Thats right. Daphne..." The male had to admit. She was daring, in a gorgeous type of way. Something about her was irrisistable. Though. There was nothing that ever went on between the two, as he had hoped would happen. All the brute needed to do was to move on, she probably already has done so. Trotting off the boundaries of Setting Suns Saran turned back, looking at the surrounding snow covered trees. Makeeras scent was strong in the distance, the male could tell her scent apart from any other fae. He had to respect her.

He slowly approached the kill pile. It was somewhat low, but it would do for now. The dire wolf stretched out his wings as he made his way to a den, his scent beginning to blend in with the others. Putting his head down, he settled to the earth and made up random scenarios to distract himself from the scent of females in heat. It wasn't hard to do for him, for he thought of poison.

Mentions:Makeera, Daphne
Approached: no one
Other: I can post at least once a day now :) mobile, woo. Sorry for my absence thank you for your understanding. My personal RP won't be up till I move. Yes, I'm having to move .-. It's a pain xD. In my post, the last sentence is a sign. It's basically Daphne. But, he's getting over her because she has probably moved on. Lmao, even though it was mostly Saran who awed her cx I'm open for approach. If you'd like. But i might keep distant and observe because i doing want anyone to be stuck with saran for a day. I might do little social actions though c:

Calyx | 4 Month | Male pup
At Iah’s encouragement Calyx jumped at the fish and bit into it….what an odd taste. At first Calyx looked at it with disgust backing away, then he stopped...it tasted kind of good actually. Sniffing the fish then biting into it again Calyx heard the crunch of bones then a sharp pain stabbed the inside of his mouth. Not having eaten or even seen a fish before the little pup did not know to remove any sharp bones. Wincing in pain Calyx pawed at his muzzle trying to get rid of the pain. Fortunately the violent shaking of his head shook the bone sliver free. Almost swallowing the little bone Calyx managed to cough it up before it got stuck in his throat. With a hesitant step Calyx started toward the fish again...his mouth hurt and he was not looking forward to trying to eat the fish again. How did these wolves deal with the bones? Were they so tough that they could eat it bones and all? Not wanting to eat the fish Calyx stepped forward hesitatingly nosing it...he did not want to offend the hunter nor did he want to seem weak to these wolves...he knew what would happen if they thought he was weak. Eyes shut tight the little pup opened his mouth in preparation for another bite of the fish.

Nova | 5 years, 9 months | Female Healer | Falling Embers | In Heat
Watching the wolves fade from view from the shelter of the trees and her power, Nova took a step forward then stopped, deciding to watch Rahese. No doubt he knew she was here from his sense of smell though it was unlikely he knew exactly where she was. As she expected Rahese did not turn to go back to the healer's den, stubborn brute. Instead he walked along the borders edge remarking the border with the scent of the pack. As he walked the male seemed to calm a little his fur standing a little less on end and his body language becoming more relaxed. Odd, Nova would have thought being by the border would make one on edge but it seemed to have the opposite effect on Rahese. Nova’s tufted ears twitched and changed direction as she thought over what she should do next. Officially she should probably get back to camp to help the wounded, for surely the wolves of this pack had managed to get themselves hurt in the short amount of time they had. This time though Nova found that she wanted a small break from the continuous strain of being a big and growing packs only healer, usually she would not have this urge, the art of healing being the most enjoyable at the time... the female could not remember the last time she had done something that appealed to her more. Now though she found the idea of walking and helping Rahese in his duties to be an oddly appealing option and she had just the excuse considering his recent escapede. Padding forward on soft paws Nova left the protection of the tree line the hail, wind and noise the two made buffeting her and making it harder to hear soft sounds. Releasing her first power as she came up beside Rahese, Nova looked at him silently metaphorical eyebrow raised. It would serve him right if she startled him and if she did not...well Nova was sure she would find a way to get her message across to him. Even now the male was risking his wound….it would be healed by tomorrow but it was still very vulnerable at the moment and the wind and especially the hail was endangering the wound. Nova winced at the thought of a chunk of ice hitting the once infected wound...even a piece of ice as small as the hail falling. Moving closer to the bigger wolf Nova made a silent point by placing her body close to the side that boasted the wound fur brushing his as she kept pace with the wolf, luckily she was not so short that she could not cover it.

