I know, I know. Because clearly what we need is MORE base suggestions. So being a huge fan of space and space related lion bases, I thought it might be fun to have something a bit darker than Celestial but still reasonably realistic (within Lioden standards at least). It would probably go in the Black Dark Countershaded Special category, I was going for a sort of lilac-ish tone. Also included a possible eye color to go with it, which I'm dubbing Nebula.  Without lineart, since it seems people like to see that:  Comments/suggestions welcome. |

I love it! However.. I think the speckles are a little too dotty, maybe they could be a little bit smaller and a bit more of them dispersed around the body of the lioness. But other then that, I need this base in my life omg! 0 players like this post! Like? |

I agree with LilacBeetle, but I also think that the darker bit on the top of the lioness should maybe be lightened slightly to blend more with base as a whole like the lighter unders do. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Thanks for the support and suggestions! Personally I like the dark on top, but I can definitely see why people would want it lightened/blended in more. The speckles I definitely agree need work; I added them pretty hastily just to give a general idea. 0 players like this post! Like? |
