To me it just seems like a good learning experience, otherwise I would definitely support. Please don't think I am being rude3

But I also think to balance this, the next slot should be slightly more expensive. So its not all gain.

Personally, I think it's fine as it is. New players don't need sub males. Their main males are certainly far from retiring, and the focus when you're new (at least it was mine back in the day) is gathering territory, saving up money, and focusing on lionesses. A sub male is not something essential to play the game, and after a week of joining I guarantee most people have 500 SB to spare anyway. Plus, male cubs won't take up the male slot right after they're born, meaning you have some time to gather those SB before they run away.

I agree with Vixen on the learning experience. Besides, having a submale is more of a luxury anyways. You can really only use 1 sub male to patrol which just boosts their stats or brings back a small item like a feather. Besides, 500sb isn't that hard to get anyways. May take a few days but it's not that hard especially if you explore frequently and have lionesses to hunt with. It shouldn't be too hard for new players to get 500sb since they don't really need to buy a bunch of things since they really only need lionesses at the beginning which they can get for free from players and the explore.