Rajat | 5 Years,2 Month | Setting Sun | Alpha Male
Rajat was quiet as Sigi asked his questions….lavender eyes steadily looking forward as hail started to fall and the wind picked up. Silver reflective fur showed the white and gray world around the small group of wolves as it was buffeted by the wind sending light and shadows skittering at the alpha’s feet. “I suspect that the Falling Ember’s Pack does indeed own a source that helps their powers….an unusual amount of those wolves seem to have powers, and not useless powers but ones that should be respected. I do not yet know what this source does...but there's something definitely different about this area...already we are more well fed than any territory we have inhabited before.” Logical mind starting to click back into gear Rajat thought about that mysterious power source...he had hardly given it a thought but it had been the main reason he had brought his pack to this place...well other than. Heaving out a deep breath Rajat switched his thoughts to Sigi’s other questions.”Rainar is well as far as I am able to tell, I have not recently spoken to her. As for Madjaster...I kicked him out of the pack, he crossed me more than was wise and lost his position as well as his tail. And Calyx….Calyx is no longer with us. There was no sadness in Rajat’s voice as he spoke and even a hint of satisfaction. At that moment the small group of wolves finally reached the base of the Setting Suns pack. Shaped like a crescent moon was an indent in the side of the mountain bearing several different dens...above the crescent sat a flat boulder and behind the bolder another den, obviously the alpha’s. Lavender eyes quickly looked over the wolves, noting the presence of several loners, one seemingly burnt to a crisp as well as Kiba, to Rajat’s surprise. Daphne stood in the middle her pose dominant and her face showing how unpleased she was after such a development. Huge paws easily making a path through the snow Rajat brushed against his mate making sure the other wolves knew that she was HIS. Turning his attention to the other wolves the huge silver wolf tilted his head as he studied them…”I see you all heard my message.”

Saran/ Masculine // Warrior // Falling Embers

Saran lay rested in his den, watching as the snow fell to the earth in front of him. "Winter is not always the best season." The male frowned and got up, stretching out his legs, he opened his wings as he exited the den. His fur had grown thicker, stars being embedded deep into his coat. The harsh cold was starting to take its toll on the male. Though, he didn't mind it. As he paced out in the open, his paws dug themselves a grave with every step he took. A low growl erupted from his throat from annoyance. A sigh soon followed after he glanced back at the kill pile.

From what he knew, the largest prey still local was the grizzly. Most saw them as a predator. With the warrior's size, he saw him as a meal. Saran heard the crushing sound of bones nearby, the cause? A wolf pup was eating a fish, he looked like he was in pain and glared at the carcass with a hesitant understanding. A small chuckle arose and he smiled. Glaring at the tracks that the male had made, Saran turned away and began to walk away from the den area. The herds are long gone, and all that remains available to the other wolves are rodents, fish, and small prey.

Saran flickered his ears, and directed them to any sounds of movement . In his heart, he knew that there was a large beast sleeping the winter off of its shoulders. With a twitch of his lip, he went on. There was much to explore, to guard. It didn't take long to find a bears den, the only problem was, it was empty. There was no trace life on the inside, but a few spiders and frost covered bones. "Abandoned.." Saran whispered to himself and snatched a bone in his jaws, something to eat while he seeks his destination. The male walked around the snow, settling down he gnawed at the bone, his teeth scraping and denting the surface. Traces of marrow where still located on the inside of it.

Getting up, he left the yellow colored bone in the snow, and walked more, his paws aching from the snow flakes he stepped on. In the distance, you could hear small vibrations of movement. Movement of a sleeping beast. The warrior was use to this sound. When he was alone, he would often strike when his prey was asleep. A foolish move in his opinion. He stepped forward and made his way to the source. As he drew close, Saran could feel the heat bounce off the sides of the den. This scent smelt female... but she was alone which was good.

