Being that forum raffles are very popular, I feel like the community of Lioden would benefit from having instead, an OFFICIAL, scam-proof, raffle system.

I picture it working somewhat similar to the trading center. The raffle host can choose what items, lions, currency, or mixture of any of the above, they want to give away, and what they accept as entries. They must choose to have the raffle end at a specific date. They can also choose to have limited or unlimited number of slots. If the slots fill before the end date is reached, the item will automatically given out to one (or more, if desired) random entry (or entries) and if the end date is reached, the prize or prizes will be given away then.

The raffle host will not recieve the entries until their prize is given away. This way, they can choose to cancel their raffle at any time. The entries will automatically be given back to the entrants, and the prize will be given back to the host. Entrants can also choose to withdraw their entry at any given time.

And as a bonus, raffles that you're participating in would be easier to keep track of. You'd simply check into the raffle center, or... whatever it ends up being named.

Having an official user-created raffle system would prevent scams and make Lioden a more fun place to hang out :D
