I know there are a few old Roleplays about poaching but those are old and I'm not sure if they're still used.

Plot!
For lions/lioness/cubs::
You are a lion/lioness that lives in South Africa and have lived in peace with your pride... Until now. Poachers have been invading the lands, killing many animals. These animals include rhinos, big cats,elephants, etc. and due to these poachers you have to suffer from lack of food and the danger of being killed! Your pride is now ruled by Delta and her weird hyena cub because the king was killed. Your job is to scare away poachers and help your pride survive.

For humans:
You are a zoologist (zoology is the study of animals), scientist, etc. sent to Africa for various reasons. The group you came with has been finding many dead creatures on your trip. Strangely they've all been killed by snares and other stuff. Once the group learns poachers were involved, they try to stop the poachers! Since the humans have been studying the pride, they try to protect them above other creatures of South Africa!

Summary of plot:
Whether you're a lion or human, you must protect yourselves and each other from the dangers of poachers!

Territory
Lions: The pride lives in a savannah in South Africa near a thick jungle. The jungle was full of prey until the poachers came. The pride's home is by a fallen tree in the savannah. The king, queen, next in line, etc lions sleep on a giant rock with nests on it. Since there is no king, Delta sleeps up there still deciding who will be next in line. On the rock, you can see almost everything, including the jungle. Other lions/lionesses/cubs in the pride sleep on the ground or around the rock in nests. The cubs and their mothers sleep in a den.
Humans: Humans don't really have a territory. They set up a camp near the pride to study them. Their camp is basically a few jeeps and tents. They cook their food over fires. This way, they don't have to risk breaking toasters and such.


Rules!
1. No killing other people, unless they say it's okay.
2. Max of three characters!
3. You may play as a poacher if you want!
4. NO mating! If you're a lion, just do some black out thing. Humans cannot mate in this roleplay though!
5. Have fun!
6. Only the roleplay "moderators" can be other animals
7. No controlling other people's characters, but you can talk about them. (Only control their characters if they're offline and you have permission!)
