Reason for Name |
Growing up, Rowanflame was noticed as a rather... fiery one at birth. Stubborn, hothead, brave, rebellious, adventurous. Everyone knew he was a fighter from birth, as he was eager to train since the first day he could talk. Because of this personality, near the end of his apprenticeship, he did end up having a major part in a battle, in helping it win- therefore, he was given the suffix 'flame' as a sort of illustration and symbolization of his personality. As for 'Rowan', he was given it as a kit for his dark ginger fur, named after the rowan trees

Personality |
Rowanflame is a determined and hard-working individual, who always takes his clan duties very seriously. The tom has a rather fiery personality, hence his suffix 'flame'. He is very stubborn, quite hotheaded, loyal, brave/courageous. Considering some of his past, the tom is very reserved, but if you do manage to break the stone called his heart, he is loving and protective, to the ones he loves. On the inside, he is slightly insecure and doesn't believe himself to be the best, which is why the deputy ceremony took the tom by surprise as he was named deputy by the Clan leader. Given his great quantity of fighting experience- since he trained very hard and rather violently/ruthlessly- he is a very good mentor, and trains his apprentices strict and harsh, yet good, as they grow up and turn to be great and loyal warriors. Adding to this, the tom has very 'leader-like' traits, and he makes sure that the apprentices he trains know that not everything is about winning and that bravery and courage first of all is the greatest quality for a warrior, and not strength- hence his quote/saying- which is slightly ironic, considering his size and strength. The orange tom ended up getting a few good traits from both parents. Silversplash; he got her charming personality. And from his model-warrior father, Blazeheart? Well, he got both the good and bad stuff from him; extraordinary strength, large size (though he is slightly larger than his father was at this age), handsome features, charming personality, but also his secret insecurity (though his father's wasn't as bad), and the fact that they both tend to get too passionate when it comes to loved ones, such as getting angry when something happens to a loved one, or if a loved one is threatened.

Background |
Rowankit was born to a beautiful, silver queen named Silversplash and a massive, handsome, model-warrior by the name of Blazeheart, and was born alongside a sister and a brother. At birth, his rather lanky brother was named Sparrowkit, and the beautiful sister was named Mistykit. Among them, Rowankit got both his mother and father's charming personality, also his father's size, strength, handsome features- but he also got a loving and protective very deep personality, that is hidden in the smallest part of his heart, only coming out for certain loved ones. Sparrowkit got his mother's slender, his own kind of lanky body, yet their father's good looks and training ability. And Mistykit? Well, Mistykit got their mother's beautiful looks, her slender and graceful body, and she got her father's charming personality.

For them, the 6 moons before apprenticeship took forever. As a kit, Rowankit trained a lot, for his father was his role-model, typically, so he trained as best he could during kithood, even if it meant he didn't play as much. Despite this, he was one of the biggest kits the clan had ever seen, and he was very feisty and 'warrior-like' as a kit, so a lot of the others liked him. Then the day of apprenticeship came. Yes! It was one of the best days of his life. First, his siblings got their mentors, Sparrowkit/paw getting a senior warrior and Mistykit/paw getting a more younger yet good warrior as a mentor, and finally it was his turn. To very, very few, the choice was surprising, but to most, basically everyone, it was expected. The kit got his father, Blazeheart- the pride of the Clan, the best warrior in the Clan- as his mentor. Things were looking great for him.

For moons, the two trained ruthlessly and rather violently, but the training was very great, turning Rowanpaw into a very good warrior, his father even saying, 'He's the best warrior I ever seen', and it was true, at least most thought. Finally the day come where he would be tested and turned to a warrior. The test was rather easy, and he passed with, well let's just say, 'flying colors'. Then the meeting happened and the three were named warriors. Sparrowpaw to Sparrowflight, named for his great ability in climbing, jumping, and running. Mistypaw to Mistystream, named for her gracefulness, impressive/great ability in fishing, and her great and extraordinary beauty. Then it was finally Rowanpaw's turn. The tom went from Rowanpaw to Rowanflame, named for his fiery, aggressive, courageous, and leader-like personality.

Starting from there and on, he was an 'exemplary' or 'model-warrior', as he helped the Clan win a lot of battles. Although he acted different- like a leader-type and brave character- he was, and still is, very insecure on the inside and didn't believe himself to be all that great, as many thought and acted like he was. Despite this, he was still very brave and wouldn't let his insecurity show. Only a few moons after he had become a warrior, the warrior, by the name of Froststar, became the leader, as the recent one had died from the always feared disease, greencough. Soon enough, Rowanflame was chosen as deputy, picked by the new leader probably because of his strength, heroism, humility, and intellegience. This event filled the tom with both pride and dread/fear, as he was scared he might fail his clan and that he would fail to uphold his promise, and that he would fail his duties as deputy. That he would disappoint. -horrible history, sorry-
