Winter watched as Elsa's chair froze up, her green eyes widening. She placed a hand on her shoulder. "Are you alright?" She asked her in a gentle tone, trying to calm her down. She knew she must be worried about her sister. She looked to W for a moment, seeing she was scared. She couldn't really blame her, she was in a boat with lots of potentially dangerous characters that could become angry at any moment. 'The last thing we need is more people freaking out.' She thought.

Seeing how nervous Legolas was, she took his hand again, giving it a gentle squeeze. "'Hey, your friends are going to be okay. It's just because some council members went missing. Just try to stay calm, I think you'll find that it's easier to think when you're calm." Her voice was gentle and soothing, and she gave him a reassuring smile before looking back to Elsa to make sure she was okay.

Elsa flinched at Winters touch, but relaxed almost immediately after. From what W said, things should be okay.

W herself seemed nervous. Who wouldn't be in a room full of people like them. Elsa did feel a little bad for her.
But when she said things would be okay for everyone in their own dimension, she loosened up. Okay. So it wasn't that bad.

Or maybe it was for the council at least.
"Thanks." She said quietly to Winter.

She gave Legolas an awkward smile, he had noticed her chair.

Steven could see Garnet's hands getting twitchy. He knew she was worried just as he was. He looked at Smaug and Connor, wondering if they had any loved ones to worry about.

Well maybe Connor did. But he wasn't sure about Smaug. The Council woman, W, seemed uneasy at the sight of everyone freaking out.

But he was glad to hear his friends would be safe... They should be right?

Garnet clenched her teeth. She felt horrible at the moment. Why did she leave in the first place? She should've known her friends would need her!

Her breathing slowed a bit, forcing herself to listen to W speak of how everyone would be okay. It was going to be fine... She just hoped it would be fine.
If only she could warn them. What could she do for them all the way over here.

"Alright, so if everyone is finished... That's all I have to say. If you have questions, I'll answer what I'm allowed to, but that's all. No trying to bribe me to get back, or anything like that. Trust me, part of myself wants to get back to help, but they have it under control." I hope.

With that said, W sat back down and glanced at the screens. Nothing was happening, but that could change in an instant. She had to be ready.

Legolas stared at W, studying her expressions carefully. She seemed on edge, which made his mind wander. What if she didn't have it under control? His fingers tightened around the edges of the chair he was sitting in at the thought of the lies that might be coming out of her mouth, and he hissed between he teeth as he unintentionally scratched open one of his palms. He felt Winter squeeze his other hand. He looked over and watched her for a moment, even as she turned away, and leaned back into the chair he was sitting in, hoping the feeling of nervousness would go away.

He looked around for a moment, watching Garnet, who seemed to be slightly focusing on something else every once in a while, as if she was zoning out and thinking. He caught Elsa's awkward smile as he turned back to Winter and stopped, looking her up and down, evaluating her. He knew it wasn't her fault, but the cold still slightly irked him, so he leaned over towards Winter and propped his arm up on the side of his chair closest to her.

Smaug raised an eyebrow as W finished her speech and watched her expressions as she sat down. He felt a rumble rise up in his chest and he turned his head, his amber eyes blazing. He felt Steven's nervousness and turned towards him, his eyes still blazing like dragonfire. "You alright boy?" He asked in his rough, deep, scratchy voice. He looked at him again and began to think. What if he never got home? He was itching to go and set things right.

He did it without thinking. He bolted up, his eyes blazing and glowing in the dim light as he stared at her. "Is that all we came here for?" He snarled, his voice echoing like thunder, as if he was on the verge of a roar.

Draco felt Smaug bolt up beside him and he reached over, grabbing his arm just as he began to snarl out the words. "Smaug. Calm down. You need to sit." He growled under his breathe. The dragon's eyes met his own and he slowly sat down, inner turmoil boiling in his mind. He gave Steven and W apologetic looks, as if apologizing for their attitudes. He knew they were all wanting to go home, even Legolas, who seemed to be clinging to the human girl beside him. Draco looked at her for a moment before looking away, staring at the ceiling and sighing slightly. Why would he go home anyways? There was nobody left that he loved.

"Well, okay. Bye W, perhaps we'll see you again." Connor said, and left to his house. When he got there, he then decided he wanted to host a pool party. Sketching out the first flyer, he decided it would be at night. When finished, he went to photocopy them. When that was done, he hung them all over town. After doing that, he hurried home again and found what he needed for it. Bathing suit, towels, goggles. It was hosted at the town pool, which was indoors, and had several pools. A whirlpool, a regular pool, and a hot tub, with a diving board for the regular one. Along with party lights for any parties there, which were frequent. And he didn't HAVE to switch to night form if he didn't want to. The watch was removable, so he took it off and placed it neatly on his dresser.

Mangle was leaving back to her apartment. She was almost there when she noticed flyers hung. They were about some pool part at the town pool. She loved that place, and she always loved a party. She hurried home and got her pool gear ready, Her crystal necklace shard had much technology within it, so she set it to not transform her when taken off. Leaving it on the drawer near her bed, she turned on the TV and waited for it to be time for the party.