Arriving at its resting den, the brute slowly paced himself towards the den entrance, and peeked inside. His pupils adjusted to the dark light and what he saw surprised himself. A lone female, she was fat, full of food due to the fact that she had just began to sleep. The only thing that bugged him was her size. She was small compared to most bears he had seen. 'How long would she last the pack?' He cocked his head to the side.

'If I wake her, she will be angry , furious... ' he thought to himself and his face went blank. It didn't really matter, Saran had the advantage of flying, and he was determined.

Mentioned: Calyx, Falling Embers Pack.
addressed: no one in particular, a bear.
actions: seeking out food for the pack.

Serkahri//Male//Omega Male//3 yrs, 2 months//FEP, Tundra//Male//Pup//10 months//FEP, Pup//Male//Pup//10 months//FEP, and Makeera//Female//Alpha Female//3 yrs, 4 months//FEP:

Serkahri woke up, as well as Tundra and Pup. "You pups wait here, I'll bring Belle. We need to have a talk." Serkahri informed the pups, and set out of find Belle. Eventually, he did. "Belle, please come back to the healer's den. I must talk to you about something." "Ugh, I hope it isn't 'The Talk.' He already told me and my sister." Tundra sighed. "Why would he have it again, then?" Pup asked. "I don't know. It better not be though." "What is this talk, anyway?" "You know, that mushy lovey-dovey stuff that disproves that magical bird theory with pups and all that." "Ohh, yeah! That. At this point, I hope not as well..." "All pack members of Falling Embers Pack! I have a special announcement that the Elemental Wolves have sent out for me to inform you about. The Zetas are coming back!" Makeera howled, loud and clear. A Zeta was one of the 5 wolves that protect the pack from any outpackers that crossed the border. If one did, then a Zeta, or the Zetas, were to chase it out, or if it didn't give way, kill it. It had been years since new Zetas have been picked. But this time, it was needed.

(Yep, introducing a new rank! That's what Serkahri's gonna be talking about - the Zetas.)

Kina-Female-Loner
Kina swerved her head quickly as more wolves entered. All seemed to be male. When one rubbed up against the alpha female, Kina let out a low, menacing snarl. So you're the one that called us? She thought to herself. She took a stance where her paws were stretched out and staggered. Her head was closest to the ground, and her lips quivering, not from fear, but from trying to surpress an even more threatening snarl. Kina never encountered wolves, much less males, so this seemed natural to her. What she did know was that they were crude beasts. She took a step back. She could see all of the faces that had gathered. They were all different. Their sizes varied, too, from large to small. Another, quieter, snarl slipped. It was a defensive snarl, saying not to get close. If they did, she would attack. Kina's eyes bolted here and their looking over at all the wolves gathered.
Mentions- Wolves gathering in front of dens/SSP pack.

Saran/ Masculine // Warrior // Falling Embers

The male didn't know exactly how he would wake the grizzly, or really, when. His eyes traced the outline of the snoring mammal and ideas flooded into his mind. He wanted the animal to at least have a chance of survival, so attacking it while it was still in slumber was out of the picture. He felt pitiful, sitting in the enterence of the den, with his tail wrapped around his hind legs. Growls began to roll out of his maw, and Saran barked into the cold den, it echoed and bounced off of the walls, directly into the bears ears. Her head lifted up, a large black nose peered through the darkness as she let out a roar of annoyance as if to say your going to wish you hadn't done that.

Her claws scrapped against the stone pavement and the warrior backed up. Curling his lips back, Saran snarled, his posture stood high; and his tail raised to its maximum. The bears deep brown eyes were filled with feiry. She charged at the canine, though she was a little clumsy due to the fact that she had just woken up. The brute moved out of the way, jumping upwards he hovered over the bear as if taunting it. His orbs glared at the female in rage as she swatted the air above her. Flying a few feet ahead of her, he landed in the snow and charged into her chest. They were about the same size, though the dire canine was a little larger. This fight reminded him of how he use to play with his brothers, except the fact that he was actually trying to kill the beast.

