Whenever you price something in your shop or whenever you're starting a trade, I've noticed that there isn't a pop-up.

Seeing how people mispricing items and having said items brought is a bit of a problem here, I was wondering about a pop-up that appears BEFORE you put something up for sale. Something along the lines of:

"You have priced/set the buyout of [item name here] for [insert gb and/or sb price here]. Are you ABSOLUTELY sure about this?"

I would add
"Are you sure you want to set the trade buyout to [example] 4GB AND 500SB?"

I fully support!

I would only support this if the message had the amount you're about to put it up for in it.
"You're about to put this trade up for 5sb, are you sure?"

Otherwise, it's just another OK to click through and doesn't help you actually realise you've mispriced anything. Even if it did what I suggested above, people would still hit enter out of pure habit anyway. But it can't hurt. :)

Great idea. I am guilty of this myself.

Agree with feather. This is a great idea. Just a few weeks ago I purposely bought a GMO cow listed at 30sb. Gave it back to the owner with the message "I think you mispriced this". They're lucky it was me and not some meanie pants lol.

I support this 100%, so long as it included the price in the message, as other have mentioned already. I was desperate for GB at a point earlier this year and had 4 buffy balls to sell, and for some reason I thought it was a good idea to sell them at 6GB each to ensure they sold. I sold one for 6SB. :^) Someone messaged me, saying "I think you mispriced your trade" but by the time I read the message someone had bought the trade with no intention of giving it back. So I agree, a warning could save someone the trouble, pain, and embarrassment of selling something for so little.

Fully support that pop-up message. I have done that exact thing, realizing only seconds after I created the trade that I'd entered the amount in the SB slot instead of GB. I was fortunate in that I was able to cancel the trade before it was purchased. This would help eliminate those errors.

It would be a good idea. I never really had this happen, I just say to offer. And then I get lowballed that way...

Like with mutie girls that are worth more than what people offer... but the pop up might work.

No support.

I put up cheap trades and shop prices all the time. This would be really annoying. Do the occasional accidents happen? Sure, but now I'm super careful.

There would be no way to say what is 'too cheap' and what isn't. The economy fluctuates. There is no hard fixed pricing on anything. Take the ancient lion mask as an example. Prior to the craftable update, I was selling those for 2-5GB. Now they are substantially less. I really don't want to have to click a pop up every time I now sell one. Food also gets priced fairly low sometimes. I've got 72 spaces in my branch right now. I'll be damned if I have to recheck the price of every single item every time I update them for markdown.

I don't know. I know from other games that people are still going to just get used to clicking through the popup without paying attention and will misprice things anyway, so I'm not sure the extra clicking is worth it.

Y'know, a nice solution to both sides of the argument here would be to have a pop-up for price confirmation, but with the option to disable it for those who hate having to do extra click-throughs.

If you are willing to take the time to read the text on the pop-up, why don't you rather take the time to proof-read the price you just entered ?
