So i don't know a lot about programming, and for all I know a view counter for forum and trading center posts might be more hassle than it's worth, but if it isn't too much trouble it might be nice to see how many times a post has been viewed so we could have an indication as to whether or not people are seeing a post and just aren't interested, or if maybe it just got swept away by other posts and was never even seen; that would help us decide whether or not to keep bumping a thread or just mark it for deletion, seeing as right now the only real indicator as to the hype or interest for a post is the amount of replies it has.

For example let's say I make a lion selling post and it gets no replies. If i saw it had a lot of views but no replies then I'd know that people were interested but something had turned them off so maybe i needed to adjust my prices or something, etc. But if it had no views and no replies, then I'd know to try bumping it as it may have just been missed, and if its viewlessness persisted then I'd know that maybe people simply weren't interested and to try something else. It might also be useful if you're just curious, I often wonder how many people have viewed my ideas and sales and I've seen it done on similar websites, so it's just an idea...
