The rather large head rising from the moss. Just as he woke, the sun peeked through the den and shined on his grey face, eyes slowly blinking open Standing up, he extended his paws forward in a stretched, the strong-jawline of his parting in a yawn and, once his jaws had closed from the yawn, his pinkish tongue swept across his dark maw, whiskers twitching. Boulderstrike padded out of the den, dipping his head only slightly in greeting to whoever he passed. He stopped in the middle of camp, beginning to ponder on a few things. Like the Blossomcloud situation, for example. As she was a queen, who would step in as deputy until she was done with her 'kit-duties'...? As he finished his musing, he let out a sigh before heading towards the camp entrance. He wasn't on patrol until sunset, so he had a whole day, basically, of free time, so he would hunt.

The warrior let out a huff as he went through the entrance, looking down at his dark [greyish] paws on the pure white snow. He was too dark for the winter and, even though he could hide at times, it sucked when he was hunting on the snow. After walking for a few minutes, he stopped and lifted his nose, scenting for prey. Not too long after, a delicious smell wafted across his nose. Snow vole. Swiping his tongue across his maw, he followed the trail and, once his striking gaze saw the small, yet plump, creature, he slowly lowered to the ground, his large body moving slowly to the only undergrowth, paws lightly stepping on the snow to where it made the small, small 'crunching' noise, though no other noise at all. Luckily, the vole didn't hear, so he continued moving forward when its back was turned and, once he was close enough, he shot forward quickly, the vole moving at the last second. Too late though, as his paws had already grabbed a hold of it with his claws. Quickly moving, Boulderstrike's dark paws pinned it down and he lunged his neck forward, teeth nicking the neck, holding it until it went limp. It was one of the biggest voles he ever saw. Smiling only slightly, he gave a quick thanks to StarClan before burying it for when he came back at the end of the hunting.

"Sounds interesting!" Ravenpaw meowed. "How does it go?" She shook snow from her fur, sitting down. She listened for prey and anything else that may be close to the training area, whilst waiting for Maplewish to respond. Because of this, she was a bit distracted.