He could feel as the air was knocked out of her lungs and released into the air, warm breath his the side of his neck. With his back paws, he locked them in place, or at least tried to. The snow managed to provide a slippery surface, in the result made him less secure. The bear wrapped her arms around the canine and was going to bite down into his neck. Luckily her paws grasped over his wings, and they were strong enough to be let out, making her grasp on him, no more. She seemed frozen in shock at the length of his wings, standing on two paws, the warrior saw a chance to strike. She knew his weakness, and he could see it in her eyes. With all of his weight, the male flung himself forward and knocked the bear over. He was careful to stay away from her mouth, in fear of getting his own bones crushed. He clamped a hold of her neck, his teeth ripping out her thick coat he shook it viciously.

The bear kicked her front paws against Sarans chest, clawing away his winter fur she reached the surface of his skin and he had felt her claws about to enter his body. He pivoted around her and continued to rip out her fur, though she had managed to get up. Clawing at her face, Saran and the bear both stood on two hind legs. There was enough fur torn off to probably tear her air tube and fill her lungs up with blood. Struggling to get free, the male snapped at her ear and cut off part of the top with his teeth. She grew angrier and caught saran off guard, clamping onto his wing, she bit down.

His eyes widened and his heart throbbed in pain. A loud, exhausting yelp lingered in the air. And could probably he heard for miles. Featheres were ripped out and blood dripped on the snow covered floor. She shook her head some and Saran tried not to lock his wings. Twisting around, he twisted his neck and locked his Jason the underthroat of the bear. She let go of his wing and his grip grew tighter. Saran could feel as his teeth broke the surface of the skin, and the taste of blood trickled on his taste buds. No matter the pain, his chest was filled with adrenaline and he dug as the females chest. He heard a crunch, and knew that he had managed to rip her air pipe. Though she had gotten to him too.

She grew restless, and her body landed on the floor, but he wouldn't let go. Every second he held on, he bit down tighter, trying to take his mind off of his own pain. The snow fell on top of both they're pelts. Sarans eyes closed as he felt the last breath of the beast exit its own body. He stumbled and fell to the earth covered with snow. His wing was broken, and he didn't know what to do but lay there.

He couldn't just sit there. Each passing second was critical to recovery. Standing up, his right wing dragged across the snow as he began to pull the bear home. He was miles away, and his strength had majorly decreased. When he arrived back at the den, he felt light headed. His mouth hurt from dragging the caracass back. But, he didn't want to risk loosing it. Setting it near the kill pile, he couldn't drag it anymore. Small whines could be heard as he rested himself near the bear. His chest stung against the cold snow. But he layed down. His right wing revealed itself, weakly leanining itself into Sarans fur. It couldn't hold itself up.

Mentions: no one.
approaches: no one.
actions: killed a bear and is wounded.

