I know a lot of people here will accept items for studding, and it's kind of annoying to still have to send the item in a gift, and then send the sb/gb and hope it gets returned, so why not just implement a space in the studding services box that allows you to do so? My idea would be to have an additional drop down box that can allow you to offer items from your hoard instead of sb/gb. From the view of the stud requester. To keep things happy, maybe players offering the studding service can specify which items they'll accept, to filter requests that are a tad... unfair, in price (I'm talking about preventing someone from constantly offering one or two food items for a stud that has like, triple rosette). They can choose up to twenty items, just like in the raffles. What the player would see under their own studding services box. On top of that, there could be an option to allow free breeding, like as a special, or something. I'm not a coder, so I'm not sure if any of this is possible. I also didn't see anything like this in the suggestions, but feel free to correct me if I'm wrong. Kimiko suggested: if a stud could pick item to add to a list of acceptable items and the requester could only pick those items that would be the best Also, having the opportunity to put forward breeding items which are automatically used would be great too :) So you'd have a wishlist which you block all food items and bugs on for instance, what you really want written in your lions bio for your stud. Then for other studs you'd see a drop-down breeding items section for you to select what you want to use with the stud. I think its silly that the rules don't let you do promise transactions, or give you any help when you send over a breeding item and the stud's player efuses to use them and keeps the items, so having this extra security would be a great feature ^^ Update! With the addition of the raffle system, it'd be much easier to model my suggestion after that! The stud requester would still see what's pictured above, but instead it would only show the items the studder has selected. Instead of manually selecting of you're accepting food/event/breeding/etc items, you'd just pick 'x' amount of items like you do when picking items you'll accept for raffles. The images have been updated to show that! You would be unable to set your price as "Sb AND Gb AND items," only "Sb OR Gb OR Items," with an option of "Sb AND Gb OR Items." |

Kind of on the fence about this. I feel it's a neat idea, but isn't it easy enough to set up a trade, buy it out for the stud fee, and then send in a stud request? 0 players like this post! Like? |

It's about the same level of effort. This just puts it all in one place, pretty much. You don't have to pm links back and forth and open all sorts of different windows. 0 players like this post! Like? |

support not sure I get the layout 100% but if a stud could pick item to add to a list of acceptable items and the requester could only pick those items that would be the best ( I would not want someone trying to offer me 3 feathers for my stud 0 players like this post! Like? |

Also, having the opportunity to put forward breeding items which are automatically used would be great too :) So you'd have a wishlist which you block all food items and bugs on for instance and what you really want written in your lions bio for your stud. I'd love to be able to get some skulls or things out of breedings, or maybe an applicator or two if I get a better lion :) Then, for other studs, you'd see a drop-down breeding items section for you to select what you want to use with the stud. I think its silly that the rules don't allow 'promise transactions' and then made it also include no help for when you send over a breeding item and the stud's player refuses to use them and keeps the items. Having this extra security would be a great feature ^^ (I agree with no staff support for most promise transactions) Support! 0 players like this post! Like? @Kimiko That's a pretty good idea, I'll add it to the op! Possibly as another option, if someone wants specific items for studding. You'd still be able to decline offers, as you normally would be able to. You'll also be able to choose how much of an item they must offer to start off with, three is just an example. I'm sure most people would use this for decor and event items, someone asking for only food and/or feathers might be in desperate need of them since they're relatively easy to find and get through hunting and exploring. @FlipicusPup I didn't even think of that! If this entire idea is possible, which I'm relatively sure most of it is, that could be easily implemented. 0 players like this post! Like? I agree as long as you can dictate what to offer as opposed to letting people send a free for all. However, I'm not sure how that'd work if you have a stud fee plus require/ask for energy items. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Depending on what may be able to be done via coding, there may be a way to be more specific of what a user can set to accept. The items cover the stud fee, there wouldn't be an option for both beetles AND items, that'd be kinda pointless. Not sure if I helped any ^^ 0 players like this post! Like? |

Now that the raffles have been implemented, it's a great example of what I was thinking of for accepting items for studding. The user would be able to select a set amount (up to 20?) of items they are willing to accept for breeding, and the user studding the lion would be presented with a drop down menu that would only have the items the studder is accepting. 0 players like this post! Good idea, support! Just one suggestion: forgive me if someone else already said this and my brain just didn't interpret it right, but I think the best way for this option to work would be that the stud (with the price setting box) puts in a wishlist of items and quantity of them, and the person wanting to pay for a breeding would then select them with a bullet option, just like SB or GB. This would make it easier for both parties, so that the stud player doesn't get offers of items they didn't ask for (or not ENOUGH of the items they asked for), and people wanting to pay don't have to sift through their entire inventory for the few items the stud is accepting. If the person has a big wishlist it could be compressed with like a show/hide button for item payment As for split payment, uhh... that's too much thinking for me, lmao 0 players like this post! That's exactly what I was going for, actually! There'd be a list of accepted items, similar to what's being done for the raffles. I'd imagine it'd be a limited number of items allowed. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Awesome! Haha, sorry it didn't click in my brain, it's just so annoying like when you bid on lions for trading and you gotta sift through the whole alphabet of your inventory for what they want, hehe 0 players like this post! Like? |

Definitely supporting, as I myself accept items as payment for stud requests. :) 0 players like this post! Like? |
