Hey y'all, figured I'd come introduce myself since I've been pretty silent since I joined. Name's Nessus, you can call me Ness or Nessie for short if you like. Been gaming since I was a kid, had a SNES for a long time before my parents bought a PC (where's my RTC2, Sims 1, Sim City 3000, and original Zoo Tycoon crowd?) My favorite platform is PC by far, followed by the 3DS. I'm currently playing Pokemon Sun (feel free to message me if you want to trade friend codes!), Stellaris, and Cities: Skylines. Anxiously awaiting the release of Urban Empire and Universim! My favorite games are: The Sims (even though I don't play anymore-I don't really like 4) SimCity American Truck Sim Harvest Moon Civilization Pokemon. I played WoW for 5 years (always waiting for an excuse to resub-don't tell my boyfriend) and have been playing GW2 since release (message me if you want my BattleTag or GW2 tag, even though I'm not on much anymore). If you add me on Steam (Nessus - don't mind my billion name changes, I was in denial about using the name I use for everything else), you can see my extensive wishlist of games I want to try out...eventually when I have a proper gaming rid. I'm super excited to get to meet all of you! P.S. If you're going to PAX East in March, let me know! I'll be there all three days! 0 players like this post! Like? |

Hi everyone! Sorry that I haven't introduced myself yet... I'm very shy when it comes to talking to people, and it takes me a while to open up/warm up to people. Seeing that a new person introduced themselves game me some courage to say hello to my fellow members. Here I go! My name is Ashley! Yes, that's also in real life as well, I'm quite fond of my name. I live in sunny (that's an understatement, but hey, who's judging?) Florida, and have been playing video games since I was 4 years old. I was given a Sega Genesis by Santa Claus that year, and have never stopped since! I still remember it like it was yesterday... Ms. Pacman and Sonic Spinball... Ah, the memories. My favourite console is and will always be the N64 since it impacted my life the most, and got me heavily into the games that I like today; I'm talking to you, Link! I've mostly been play Final Fantasy XIV, and you can find me most of the time on there via the PS4. I used to play on PC, but, let's be real on the pricing for PC's and getting ones that can handle graphics at a decent price with no lag... Anyways! I'd like to share with you all my top 10 favourite games of all time, as well as talk a little about why I love them so much... Or, you can just skip it, I understand how tl;dr is. :) 10.) Okami Such a beautiful game. I love wolves, and seeing Ammy made me fall in love with her just for the box art, and the game gave me no let downs either! I found the game to be extremely creative with the cel-shade and how you paint to progress in the game, it remains on my top 10 list to this day. 9.) Pokémon Gold and Silver Pokémon has made a huge impact in my life. It's always been there for me when I've been depressed and went through different events in my life. I love the original 1st generation of Pokémon, but once I played Gold and Silver (Silver was my first version), I knew Pokémon would always be with me. I have to say, my faourite part of Gold and Silver is the fact that I can go back to Red and Blue versions and finish the game with 16 badges, and Espeon. Espeon. Yes, Espeon. Every single Pokémon game that I start will always have her in my party. Lynn my Espeon, how I love you. ♥ 8.) Resident Evil 4 A survival horror game, eh? Well, yes, only because it gave a different feel to the other Resident Evils (the ones that I have played) and there were no 'zombies' in the game. Funny enough, I love how the game has a character in there named Ashley, but I hate how useless she is. All in all, the game kept me on the edge of my seat, and I don't know what it was about it, it was an interesting turn for the Resident Evil games. I remember there was this one time that me and 2 of my internet friends, we sat down and played the game together. I played on the Gamecube, and they both played on the PS2. Twas an interesting playthrough to say the least, and we had a lot of fun. Sorry that I didn't go much into detail on this one, I just really love the game 7.) The Legend of Dragoon This game is a hidden gem in the PS1 world. This game, I spent hours on just exploring and leveling up my characters (What's new in generic RPG's?). The soundtrack was absolutely beautiful, and I loved the gameplay as far as transformations. I loved how your characters where elemental-based and had a spirit of a dragon in them. I think the one thing that I liked most, was that the more that you level up your spirits, the closer you get to summoning your respected elemental-dragon! 