Other: he needs treatment

Iah Cehka | Female | 4yrs 5mnths | Beta Female

Iah watched in alarm as the pup nearly choked himself on a fish bone, only to stick his muzzle straight back in, eyes scrunched tightly closed. It was apparent that the pup hadn't encountered a fish before... and had no clue how to safely eat one. That didn't seem to deter him, however -- a resolute decision that may well kill him, if he managed to get another bone stuck in his throat. "Hold it right there," she instructed with a snort, stepping forward and nosing him from his path. Laying before the fish, she urged him closer with a beckoning bob of her head, before turning toward the task at paw. "There's no need to surge forward when something is dangerous -- you're just a pup; you're pretty much expected to ask for help. Now, watch closely." Biting into the fish, she locked her fangs upon a hunk of meat. Keeping her jaw loose, she gently pulled back, rending flesh from bone as delicately as possible. Once it was free, she dropped it in the snow, turning again to Calyx. "Bite into the fish, but use caution -- get the meat off before you try to eat it."
Abruptly embarrassed by her instruction, she stood, nudging the fish in the pup's direction. "Here, give it a try," she offered gently, ears tilted nervously as she glanced toward Kashi. But... no. She shouldn't feel this way, right? She was the beta female, after all, and this wolf was rank upon rank below herself. This of course, merited no less respect, but it was inappropriate of her to exhibit such weak emotions. Shaking off the feeling as best she could, she stepped toward the hunter, keeping a watchful eye on the small male as she did so. When she had spotted Kashi approaching initially, a question had risen in her mind -- only to be dashed away as food had been offered to them. However, there was no time to delay, no time to wait around and ask someone else -- it was something she needed to get over with as soon as possible. Dipping her head in an almost surreptitious manner, the beta met the white female's gaze. "Have you seen Nova anywhere?"

Rahese | Male | 5yrs 9mnths | Lead Warrior

The brute growled softly as none other than Nova herself appeared at his side, nearly scaring the fur from his hide. I should hardly be surprised. By her scent, it's apparent that she's been hanging around for longer than I can know, he mused to himself as his gaze met her smart-aleck own, the blue gleaming against the monochrome landscape. Puffing a billowing flow of mist from his muzzle, Rahese forced his heart to stop galloping -- the last thing he wanted her to know was that she had caught him almost off guard. If she found out such a thing, it would be near impossible to get her to shut up about it. Offering her a dismissive glare as she moved to cover his side, fur tickling against his own, he abruptly picked up the pace, using his longer legs to out pace her and batting her muzzle with his tail as he passed. Worried about his wound, was she now? How ridiculous -- the thing was almost healed, and save the stiffness in his side and the occasional twinge, it didn't bother him at all. A little harsh weather would hardly hold him back -- heck, if he ran into a mountain lion or a rogue on patrol, it wouldn't hold him back. The little puffball clearly underestimated his abilities... which was a significant mistake on her part. Not like I'll be showing her that she's mistaken anytime soon, he corrected with a quiet snort, glancing back at her. Not unless he collided with some trespasser, in which case he would make it clear without debate that he was fully healed and capable of any feat required of him.
Muzzle sticking to the snow, the brute trudged through the snow, large paws keeping him from sinking into the deeper snow now that the hail began to provide a crusty surface. Ignoring Nova for the most part, he absorbed the scents of the border as best he could, fighting through the bitter wind and the healer's heat scent proving to be rather difficult. It certainly didn't help that the border was so weakly defined, however -- only the markings of the Setting Suns gave him any kind of guidance, so strong in comparison that it seemed as though it was the only border marking present. "How annoying," he snarled to himself, resisting the urge to obliterate their markings with his own. Stalking into their turf, setting up their own territory borders, letting one of their subordinates kill off the -- admittedly, useless -- alpha male of FEP... damn, he was becoming furious once more. Shaking both snow from his pelt and thoughts from his mind, the warrior abruptly froze as a resounding yelp of pain echoed across the wind -- so loud that, even from a distance, it met his ears with little difficulty. Bristling, he whipped around, at last addressing Nova. "What in the name of the Elemental wolves was that?"

Ignis Fatuus | Male | 3yrs 2mnths | Loner

The male rose drowsily into awareness -- damp and cold against his pelt, pain layered across his skin, and... the scent of unknown wolves creeping into his nose. This didn't appear to be the place he had collapsed in... though whether he would even be able to tell was up for serious debate. His ears twitched as a menacing voice spoke nearby, preceded by the sound of massive paws traipsing across the soil.
Limbs quivering with difficulty, Ignis struggled to sit up, strangling down a whimper of pain as his burns roared to life at his movement. Still, he managed -- he wasn't about to miss what was going on, as it was certainly life or death. The sheer amount of wolves surrounding the area, however, hastily crushed any determination or bravery he had found. Especially the two in the middle -- so incredibly different in their size and appearance, but obviously the supreme leaders of the pack. Anxious, his gaze turned away from the two -- only to settle on a white female seated unnervingly close to himself. Her fur was a perfect cloud, white as the snow beneath their paws... except for a distinctly singed area -- an area Ignis immediately recognized as his doing. Ears dipping in guilt, he yet again tore his gaze away, focusing his gaze instead on his power-blackened paws.

