I love the new clans, too! Joined one today. Proud clan member! We need a clan chat category! That is an awesome idea. This is the first time I've seen this suggested.

Eh, I don't know about this.

The on-site chats are monitored by the admins, mods, and helpers, and it'd be incredibly hard to monitor or simply make sure all is peaceful in clan chats. I think making a skype or having an off site chat is okay, but on site clan chats sound like a bit much.

No support for now. If I see something to change my mind, maybe then.

It's an interesting idea, but wouldn't a live/moving chat be kind of draining on the server if there were 10+ clans talking at the same time?

@Koga @37687 Well I was assuming that if any trouble were to happen the admins would just kick the troublemaker out, or people could simply just block the player and not hear them in the chats?

Hmmm, no support. I think this would really drag on the server, if it were all the clans able to talk live at once. I think it would be best to keep that off site, or maybe give it it's own place in forums?

I'll support if you mean a forum category, but I really think that live chat would kill the site. Plus getting moderators, or giving clan owners the ability to block/ban/kick/fisticuff (lol) would add on more work.

It's a great idea! Though, like Neo said, there might be a lot of lag caused by the chats.

So maybe it could be a sections in chatter? Not a chat in itself, but a category in the forums. The clan's thread could only be accessed by the members of said clan. It's not as nice as a live chat would be, but it could be a nice solution regarding the lag.

I'm confused. Do you mean a clan chat section in the forums? If so then honestly I don't think it's a good idea. For someone with a computer like mine that would mean constant refreshing of a page as I played on a separate page which would kill my computer.
On the other hand if you mean an actual chat section like, in the chat box, that would take some serious work on the site developer's part to make it so each clan had a separate chat, especially with Clans being such a fluid thing.

The only way I could really see this working is if they either
A) Added another tab, like the clan raffle and clan hoard, that only clan members could access and have it be just a chat box.
or B) They added a chat box underneath the description in the clan page. Personally, with this option I'd make it so the owner of the clan could choose if they wanted a locked chat or a public one. That way if they only wanted people in their clan to be able to use the chat they could add a password that's automatically messaged to the clan member upon joining.

Anyways! That's my opinion on the matter. For now, until I know exactly what you're asking for, I'll have to give no support.
