Life is up bruh. Also homework, that's not fun at all. I started techie duty tonight, that was cool, but all of these small children that are gonna be in the musical are literally going to run me up a tree.

Oml XD I'm in stage crew and a few 7th-8th graders mistook it for middle school stage crew and they showed up and all us High schoolers were like "Omg were they here to be in Stage crew!? No! Ew why!?"

I'm crew and also usually the soundboard operator, but we're hiring someone for this production, so I'm a "Help everywhere and anywhere" techie. ^.^

They only let high schoolers be techies thank GOD. I don't want a middle schooler coming up and trying to correct me while I do my job. (which has actually happened before. I about smacked the cocky brat.) Like, I've been doing this longer than you, if you want to do anything, shut up and listen. We have an annoying one on the cast though, he was being so disrespectful to our director tonight, but I couldn't do jack because I was in the booth, I actually wanted to smack him. He thinks that just because he got a semi-important role that he has right to be as 'high and mighty' as us high schoolers. It's like... Uh, NO. That's not how it works, 6th grader. You answer to us, and you ESPECIALLY answer to your director of all people. I've never seen HG so pissed after a first rehearsal... EVER.

STORY TIME

so there are these two annoying, rude sarcastic 7th graders. The always belch out the first few words of ever sentence of every song on the bus and one time they didn't know the bus drivers name so they kept yelling "Teresa!" and when they did find out her name (Our bus driver is really nice and all and gets us home on time) they're like "KIM! CAN YOU GO FASTER? I'VE GOT DANCE REHEARSAL IN LIKE 10 MINUTES!" and I was like "You disrespectful little brats stfu." and one day they were complaining about not getting the main role in the Middle schools production "Annie" (High school is doing The Wedding Singer) and here I am, rubbing my temples and I'm like "Seventh graders can't get the huge roles...."

If I'd been that bus driver, I would have slowed down to like 15mph to make them as late as possible. They sound like brats. I would slap them too. 10/10 would smack.

Obviously, you have to have been with theatre for a while for that kind of role! I don't even know how many of those squealing kids were complaining about not being Dorothy (We're doing the Wizard of Oz. Fun tech work, definitely looking forward to it.) I'm just sitting in the tech booth like some sort of salty overseer thinking to myself "Well DUH, you aren't Dorothy, that role went to one of our departing seniors! This is her last production! OF COURSE SHE'S DOROTHY"

Sorry for posting in the Q&A thread when I had more of a statement rather than a question...

I just do really, really bad when I'm forced to come up with a different scenario for a character I've had in a totally different type of RP than what this will be.
