A mixture of whites & browns, it is clear where her name comes from. She sports large ears with tufts on the tips and a tail of pure fluff, along with eyes the color of frozen lakes. Hawkfeather often sticks feathers into the fur on her tail, generally those from blue jays or another blue bird, in honor of her late mother.

.personality.

+ Gentle + To call Hawkfeather gentle might nearly be an understatement. She is kind and understanding to all living creatures, including cats of other clans and any animal she comes across that is suffering. In another life, perhaps her paws would have led her down the path of a Medicine Cat, but it seems that StarClan saw it better fit for her to bring peace to battlefields.

+ Emotionally Strong + It seems that this she cat has a will with the strength of stone. It takes a lot to shake her collected attitude, or cause her pain that will last more than a fleeting moment. Hawkfeather possesses the ability to bounce back from loss and horror in an instant.

/ Lofty / Because of her carefree attitude, it's often that Hawkfeather seems lofty, or distant. It's not hard for to become lost in worlds she has created in her head, nor is it unusual to find her daydreaming.

/ Bubbly / This she cat is really quite bubbly, seeming to 'spill' over with joy and happiness. She is excitable and just glad to be alive.

- Day dreamer - While being lofty is not a good nor a bad trait, being a day dreamer is. Having spent a lot of time alone when she was younger, Hawkfeather has built many worlds within her head, which she often escapes into at the worst of times. Because of this, she occasionally forgets her Warrior duties.

- Overly friendly - This trait can be up for debate, depending on who you speak to. Because of her open heart 'policy,' Hawkfeather seems to not care for rules or borders much. She would not hesitate to help a loner or a cat outside of the Clan, even if it broke a rule telling her not to.

'you're opening bombs with gift wrap, without a care,'
A one night stand, nothing more than a fling with a tom cat beyond borders, turned into two young kits being born half-blood in CoveClan. Before their birth, it had been agreed that one of the little ones would go with their father when they finished drinking their mothers milk. And so the two kits became Hawkkit and Fawn, sisters with fates that would lead their paws far from one another. As they got older, it became clear that Hawkkit was much more like her mother, happy and bubbly and always looking to play. It did not matter to her that the other cats called her half blood, her loyalties lie wherever her mother was.

When Fawn was taken by their father, Hawkkit was surprised at the emptiness it seemed to cause in her heart. After all, losing kin was something she had never experience before. In a few days time, however, Hawk was back to bothering her mother and not so patiently awaiting her apprentice ceremony. In the cold season before her ceremony, Jaybird fell quite ill, confined to the Medicine Den to the point that she missed her daughters ceremony.

'stay with me, your eyes are rolling into the back of your head,'
Hawkkit became Hawkpaw, apprenticed to a towering tom cat named Lionclaw. Despite the sudden business of her life, the young apprentice made time to visit her mother every day, losing sleep to share her stories and learn all that she could from the fading Warrior. Every cat knew that Jaybird was dying, Hawkpaw included, yet she seemed unwilling to let go. Day and night the older cat struggled to keep breathing, though her eyes would always blaze when her daughter came to visit.

To this day, Hawk remembers the day her mother passed. She had just turned 8 moons the day before, and had returned to camp after training all day. Upon entering the Medicine Den, something felt... off. Her mother was lying stone still, though her sides still rose and fell weakly. Jaybird ushered her daughter to her, placed her forehead to Hawk's. 'I will always love you, daughter. Do not ever doubt the love I have for you. I am... so sorry I won't be here to see you become the Warrior I know you can be. But I'll be watching from the stars, little one. Until next we meet.' Dying words that haunted Hawkpaw for days to come.

And still, like before, the young cat seemed to come back stronger from it. She began to wear blue jay feathers in her fur, staining spots on her fur with the brilliant blue color. Hawkpaw completed her apprenticeship on time, head held high when her Warrior name was announced.

'remember the things that I said, 'till then I'll be holding your head,'
Hawkfeather - named for her speed, agility & her ability to always float back to Earth when things go wrong. In some ways, it is also a tribute to her late mother, a reference to the feathers that the young cat began to wear after her passing. The brown and white cat soon took a liking to two leg items & collecting them, donning a string of blue pearls around her neck that she found in a camp site.

Despite her ability to bounce back, there is a hole her mothers death has left in her heart. What does the future hold for this young cat?