6.) Animal Crossing No specific one in particular; they are all great games! I enjoy becoming friends with animals and building my own town to my liking. I try and make sure that I have cats and wolves in my villages, because cats. ♥ 5.) The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask This was my 2nd Zelda game that I ever played, and Ocarina of Time being my first. Truth be told, I LOVE Ocarina of Time, but, they one thing that it did not do to me that Majora's Mask did, and that was hit me in the feels. That game... Is so depressing, yet, it is so good. I'd never played a game prior that made me almost burst into tears. I mean... I did, but for the N64, no. We'll get to that later. But, I love how dark this game is, and how you have the burden of saving the world. You are responsible for saving everyone. Of course... This game does revolve almost completely on death. But, yeah... I'm biased when it comes to this game. ♥ 4.) Parasite Eve This is another hidden gem that's been overlooked by other PS1 games. I remember when I first got this game. I was 14 years old, and our school was going on a field trip to see a play based on one of the books that we were reading at the Tampa Performing Arts center, and there were not enough seats due to another school going in on the same day. Needless to say, they refunded our class our money and we went to the Brandon mall and farted around there for 2 hours. I went to what was called EB games before becoming what we know today as Gamestop. I wanted to get a new game, and saw Parasite Eve and also saw Final Fantasy VIII listed on there, and was like... 'I need this because reasons' and bought it. I felt like such a badass buying an 'M' rated game and they didn't even I.D. me either! >:D Enough of that though, the game is a survival horror-RPG, that is a lot of fun. The story is amazing and...My God, I can't go into detail without spoiling anything. I would say that I love how you can customize your guns and armour. Instead of discarding your old stuff, you can break it down and put it on your other stuff. 3.) Undertale This game recently made the top of my listing. I absolutely love this game. I at first did NOT want to have ANYTHING to do with this game, you can thank the fanbase for that one. A lot of my friends persuaded me into playing (PEER PREASSURE FTW!) it. The ONLY reason I did, is because I've always told myself, that I can't judge a game until I play it, no matter how many bad reviews it gets. Well, let's just say my desk is filled with Undertale merchandise approved by Toby Fox from FanGamer, com The sound track is amazing, and the story is to die for... >:] What I like most about it, is that the combat system reminds me of Touhou, and that's a game to talk about for another day. But, I grew a bond with the characters, and without trying to spoil anything, I felt like scum on my other playthroughs for others reasons. This is another one of those games that I can't go too into detail without spoiling anything, but, if you have not played it, this is one of those games that I think everyone should play in their lives at one point or another. I've bought numerous copies for my friends. 2.) Final Fantasy XIV I've been playing this game since it was remade into A Realm Reborn. I never got a chance to play it before it was remade, but I was told it was complete trash, so I can't confirm even if I wanted to. This game is my first and only pay-to-play MMO. I didn't like the game at first, because yet again peer pressure. I am absolutely addicted to this game, and am always looking for people to play with! My main is a Black Mage, and my name is I'm Triggered on the Gilgamesh server. Without taking up too much of anyone's time, it's got a very good story, and the newest expansion will be coming out in June. I have a lot of their merchandise on my desk as well. 1.) Final Fantasy VII BIG SURPRISE! Listen, I don't care how overrated this game is, this is the game that got me into Final Fantasy, and it's my baby. This is also the very first game that made me bawl like a baby. I'm very biased about this game, and is the best game that I have ever played. The materia system; WHY HAS SQUARE NOT USED THIS AGAIN!? Making different combinations for your attacks, and combining 'All' to a Lightning, that was amazing! I really enjoyed the story itself, and granted, people looked like the had toothpick arms, I replay this game quite frequently. Plus, this game is responsible for my love of silver-haired guys. I love you, Sephiroth! <3 There are so many other games that I enjoy playing as well that were not mentioned, like Kingdom Hearts. As much as I love the games, it's just not one of my favourites. Granted, they are amazing games, you will not hear me say otherwise. :) If any of you have any questions, or would like to talk to me more about games and what not, please feel free to talk to me! ^^ I'm...not that great at approaching people... Sorry for the long post, and I hope to become better acquainted with everyone! P.S. I also like anime. 0 players like this post! Like? |

hi Ashley!! Florida buddies ah, now you've inspired me to tell a bit about myself too! I'm shy as well so I'm probably gonna keep this super short. I joined Lioden after thinking I couldn't play Overwatch (currently my favorite game), hence all the references to it on my page. To my surprise though, my dad bought it for me and I'm super happy to be playing again. I played the free weekend when Blizzard did all that and I was hooked... but not by roadhog. As for other games, I used to play a lot of Legend of Zelda and Pokémon, but now it's just occasional. Minecraft was a big hit for me too until the server I played on shut down. So I can't say I've played a lot of games, but I've had my share! I'm excited to be in this group and learn about others! Where I live, video games aren't that big so being able to connect with people like me is great !! Oh, by the way, my name is Delani and I'm 18 !! I love making friends so hit me up if you wanna talk 0 players like this post! Like? Edited on 19/01/17 @ 19:48:32 by deewolf (#102844) |

