so I was gazing at the sheer gorgeousness that is the newest special lioness (who I think should be named snowy, but that's just me), and I thought "we should have a mane-esque mutation for males." By which I mean that we have so many manes for females, how about an extra fluffy one for males. It would look a little bit like a Barbary/heavy mane hybrid, and would also have fur on elbows and ear tufts. Yes I know those are already decors, I was just thinking. So they'd have a mane, just an extra thick one. and extra fur.