(Re-defining the definition of "soon," haha.)

Raven|| Female || headhuntress || Setting suns || Mentions: Ignis, Setting suns pack, and Kiba.

She watched as the wolf ran away fire trailing after him. Her heart pounding she regained her footing, her eyes wide, scared. Fire was something she did not like. She could see the path he was taking, it was clear through the snow. He was heading to the Setting suns pack. She sighed, but he knew that she needed to go after him. He was sickly and unstable, and she had no idea how the other pack was going to treat him, he was weak, and she herself had no desire to nurse him back to health. But maybe if he pulled through, then he would prove himself to be a sting wolf, but that was only if he survived in the first place. Sighing again she trudges through he snow and made her way steadily to the Setting suns pack.

She passed the border line, the sent marked and fresh, she could smell the fire and not surprisingly Kiba. She knew that he was thinking about joining, and she was glad, she had been thinking the same thing, it would be good for them, and for their pups, well if she was caring any. Looking down at her belly, it was the same as before, but she knew that there was time involved. Moving over the sent line, she added hers to the mix, and lopping through the snow she made her way to base camp, determined to keep her family from burning at the paws of this evil wolf.

Rainar|| Female||Beta|| Setting suns|| In heat

She looked at the wolf with unwelcomed pride. Or maybe it was admiration? She could tell that he had been through so much and set himself on fire in the process. Yet he was still standing, and he wasn't dead yet, that was either luck, or pure will power. She dipped her self into the snow, rubbing her sides in the cool white. When she sat back up, black smudged around her, the black on her pelt reduced a little. She straitened up as Rajat approached, her eyes meeting his deadly violet ones. She could see the scorn and disgust,
maybe he would give her permission to kill this mutt after all, but did she actually want to anymore? He was a survivor, that was clear. Did she kill wolves that survived? If Rajat said she did, then she did. The question in his gaze was rather apparent, and she wondered if he knew how transparent he was sometimes. She herself kept her thought in check and emotions under lock and key. She couldn't remember the last time an emotion had seen the light of day. Except anger, he had a sun tan.
" He can sett himself on fire," she said, in answer to her alphas question, "A nasty trick, one that almost got my pelt smoking, thank goodness it was only singed," She angled her comment to the male wolf, "For his sake anyway." She stood her legs stretching, looking up at her Alpha she asked permission to leave, to get some food for the pack. A smell drifted in on the wind, her sister. No doubt coming for her mate, to join her rightful pack, the stronger one, the one that would survive. Another sent caught her attention, and she inwardly cringed. Her own heat sent. She should have seen it coming, she was a female, and this was that time of year. Her mind recoiled, it had been bad other years, males drawn to her. Only to get nasty scares and the inability to have any more pups after they met her. She highly doubted it would be different this year, love had never been something she was good at. The only way she would have pupps would be for the betterment of the pack, to bring sting healthy pups into the world to one day kill her and take her place as the beta position in the pack. But looking around her, she was no other males that shared that same goal. She assumed it would be like last year,

Calyx | 4 Month | Male pup
Watching as Iah striped the meat from the fish Calyx was excited to try it for himself. After she moved away the little pup took hold of the side of the fish in his teeth and tugged backwards. He succeeded in tearing flesh off but it was such a small piece it was hardly worth the effort. Determined to do it right the small pup tried a second, third and fourth time until he finally succeeded in stripping a sizable piece of flesh from the fish. By that time the first fish was totally demolished so the hungary growing little runt moved to a second fish striping it of its meat. After finishing his meal Calyx moved around the clearing sniffing at anything that seemed interesting to the small pup. Despite his search Calyx did not find anything as everything was covered in a thick layer of snow, without anything to interest the white pup started to get quite bored. As a result his pelt started to change color becoming a very….unattractive green.