Karka was leaving after everyone else was. She also saw the flyers for some pool party. Well, she was definitely coming. She came toward her apartment door as well and got all necessities ready. She set her bracelet to not make her shift when taken off, and left it on the desk across form her bed. It wouldn't be long, so she just pulled out her phone until then.

Winter sighed as W finished speaking, and she smiled at Elsa when she thanked her. "No problem." She glanced over to Legolas, who had now leaned away from Elsa's chair, making Winter smie. "You don't like the cold?" She teased him, trying to lighten the mood slightly. She caught a glimpse of his palm, and saw that he had scratched it open somehow. She winced. That must have hurt. Spotting Smaug stand up and shout, she rose to her feet herself. "Maybe we should go." She said to both Legolas and Elsa. "You obviously need some time to think things over." She stuffed her hands in her pockets and walked outside.

Once she was back out on the dock, she took a deep breath, happy to be out of the stuffy ark. She was slightly worried about Legolas, and had no idea how he managed to scratch his palm open. 'I feel kinda sorry for him, he must be so confused.' She thought, shaking her head.

"No." He muttered, forcing a smile even though he felt sick to his stomach. The minute they suggested they should go he bolted. He headed straight out and onto the side on the dock, his stomach feeling so bad that he almost threw up. He leaned over the railing and looked into the water below it, trying desperately to focus his vision.

He straightened back up and growled. "What the hell did that idiot think he was doing back there?" He snarled, referring to Smaug. "And why the hell were we dragged in there for in the first place? I would rather not know what was going on with my homeland, thank you." He sighed and leaned back against the railing again, thinking of what could possibly be happening to them.

He looked back at Winter with an apologetic look on his face. "Sorry." He muttered. It was all he could use to apologize. He didn't know what else to say. He was too shaken up to do anything else but stand there, feeling the familiar sting of homesickness start rising again, bothering him even more than usual. He highly doubted he would get home now.

Smaug stared at Draco, hatred boiling in his eyes, and he stood up, facing Steven. "I'm leaving kid. Feel free to follow." He growled lowly before stalking out, closely followed my Draco, who intended to go home. He didn't understand any of what she had tried to explain to them, nor why those three people, the first to leave, could have left so quickly, as if they had nothing on their minds. They must not miss home like he did, like anyone else did. It kind of made him angry.

Walking down the street, towards his house yielded the sight of party flyers, which were posted by that kid inside that seemed to be around nine. He read the banner slowly. I suppose I will go. After all, I've got nothing else to occupy myself with. He growled to himself. He slowly turned and walked down the street. He wasn't sure where it would take him, but he just wanted to keep going.

While the others started clearing out of the ark, Jackie lingered behind a little. She wasn't going to miss an opportunity; not after what Stanford had said last night. She walked forward slowly, cautiously, up to W. The name alone intrigued her, even without the interesting hairstyle and outfit and overall appearance. Still, she bet the authorities had some law in this town against all those cameras... right? Come to think of it, Stanford had said the Council had made this town, hadn't he? Were the council members the authorities?

She stopped, close enough to W to talk comfortably but far enough away that she wasn't in her personal space. "Excuse me?" She asked, shifting her laptop under one arm. "I was wondering if you could answer some questions for me." She'd thought of some questions overnight, and others she wanted answered from another point of view. She wondered if W could tell she wasn't a character from this pocket dimension thing. Was there some indication of it?

Macavity's eyes shot over to the other characters, observing their reactions. One in particular seemed hot-heated - that could be useful. He'd have to catch him later. And the one next to him. He made note of them for later, should he ever catch them in a less-crowded environment. For now, he briefly removed the cigarette from his mouth to blow out another puff of smoke. Looked like they were done here already, then. Occasionally playing with his ring, Macavity replaced the cigarette and started to slip out of the ark.

Winter watched Legolas, seeing that he looked like he might puke, she backed up slightly. "Are you going to throw up?" She had a fear of puking, and felt like if he threw up, she might as well. Her parents had always told her it was a strange fear, but Winter absolutely hated the feeling, and she shuddered at the thought of it. She hadn't thrown up in years, and would do whatever she could to keep that streak going.

She calmed slightly when he began to talk. He looked a bit better now. "Smaug is probably as confused as you are." She told him. Realizing what she had just said, she leaned against the railing. "Wow, I actually just stood up for Smaug. I am going crazy." She thought out loud. She had no response to what he said next, because she was thinking the exact same thing. 'Why did they tell us about it? And how did those council members go missing? Is something hunting them down?' She immediately pushed the thought out of her head, deciding she wasn't going to let herself become paranoid.

Winter raised an eyebrow as he apologized, and she smiled softly. "You don't need to apologize. Maybe you should just head back to the apartment and relax for a little bit." She soon spotted a flyer and made her way over to it, reading it. A pool party. Another party, so soon? She didn't know if she'd go or not, since she certainly had a lot to think about, and she had planned to work on her writing a little bit today. But if Legolas went, it would be cruel to leave him there to figure things out by himself, and she found herself laughing softly at the thought of him trying to figure a pool party out.

