My idea is that when you replace your King with a new heir you have the option to reset your stats.

Say your King dies and you replace him with an heir. A message will pop up saying 'You replaced your King! Do you want to start over your impression and level?' you can either say Yes or No. Yes will allow you to start over like you do now, and No will allow you to keep your impression levels etc.

Edit:
(Echo's idea)
You only will get this message choice if you replace your King early.

No support from me, sadly.
It's good to keep starting over. It gives you something to work for each time, and keeps the game going by not being overpowered all the time!!

However, maybe if you forced your king to retire, you could get the choice, to go with an idea of the heir overpowering him. Otherwise, no, I don't think so.

I agree if you replace your king when he's between 8 and 12 years old, but any older than 12 or younger than 8 I disagree, because below 8 means they probably don't have too much impression/levels worth keeping and above 12 means they can just wait till 15.

Its the way it is currently for a reason. It gives you something to work for. If you didn't have to reset your impression and such, then we'd have level 100 lions, which is probably what the game makers didn't want in the first place.

No support for reasons stated. The older members would have a huge advantage over the younger players, because they'd have retired their king more times.

No support. This is a brand new lion, so it wouldn't be the same at all

No support for reasons already stated. Plus then the lower level zones would be lame, and people would get bored of the Waterhole. It gives you more to stride for ya know?