Rajat | 5 Years,2 Month | Setting Sun | Alpha Male
As he spoke Rajat’s attention suddenly switched to one of the lone females as she became aggressive. Far from offended or angered Rajat was pleased by the display as it proved that this was a wolf worthy of the pack. Despite this thought this was no time for a fight to break out. Turning his attention to his alpha female Rajat raised his metaphorical eyebrow, they had agreed a long time ago that Daphne would take care and be responsible for the females within the pack while he would be responsible for the males...Rajat had not been a very big fan of the idea but it had allowed him to take the poisonous wolf as his mate when she would have otherwise disagreed. At times like this though Rajat was particularly pleased with the decision he made as it would not be his responsibility to calm the lone female. Even though she was not officially a part of the pack as one who wanted to join she was under Daphne’s jurisdiction. Making sure to ignore the female as any other action would be considered threatening, (Rajat has had a lot of experience with male haters lol ) Rajat moved toward the only to males in the camp that were not a part of his pack. Walking up to a rather thin and pathetic looking male Rajat felt a flash of disdain, what would such a weak creature want with his pack? Nodding his head toward Kiba, an invitation for him to join the alpha so that they could speak, Rajat continued to study the pitiful creature who was looking at Rainar with a decidedly guilty expression. The only thing that stopped the male from acting on the urge to attack the starved thin creature was the scent of burnt skin and the obvious state of the male’s pelt. How could one be burnt in such cold weather? Wanting the question answered as soon a possible Rajat switched his gaze to Rainar who also bore burns though it was more singed fur than anything else.

Nova | 5 years, 9 months | Female Healer | Falling Embers | In Heat
As Rahese glared at her and lengthened his stride batting her nose with his tail, Nova tried to keep pace but admitted defeat as the larger wolf outpaced her in the deep snow. Giving a laugh at his characteristic grumpy behavior Nova was content to follow the furrow the large wolf made in the snow making walking a much easier task for the much smaller Nova. Making sure to leave her own scent as to strengthen the border even more, Nova’s tufted ears flicked back and forth catching any sound that managed to break through the barrier of hail and wind. It was several minutes later that the female caught the sound a decidedly male and somewhat familiar yelp. The sound was too distorted by the wind to make out exactly what it was. A tingle of curiosity flew through Nova as Rahese finally addressed her asking her what she believed the sound was. Giving a shrug of her shoulders Nova tilted her head. “Though it sounded slightly familiar I can’t quite tell what the sound was though I believe it is male, what do you say we find out for ourselves? An unofficial test to see if your wound is as healed as you seem to believe it is.” Jumping forward Nova gave Rahese’s muzzle a quick lick, payback for the tail whack he had given her earlier, before she leapt out of the snow toward the forest edge where she was able speed up under the tree boughs were much less snow lay. Letting out a soft howl, Nova challenged Rahese. “Bet I get there first, warrior.” Legs moving in a blur, Nova dodged her way through the forest...not as fast if there had been no snow at all, Nova focused completely on moving as quickly as she could. Normally she would have been able to outdistance the larger wolf easily, but the snow and lack of brush made speed more difficult for the female while the longer legged male would undoubtedly profit. This would be a close one….

(Guys, should there be a rule in the roleplay against having two of your own characters becoming mates or should this be allowed?)

