Snake || Female || 2 || Omega

She nodded, a bit more confident than before. Picking up the rabbit, she padded along behind him, walking near the border. It smelt.... Strange here. Then again, everything was relatively new, seeing how she mainly stuck to the camp since she was an Omega.

Suddenly, she became a lot less confident. What if a Duskfall patrol saw them? Would they think they were trying to invade? She drew her ears back, keeping her thoughts to herself momentarily.

I waited tell I thought it was safe, before joining the higher ranked wolves. I twitched my tail a little, before becoming conscious of it, and wrapping it around my paws. I sat quietly, waiting for one of the other wolves to start the conversation

"Don't be so nervous, they can't harm us Snake. We are on our territory." He said before continuing the trek, picking up on some kind of bird. His tail flicked at her, hopefully she caught the cue to be silent. His muscles tensed before he dropped into a slight crouch, the bush was just on the border, but enough on their side it would'nt be a problem. He circled it slightly, making sure to stay off Duskfall and gave a sniff, the bird was here that was for sure. Soft chirps sounding from the inside. The hunter let out a volley of barks before launching at the phesant as it bolted from it's cover. His weight was enough to drag it downwards and he smirked, cracking its neck before turning to the bush again. "Nestlings.. Good snack." There was four of them, he nudged 2 to Snake, "Might as well. The mother is dead now."

Blinking, she sat the rabbit down, looking at the nestlings. "... A-Are you sure...?" She asked, fur bristling slightly on the back of her neck. Something was making her nervous, and it wasn't just the fact that these were defenseless babies, but...

She pushed that thought to the back of her mind. It was one thing to kill a rabbit. It was another to kill these nestlings. She took a couple of steps back from them. "Y... You can do that..."

Daemon let out a frustrated huff, "Would you rather them suffer and die a long harsh death? Or a quick one like their mom?" He said with a arched brow. His lips twitching slightly as his two were already long gone, and in his stomach. He picked up the pheasant, "If you don't want to kill them put them back in the bush and we'll be on our way." He said with a shrug, they had traveled pretty much the entire border without trouble and he was ready to head home.

The ivory faces hadn't moved a muscle, her bottom coat was now soaked from the water she'd been lay in. She didn't intend to move either, she wasn't particularly a social wolf so liked it on the edges. Raising her head up she looked around, water dripping from her chin. It seemed everyone else was busy, even the omega had gone off on a patrol.

Wincing at the harshness of the truth, she slowly lowered her head, looking at the little nestlings. Trying to ignore the crunching of their bones beneath her teeth, she crushed their heads quickly before looking at the three pieces of prey. She gripped the rabbit in her mouth before eyeing the nestlings, wondering how she would carry all of this.

He sighed as she winced, "Just eat them or something. They couldn't feed a pup." He replied with a shrug. His ears flicked towards camp before gripping the pheasant more firmly and awaiting Snakes confirmation they could began the semi-long trek home. He hadn't found that fresh of a scent along the border, showing they had marked it recently but not crossed over. He snorted with a slight nod, his tail flicking side-to-side sometimes but otherwise remaining still.

Kenai - 3 - Alpha

Without a snarl, Kenai lunged at the Zeta, stopping just short of Tecumseh's muzzle, growlimg lowly. "You have no power to send a hunter and an omega to the BORDER of our neighboring pack, who you are suspecting of a RAID! You fool! You mightve gotten them injured or worse if you were correct!" Kenai let a low growl rumble in her throat, and twitched her tail "If they have not returned within the next few scratches of time, I will be leading the next patrol out there." Flicking her tail towards the entrance to the den, gesturing the male out, she turned to Derryn, before addressing the retreating pawsteps of Tecumseh, "Oh and - Tecumseh - I want you to take the able bodied warriors around the perimeter of the border. I want an entire territory perimeter sweep, Duskfall border to the west, loner territory borders to the far east, south, and north. Doesn't matter how large or small the patrols are, or whether you split up or what, but i want at least two warriors in each parrol and it done by the time the sun crests the cliff tomorrow."

Just above the highest den in camp, a shadow seemed to separate itself from the darkness of a rock face and pick its way down to the alpha's den. Ink black eyes peered into the darkness, adjusting to the change of light in seconds. He picked out different pelts and the carcasses lying in the corner. "Killua. I like this den. It smells good," the black wolf stated, careful to keep his voice low and unheard but for one. He paid no mind to the pack of wolves that could catch on to them any second. The aroma of squirrel and rabbit reached his nose and his muzzle twitched. It had been three days since he had eaten anything. Checking out the strange wolf pack and observing their movements had seemed more important and interesting than hunting. Without a sound he turned and in a fluid movement was beside his brother again. "I think this is the pack. It seems suitable, don't you agree?"

Derryn let out a low growl. That fool! Neither a hunter nor an omega would be strong fighters, and they'd be in a lot of danger if Duskfall suspected them; which they probably would. He shook his head, rising to his paws. "If you want, Kenai, I will go now and fetch them. I'm respected enough by Duskfall that I could stop a fight, if need be. Either way, we should go now, the longer we wait the less time they may have." If either of the wolves were injured, Tehcumseh would be in a lot of trouble.

Kenai shook her head "Not yet. If you or i storm towards the border and duskfall sees, it's going to be a staredown. We wait. If no alarms are sent up, we wait. We wait enough time for the them to return, and we go after them."

Killua-2-Rogue

Killua shrugged, stepping up to sniff the den himself. "Maybe brother. I dont see a good pack, i smell a young alphess, however. The den reeks of stress and those carcasses are nearly food for the crows. Id say the alpha is skinny and overworked-a good way in if you have her fall for you. We could try this pack, but we might be suspicious here..what about the other wolves we smelled? At the intersection of the territories i heard two howls for a successful hunt, two wolves with this pack's smell, and in that den, that one there, three wolves are arguing. This pack would be better to get a strong hold on, and once this one is being influenced by us, it will stand a chance with the other one. Ill infiltrate the latter, you stay here...watch for as long as possible without getting caught, youll be fine with that." As soon as the course of action he thought was best slipped his muzzle, he nearly kicked himself for suggesting they split up. Who would he stick by? They've split up before for a few moments, or in training, but this was neither in training nor would it be quick. Realizing this, he hastily added "and we'll meet up a lot, for updates." Yeah, 'updates', he thought with a small eye roll.