He shook his head and watched the ocean for a few moments, smiling at her statements. "Well, everybody needs a fellow to stand up for them every once in a blue moon." He chuckled. "Are you afraid of throwing up?" He joked, until he realized she had been and he shook his head. "Sorry, that was uncalled for."

He looked behind her to see the flyers and looked at them in silence. "No, relaxing won't do much for me. I cannot do such a thing when I know I can never go home." He murmured. "I don't give a damn what a pool party is; I'm going anyways." He laughed.

"Of course, I'm not going without you. I'd have nobody else there I would prefer to talk to. Plus, you'll have to explain what a pool party is." He added that last part on with a huff and looked up at the sky, noticing the birds he had so desperately been trying to find yesterday were finally back in the sky. He smirked at the thought, until he remembered he didn't have his bow. By then he just huffed rather loudly and turned back around. He had had more than enough drama for one day.

As everyone started to file out, someone-the dragon, Smaug-stood up and questioned her before turning and leaving. She was tempted to follow, but then...

"... Ah, yes, you're Jackie, right?" W asked, but she didn't stand. "I remember the old Sixer talking about you. Yes, I can answer some questions, but to an extent. I'm not permitted to reveal certain things, but, hey. It isn't like they're here yet or anything. I'll answer the best I can."

Jackie. Jackie Ford, writer, age 21. Yes, there was a file for her. W was faintly aware of a few folders from a filing cabinet behind her, sitting closed on the desk, though before everyone came in they were open, contents scattered. If only they knew how much we know about them. When one comes over, they send me a file. When a new Writer or Seer is discovered, they make a file and send it over. How many have they sent over the past week? 50? I lost count.

"Awesome," Jackie said with a smile, and flipped open her laptop. She rested it on her left arm while pulling up Word and typing with her right hand. The motion was familiar to her as she often did it when she was standing with her laptop.

"First question," Jackie said, feeling very much like she was in an interview. "The characters who were sent here," she guessed by now W knew she wasn't one of them, "I can see you keep an eye on them." The computers were evidence of that, "Yet, are you prepared to intervene in case they get out of hand?" Her right hand clicke speedily on the keyboard to copy down the question. Goodness, if only her phone were more up-to-date and had an audio recording device.

Natella huffed to herself before leaving the ark. Her vision was immediately captured by the flyers for... what was this? A pool party? That struck her as odd. The common peasant was allowed in the pool? Interesting. Maybe these others weren't as poor as she'd supposed. Natella strolled up to one of the flyers and snatched it in her hand, looking it up and down. Right, she knew where the public pool was. Well, then, looks like they were going to be blessed with her presence. After attempting to replace the poster and failing, she started back to her apartment with a whisk of her red hair to prepare herself for the event.

When Legolas asked her about her fear of puking, Winter just looked up at him in silence, a serious look on her face. As soon as he apologized she sighed and looked at the ground. "It's okay. It does sound like a strange fear." She muttered, flicking a strand of hair away from her face. At the mention of the pool party, she smiled. "Are you sure? At a pool party you usually swim, and I don't think you have any swimwear." She told him, folding her arms. "There has to be something you can do to relax. Whenever I need to relax I just watch the Avengers while eating cheesecake, but I don't think that'll work for you." She chuckled. 'If he doesn't know what cheesecake is, I really feel sorry for him.'

"There's nobody else around here you'd prefer to talk to? What about Steven?" Winter suggested. She began to walk back to the apartment building. "Come on, let's go back. I need an Arya hug right now." She said with a chuckle, glancing back to him for a moment to make sure he was following.

W smiled faintly at the question. "Yes, correct. I use various cameras to see what is happening around Yorkville, and it's my job to make sure everyone is in line. The rumor, usually, of some greater being is usually enough to keep people from trouble, but on the extreme case, I contact the rest of The Council, and they take it from there."

She paused, frowning slightly. "... Yet it occurs to me that there is a problem. What are we going to do when someone slips up? We can't send them back. I guess they're just going to have to watch out for one another. We're not like those Men In Black movies or anything where we can wipe people's memories."

Legolas watched her for a few moments, afraid he had upset her with his stupid joke, but he soon realized it was alright and she wasn't too upset. He wanted to ask her why she was afraid of throwing up, but he didn't really want to intrude and getingo her business.

"Yes, I'm sure. Besides, I don't care much for swimming. I've never swam in anything other than normal clothes. I haven't really had the opportunity." Js stated as am answer to her question. He stared at her in confusion at the mention of cheesecake, but it had the word cake in it, so he figured it wouldn't be bad at all. "That actually sounds like a good idea. I want cake." He muttered to himself. Cake was one of the first things he ate here, and it was officially one of his favorite foods.

He thought about what she had suggested and shook his head. "No. Steven is much younger than me, and he doesn't seem to understand me like you do. Plus, I know enough to know that I very much like you, whereas I don't know Steven much." He smiled at her and nodded. "I want a hug from your sausage dog!" He grinned like an idiot at the thought of the tiny dog. He had grown to like that strange canine.
