Crap, I accidentally bumped instead of replying with what I said.. lol.

I think if the button is allowed, you're essentially just getting rid of the temptation to slap the brute for heart shells. So, although I like the idea, I wouldn't want to cause a Heart Shell explosion by being rewarded when there shouldn't be a reward. The whole point in the slap shop/flirt shop IS to protect your ladies from over zealous brutes. :P If you're allowing advances/flirting - you shouldn't be rewarded for that, at least not in event currency.

Then perhaps it should be a random thing kind of like how slapping can give 1-3 shells, or even none if you can't chase him off. People will still slap for the three shells even though it's not guaranteed imo. I didn't even expect my teensy part to be in there. The main part is having the allow button.

Idk I'm kind of on the fence about this lol even if you were to allow the person to flirt, there's no cooldown of yours to worry about and they still have to wait out the remainder of the 15 minutes. I just don't know that this is necessary, and I agree that allowing the flirt shouldn't come with a reward, at all. If the notification bothers you, just go to the page and leave it? -shrugs- I just dont know if this would really be worth the minute coding. And if they do put this in place, it would be better off for next year, as this event is almost over.

Whoops, when I read back over what I said, it sounded a bit pointed/snarky. Sorry! That was definitely not my intention. I do like the idea of a allow flirt button, since I think it just makes things cleaner for people who are willingly not slapping people to go ahead and have a chance to clear the board so to speak. :)

I didn't read it as snark. I wouldn't have posted it if I didn't want some critique! You're right about this being late in the game as far as this year goes, but maybe for next year? :D

Obviously, I'm not just sitting and staring at the 15 minute cooldown; I do just leave the page. But clicking the X on the notification message regarding slaps takes you back to the flirting page. So if I have several lionesses bring flirted with at once and I've been returned to the flirting page a few times, eventually the temptation becomes too great, I say "fuck it" and slap them all.

Of course, there's not really anything wrong with that, I'm not upset with people who smack every brute in sight, that's kinda the point of the event! I just want the flirt tiers to open faster ^_^

In regards to the 1 heart shell reward: I still think enough people will slap for a chance at 3 shells that 1 wouldn't be that big of a deal. I mean, you get one for comforting a little downtrodden male, and that's not protecting your lionesses from anything, right? In other words, you already get heart shells for things other than slapping. I suppose the fix would be to either not get a reward at all or only having a chance at 1 heart shell. Either way sounds reasonable to me :) As FireFlye said, the main suggestion here is the Allow Flirt button :)

This is a great suggestion! I was actually just thinking about how there should be an Allow button, and voila! Here you are! As, if you do allow, you only get 1 heart shell, being you could get 1-3 from slapping. It'll put you in an awkward if you Allow, but fun nonetheless! In my opinion, it wouldn't bring much conflict between what to do, but that's just my opinion.

I don't support, only because of the slap shop.

The slap shop will take longer to open than the other one, if this option exists, many people will click on it if they follow the suggestion to guarantee 1 HS, this would unbalance things, in the worst case, not giving time to open the slap shop because everyone will vicious tapping on the allow option to get 1HS everytime.

i agree, i think people who want this button are people who avoid slapping anyway, so there's no need to add an incentive to not slap if people will do it, especially since the slap shop is already slower than the flirt

i support though, for those who choose not to slap
