Breeds and Locations

Plains Drachenhund
Plains Drachenhund are located in valleys, meadows, and plains for the most part. These creatures are light in build, and often come in very basic concepts. These creatures normally bear very modest colors, ranging from neutrals to greens to blend in with their surroundings. Often times they are found in herds, and prefer to eat just about anything they can get their paws on. Meat, insects, berries, grasses, they will eat it all. Think of them like a goat!
As for size, they normally stand at four feet at the shoulder, and can weigh anywhere from one-hundred pounds to one-hundred fifty pounds. Plains Drachenhund, on rare occasions, are seen sporting antlers/horns/claws/hooves. However, this is hard to find, so there are chances to be even more differences among these elusive creatures.
In order to bond with one, one must have the proper items on hand. Normally a sugar cube, apple or carrot will do wonders for these animals. Once you gain their trust, they are life partners, and will do just about anything for their companion.

Locations:
Plains Drachenhund can be found just about anywhere, since they are the most common species of Drachenhund. However, the best places to find these beautiful, graceful creatures are in meadows, valleys, plains and foothills.

Desert Drachenhund
Desert Drachenhund are by far the most fierce of their species. They have to survive in harsh wilderness and climates. These creatures are stockier in build, and much bigger than most of their kind. Their colors are normally mottled, and blend into the shifting sands of their homes. They can range from browns and greys, a more uncommon color, to straight up black, a rare color. These creatures are known to be highly aggressive, and will attack if provoked. When hunting for these Drachenhund, it is best advised to bring a fish or some form of meat, as they are known carnivores.
As for their size, they can be around five feet, but the largest recorded Desert Drachenhund has been around seven feet at the shoulder. These beasts can range upwards of three hundred pounds. Desert Drachenhund normally sport large, sharp claws upon their front paws only, and a set of canines protruding upward. However, some have been seen sporting horns, belly scales, and even spikes protruding from their backs and shoulders. Due to their natural elusiveness, there is a chance there are even more mutations.
It is best advised that, if you wish to tame one, you bring a large flask of water along with fish or meat.

Locations:
Desert Drachenhund are normally located in the shifting sands of deserts spread far and wide, but have been known to travel in the tundra bluffs.

Forest Drachenhund
Forest Drachenhund are the most gentle and delicate of their kind. They are found in most forests, but can be seen from time to time out in the open. This, however, is rare. These creatures sport spots, stripes, or mottled colors to blend into their forestry homes. Being delicate as they are, they often can be found in close knit groups called kin. They prefer a diet of insects, bark, and berries. Out of all the Drachenhund, they are the most shy creature, and in the end, the hardest to tame.
Their size is around five foot at the shoulder, though some can be seen smaller or larger. Their colors normally range from browns, a common color, to reds, a more rare color. They can weigh upwards of two hundred pounds, though this is rare, and often is seen in the biggest males. In some cases, they have been seen to sport antlers, and large manes. However, due to their natural shyness, it is possible there are more mutations. If you wish to tame one of these creatures, it is best advised to bring plenty of sweet berries.

Locations:
Forest Drachenhund are normally found in forested areas, deep within the heart. While it has been known they venture into the plains and meadows, it is extremely rare to find one there. And on some occasions, they have been found wandering the deserts, often time lost....

Mountain Drachenhund
Mountain Drachenhund are located upon plateaus and in mountain ranges often times, and are strong, proud creatures. It is considered an honor to even tame one of these beasts. They are fleet footed, and light in build to allow for gliding and swift running. Their diet consists of ores and rock, the minerals a supplement diet. These creatures are considered to be curious, but be wary when venturing close. Though it seems they are not aggressive, they will protect their home from strangers.
Their size is upwards of seven feet at the shoulders, weigh nearly two hundred fifty pounds, and their wingspans are roughly around eight foot. This does not allow for flight, but gives them a good chance for gliding. Their wings are often a mass of leathery membrane, and a single digit that extends outward. Mutations consist of more birdlike wings, or more batlike. Some have even been seen wingless, though this is highly rare. If one wishes to tame these majestic beasts, it is suggest to take a rare ore, like gold or silver, and offer it to the creature.

Locations:
They are often found in the rocky crags and cliffs, mountain ranges and plateaus. However, on rare occasion, they can be seen heading down to the foothills and valleys.

Exploring

There are more Drachenhund species to be found…! To locate more, pick a selection below… Each place has a twenty-five percent chance to spot a Drachenhund. Your chances of catching one are twenty-five percent.

Locations:
Mountains - Mountain Drachenhund, ??
Plains - Plains, Forest, Mountain Drachenhund, ??
Desert - Desert, Forest Drachenhund, ??
Forest - Forest, Plains Drachenhund, ??
Foothills - Any Drachenhund, ??
Meadows - Forest, Plains, Mountain Drachenhund, ??
Cliffs - Mountain Drachenhund, ??

Now, how do you go about finding all these beautiful creatures? Well, it’s simple! You pick a location you wish to go, and then you simply pay a small sum of 50sb per exploration. You may explore up to 3 times a day.

Can we send out our Drachenhund?
The answer is yes! You may send out your Drachenhund. The requirements are simple. Your Drachenhund must, first and foremost, have a name! No Drachenhund likes to respond to ‘hey you!’ all the time, right? Secondly, you pick a location to send your Drachenhund. Beware! It is possible for them to get hurt! Their chances for injury are a 50/50 to start. You want to lower their chances for injuries? Simply buy a few items. If your Drachenhund does get hurt, they have a two day cooldown period before you can send them out again.

You can buy Prepaid Explorations! This means that you can send me as many SBs as you like for exploring. Remember, there are only 3 explorations a day, so if you send me 300sb, you’ll have 3 explores paid for the next day!

Prepaid Explore Bank
Bipolar - 0 Explores
BC - 0 Explores
Gnarlandis - 20 Explores

But what if we want to see more Drachenhund?
Well, that’s simple, too! You may tell me in a vote what area you want unlocked next! Based on this vote, it will open up new areas to explore!

Sea: IIIII
Shoreline:
Jungle:
Artic: III
Caves: I
Fallen Cities: II
Clouds: I
Volcanic Wastes (NEW!): II
Frozen Tundra (NEW!):
Marshes (NEW!):
Rainforest (NEW!): I
Jungle (NEW!): I

Each place that is unlocked will bring about a new chance to find new species of Drachenhund. How do you go about unlocking these places? You just vote, and that’s it! Each place must reach upwards of five votes to open up.

Not a problem!

Unfortunately, you didn't catch any glimpses of Drachenhund... ): However, you came back with a nifty pink and yellow scarf...! You can keep this item to attach to any Drachenhund you later find... :)
