There is a thing at the karma snake you can buy that already shows karma gain/loss. So no support since it's in the game. :3

That would be helpful indeed. When I changed my king, I went for the bad karma to get the Martyr Blood achievement and once I got it, started building my good karma back up. But while most karma affects are clear, there are a few that are not. For example, the Elder Lion in this month's event - does my karma drop if I choose to fight him, or is it unchanged?

It only shows the karma gain and loss from explore encounters. It doesn't show for battles.

Honestly, I think the snake's karma reveal thing should reveal your karma gains/loses across everything you do on site that nets you a karma gain/loss. It only makes sense. Support. :)

Just got back from a hiatus- I have a good karma leaderboard queen so am on that grind for good karma. I wasn’t sure if this was changed at all since my break but I’m disappointed to find it has not.
The event encounters on wiki tell you karma gains and losses during battles, but is unhelpful with any non-event related battles. not only that, people shouldn’t be reliant on a wiki to track features when there are already built-in feature in game to serve this function. And besides, if there is a built-in and PURCHASE-ABLE feature to show you your karma gains and losses in explore; (which battling is exclusively an explore feature) it kinda feels like a requirement for it to show.

I have two accounts, one with the karma tracker purchased and the other without.
On the karma-free account I skipped all interactive encounters until a battleable one. I fought one battle and immediately returned to karma snake; manually checking karma before and after said exploring with the 50SB feature. My points dropped by 5 with the one completed battle; no notice of the karma drop. (Not surprised but needed to show any differences between accounts with and without the tracker)
In the good karma account I followed the exact same steps. Skipping all but battle encounters. I fought two battles and immediately left explore(I lost one of the battles but I guess even initiating one counts); with a manual karma check for 50 SB before and after the fights, and my points dropped by 10. Again With no notice despite this account having the karma tracker.

Now for me, I suspected for a while that battles dropped karma so I never had an issue, but what about all the others players trying to earn karma and are actively hindering their progress completely unintentionally because they are unaware of this fact?
This also raises a big issue of battling being the number one source of EXP for kings, and what good karma kings are expected to do for exp when they are prevented from participating in this feature for fear of karma loss.
Now for most, the hits to karma to battle don’t matter, but for good Leaderboard seekers, every point matters, and they go through great lengths to prevent any loss; and those points rack up quickkkk. This leaves good karma lions at a big disadvantage leveling wise to evil karma lions, which can make the difference between a TON of free energy bars. (There is also a glaring fact that evil karma leaderboard lions always pop up in the highest stat and highest level leaderboard as well, while I’ve never seen this happen with a good karma leaderboard lion.)

Now this is less of an issue seeing as karma is practically useless aside from titles, Leaderboard bragging rights, and the once in a blue moon December event but that still doesn’t make it any less deserving of proper balancing.

TL/DR:
- karma gains/losses aren’t shown after battles, with or without the karma tracker and with proof that karma is actually lost during battles, regardless of wins or losses. Also apparently it doesn’t show for nature reserving or killing which I also feel really should not be missing with the karma tracker.

-Battling drops your karma by -5 points regardless of a win or loss for curious ones

-there’s a noticeable discrepancy in levels, rewards, and stats for evil karma lions versus good karma lions. While this has nothing to do with the specifics of this thread, it’s yet another thing that needs to be fixed with karma as a whole