Daww! I'm so happy that I helped inspire you! ;w; I never got around to playing Overwatch; all of my friends play it on their downtime from Final Fantasy. It's honestly funny listening to them rage, as terrible as that sounds. xD I'm glad that you're part of this group as well, Delani! ♥ 0 players like this post! Like? |

Howdy Ashley! Mind if I comment on some of the games you like? 1) I love Okami too! Though I will admit, I actually find Okamiden's story better. I've beaten Okamiden at least twice, while I never actually finished Okami (did beat Orochi though) 2) How cute! I love Pokemon as well! My best friend introduced me to the game, and my first Pokemon game was Pokemon White. Though I love gen 5, gen 2 is probably my favorite. If I remember correctly, Heartgold was the first Pokemon game I got after beating White, and I loved it. I also have Pokemon Crystal on my gameboy. So yeah, I love gen 2 >w< 3) Ayyyy, this is my favorite LOZ game too, for the same reasons! Unfortunately, I don't have a Nintendo 64, so I had to resort to listen to listen to chuggaaconroy rage at the game <3 Which I didn't mind. Until the 3DS release came out and I had the money to get it, of course, then I got the 3DS version. Even though it's literally just a port to the 3DS, I still like the feel of the N64 one better. 4) Undertale! Ah, yes, I'm total undertale trash. Like you, I absolutely love this game. Everything, from the story, to the music, to the characters (except for Jerry, screw you Jerry you lil sh-) made me love it. Won't lie, sometimes I go back to the game here and there and just talk to the characters, and seeing if I can find anything new. Undertale is so packed with hidden secrets, that I feel like I find something new every playthrough. Glad to see another person here who appreciates just how powerful Undertale is :3 It really cheers me up when I'm down (but, again, can also make me bawl like a baby. Won't say when though, 'cause spoilers, again) Seems like we have similar tastes in games! I will admit, the games that I didn't comment on I haven't played/haven't come close to completing yet, so I don't have much of a comment to say on those. ^w^ Welcome! 0 players like this post! I'm currently late-blooming into the Dishonored 2 hype because despite loving the first game more than anything on god's green earth I couldn't pick up a copy of 2 until two weeks ago, and working full time gives me little time to play. On top of that I have a backlog of Rise of the Tomb Raider so I probably won't be getting Andromeda on release - but I'm definitely hyped! I played the Shepard trilogy the summer before last and despite being generally unable to appreciate games with dated graphics - I'm a spoiled brat like that orz - all three games landed firmly on the list of my all time faves :3 I can't wait to seduce and shoot my way into a new galaxy! 0 players like this post! @KittyMachina haha jk, make me, you, Mack and some others in the squad and make them homeless. Don't control them at all, just watch. See who dies first xD If you turn free will to max I think some Sims can flirt with other sims? Not sure, but I'll laugh so hard if me and Mack's sim-selves end up flirting with each other. (Then they die because that's the challenge, last left standing!) Or make characters from a fandom and see who dies first, same scenario XD 0 players like this post! Like? |

Hello everyone! Aquarius will be gone for some time and at their wish I am the one in charge in the clan now. I'm not the right person to judge if I'm a good leader or not, we'll see in the course of time. I'll try my best anyway, as much as real life problems allow me to! The thread has been a bit dead lately, I might run an activity check raffle to see who's still out there. After that's done, you might expect a raffle with some items from the clan hoard. I'd ask you to donate if you have some things you'd like to be raffled. Please do not clutter the hoard up with junk like water items or bug decors, I wouldn't recommend putting food in there either - I roll over every day and it would simply spoil (or be fed to my lions, because I don't like seeing it go to waste). Decors, toys with many uses and other desirable items are very welcome and you might get something special if you donate for the good of our clan I would appreciate SB donations as well to let more members into the clan! If you have any questions OR ideas how to bring the thread back from the dead, feel free to PM me! I could run a poll for a new Game of the Week as well, if you still want that to be featured in the thread. Have a nice day everyone! Hermi, out 0 players like this post! Like? |
