I like buying lions. Whenever it's for myself or for others, I really enjoy doing it. But what I don't like is the way auctions are handled on Lioden. With rules like "I can stop the auction where I like", "High buyout price to encourage bidding" or some people organizing secrets bids via pm, I really think an auction house will fix this problem. Here's what I think could possibly work: β An Auction House (obviously) where you can put your item up for auction. βYou'll have the ability to put up how long you want the auction to last, 30 mins, 1 hour, 6 hours, 12 hours or 24 hours. βThe minimum amount of how much someone can bid. Example, if I'm selling a decor and the minimum amount is 5sb. It goes 5,10,15,etc. You can't dip under 5. βNo buyout option or cancelling trades. Once it up for auction, it's up for auction. βHaving the ability to delete auctions if no one bids Feel free to suggest any other ideas on how this could or can't work! I'd love to hear them. Suggestions @Hawkeye (#55590) I think you should be able to cancel/edit your auction price withing maybe say 10 minuets of putting it up, for things like mistakes ect. And then from there, you can't touch it or do anything. I also think Auctions should be maybe around 1-14 days or so depending on what you choose |

I'd support as long as there was an autobuy slot and an option to cancel the auction in case the current bids are too low 0 players like this post! Like? |

just put a higher stat price :< ok, but i would like a possibility to cancel the auction if NOONE bid on it. So if i put a too low start price by mistake, i can cancel and put the right one Oh, and auction up to 3 days, or a little more ^^ 0 players like this post! Like? |

@Assassin Have a starting price and have a fixed amount to how much people can bid. Let's say you're selling the cub and you want around 500 sb. Reasonable. So you set the price to 200 and fix the minimum increment to 50. So let's say you get 5 bids. 250 300 350 400 500 Does it make sense? I'm trying to find a way to get a picture of what I'm talking about so people can understand. @Yrisa That seems pretty fair! 0 players like this post! Like? I don't see how an autobuy feature would be a problem though, it just gives someone who really wants whatever is being auctioned the chance to just straight up buy the item. If the autobuy is too high then I doubt anyone will a) actually autobuy the item or b) reach it. And the cancel would be in case say, you put up something worth a lot but it never gets to a really good price to make it worth actually selling, then the person who made the auction should have the chance to cancel the auction 0 players like this post! @Rush I already added a cancel suggestion but only for auctions that haven't been bid on. To touch upon your other point, I feel as if you have an item where you know it's worth you should price it to a point where people can easily reach or even surpass the price you want. If the bids being placed don't reach to where you want, it's not the bidders fault. It's to whoever put the auction in place to make sure they get the price they want. @Jess I would rather try to fix whatever problem their is rather than leave it be. For example, the cub market used to be a mess before all the breeding/genetic updates and now it's somewhat better. But I appreciate your opinion regardless. 0 players like this post! Like? I like this idea. I also don't understand the complaints of wanting to cancel an auction for "lowball" offers. Uh... just don't make a starting bid a price you wouldn't accept... That's like... common sense. 0 players like this post! Like? |

@Jess. I used the cub market as an example of something that needed to be fixed. I didn't say anything about fixing the cub market via auctioning. 0 players like this post! Like? |

I'm on fence. Where I like the idea of it, it would make things tidier, I'm not too keen on not being able to cancel it or AB it. 0 players like this post! Like? |