Ravnilo//Male//2 yrs, 9 months//FEP//Lead Hunter and Camaria//Female//2 years, 7 months//FEP//Warrior

Ravnilo sighed as he was rejected yet again. How many times was he going to be rejected? Camaria trudged through the snow near the healer's den. She planned on checking in to see if Nova was alright. That is, if she was even in the den in the first place. Ravnilo caught Camaria's heat scent and followed his nose to her. "Ah, Camaria. As you know, it is the mating season. If you were to be my mate, there are two benefits. One, I will be a very happy wolf. And two, if you are taken, then other drooling males won't be following you everywhere." Ravnilo asked. "I hope this works..." he said to himself. Camaria was bewildered at the statement. "So, will you be my mate?" Camaria couldn't decide on that. She only knew this wolf as her packmate, not as a significant other. At the same time though, she wanted pups. Camaria weighed the options in her head. This wolf could be nice, or he could be like how Nova's former mate was. She was one of the wolves who knew the other side of the story. Ravnilo did not know the other side. He was a lower rank than her but only by a smudge.

(Sucy intros are Sucky)
//Sterling//Male//Loner - for now. Joins the Falling Embers Pack//
//Mentions: The Falling Embers Pack//

Sterling trudged through the snow, his daughter Azalea walking beside him. The young pup was almost as tall as him - but half his weight. She had grown stronger last winter but her half-deafness had still clung to her body. The large male scanned the forest, looking for any sign of wolves to help them. Recently something strange has been going on with Azalea, and Sterling was there to get help from the wolves here.

From the start of his days, Sterling had always heard stories and rumors about the "Pack of powers" as some called it. They were allegedly a pack of wolves that has unique abilities. He had heard of some that could even fly.

Now we come to Sterling's problem. His daughter Aza, had started to do something strange after she had received a blow from her mother and become sick. The strange thing was that when she began to get a strong emotion, her fur would start smoldering and eventually catch on fire. After she calmed down it would go away.

Sterling had immediately set out on the long journey to come to the Falling Ember's pack's territory.

The wind blew, battering his long fur. Sterling forced himself through the snow, making sure that Azalea kept up. Now and then she would have a sudden outburst of "When will we get there?" or "Why are we even doing this? I feel fine!"
Sterling never answered her, just kept walking and dragged her along.

Eventually, the large male caught a faint scent in the snow. His heart skipped a beat, and his legs quickened.

Aza
Azalea attempted to keep up with her father, but fell behind. She became angry and confused. Why were they even here? She was fine, and would continue to be fine! The young female sat in the snow. Her fur started to glow slightly, and grew in brightness until she began to light on fire. Her eyes turned red and her fur heated up slightly. Aza's heart surged with anger of leaving her home, even if she was in danger.

((I'm back! Apologies for my long absence, school has kept me busy and the holidays have come and gone...I'll be posting via my iPhone for a while. My laptop kinda hit the floor too hard...and now it makes a rattle noise. I may use a Windows XP to post.))
The following post is from my iPhone, and edited from my laptop.
Snowy and Fallen Shadow
Fallen Shadow was sorting herbs when he spotted Snowy near the entrance.
"Hello, I'm Fallen Shadow. I'm the assistant healer male here."
"My name's Snowy, but I think you already knew that...or do you just know me as the omega?"
"I knew who you were." Fallen Shadow replied.

Iah Cehka | Female | 4yrs 5mnths | Beta Female

As she waited for Kashi to reply, the beta's eyes turned to the pup's clumsy misadventures, tail wagging quietly as she watched him go to battle with the fish. Watching as he struggled, warmth rose in her chest as he finally caught onto the technique and began filling his belly like he'd been doing it for years. Pride swelled within her, but she promptly shook it away -- who was she to be proud? Expressing a sigh, she watched as he finished his meal and wandered off to investigate things more interesting, before returning her gaze to her own surroundings. Stepping forward, she chowed down on one of the remaining fish -- far less carefully than she should have, but her patience was beginning to wane. It was impossible for Kashi to know the importance behind her seemingly casual inquiry, and she wasn't planning on revealing her true intentions to the hunter -- still, she couldn't help but shift restlessly as she finished her meal.

(Just want to clarify that Iah's impatient, not me. xD This isn't an attempt to urge you to post -- the beta's just antsy about... something. ^^ I''ll have to post Ignis and Rahese tomorrow guys, though, sorry. I'm far too tired to do them any justice. xD As you can see, I can barely manage Iah, haha.)
