Max | 4.5 years | German shepherd | Mentions: Arya ( open for interaction) |

Max blinked his eyes open and lifted his head from his paws. Struggling to his paws he stretched his limbs and a yawn escaped his throat. Giving his pelt a quick shake, he padded across the concrete alley way where he and his sister Arya stayed. He walked over to his sister whom he had spotted sitting atop a stone stair case nearby. "Arya," he spoke, his voice a rumble. "Any sign of Falling stars?" He laughed knowing that she was usually up late at night to watch the stars.

Arya | 4.5 years | Border collie | Mentions: Max (open for interaction) |

Arya turned her head to see her brother, Max. "You know me too well" She laughed. Leaping down the stairs gracefully she halted in front of her brother. Max was taller and large than her, he had picked up more of their father's genes. He had been a German Shepherd. Where as Arya had more of her mother's, a border collie. Seeing that max was half border college, Arya knew that he had a soft side hidden under his tough-looking build. She looked at his eyes and saw her mother's reflected in them. "You have our mother's eyes" she said proudly, before turning to give a quick glance behind her, down the alley way. She thought she had heard something, but she must have been mistaken.

Lucca | 4 years | German Shepherd | mentions none, open to anyone. |

Lucca ran at a slow pace along the deserted road. There was trash, plastic bags, and broken concrete. His pads were sore from the hard ground, and his stomach rumbled loudly, telling him to find food. He regretted parting ways with Tyger, as he kept a steady slow pace down the road, and in to the main city, with large skyscrapers and building that were sure to have food. He could smell something coming from inside a large structure that was brightly colored and looked fairly welcoming. He slowed to a walk and wearily stepped towards the building, he padded through a large stone area with white lines covering it.((parking lot in front of a restaurant.)) The smell made his mouth water as he came nearer.

Ooc: meh, writers block xC

Mercy | 2 Years | American Pitbull Terrier| Mentions: No one- Open for interaction

The female sat patiently outside the back door of the restaurant. Since being abandoned Mercy had learned that the humans that worked here were kind enough to feed her and her ever growing stomach. It had been two weeks since her abandonedment and mercy felt like she had been doing well for herself, now at around 6 weeks pregnant. Her stomach had enlarged to be noticeable now, but it didn't seem to bother her or the humans that fed her...or maybe that's why they fed her. Which ever it was Mercy was just content with being fed, and given the occasional belly rub. But even if everything was going well now the thought of what the future held still loomed over head. Mercy still had to find a suitable shelter and place to stay for when the time came to usher new life into the world, true to her nature though she took life one day at a time.

Stein | 3 Years | Catahoula Leopard Dog | Mentions : None

Stein walked through the empty city streets, it was a nice day in his opinion, which made scavenging such a nice pastime. He found a store that still had it's lights on, and easily shattered the glass doors, he quickly found an old loaf of bread still inside it's plastic wrapping, out of habit he looked around for humans before grabbing the bread. Stein quickly bolted from the building, running a while before slowing to a light trot proudly carrying his find in his muzzle.

Poison | 4 Years | Saluki | Female | Mentions: Phantom |

The Saluki finally awoke from her deep slumber and slowly uncurled herself from her small nest. She stretched and yawned, exposing her sharp K9's. She looked around at her surroundings, Phantom was asleep a foot away in a heap of fluff, the building they were sheltered under was an abandoned factory. All of the machines upstairs still worked by pulling a lever and pushing a blue button.
Outside Appearance
Inside appearance
Nesting site in basement

She smiled and looked at her friend. They had traveled together for a week or two now and he already felt like a brother to her. She walked towards him and pawed at his side "Wake up Phantom" she said softly. She was only soft with whom she cared for. When she heard Phantoms groan she smirked and turned around. She walked through the hallway to the stairs that lead to the machines and chose her steps carefully.

Phantom | 4 years | Caucasian Ovtcharka | Male | Mentions: Poison |

The brute was sleeping blissfully until he felt a familiar paw in his side. He groaned and slowly sat up. He yawned, practically roaring, He rose from his rather large nest made out of feathers, grass, and his own shed fur. He made Poisons nest as well, with the same materials as his own but with more of his fur since he wanted to make sure she was comfortable. He knew her background and made sure that she could handle herself against a larger opponent since she was indeed very weak, what she lacked in strength she made up for in speed.

The large brute lumbered out of the basement after his quieter friend.

constantine's tongue lolled out of his mouth while his paws pounded fast against the city's concrete. his agile form sped by and the scenery was only a blur that whizzed by. the night's air felt pleasant whipping through constantine's fur, but the concrete was harsh against the pads of his paws. after a few more fast paced moments he skidded to a halt. everything suddenly felt quiet, as the only sound constantine heard was the pounding of his heart against his chest. don't worry you're fine. everything's just quiet at night, don't worry about it. constantine tried to silently reassure himself in his head. however, the dog's anxiety got the best of him.

"hello, is anyone there?" constantine barked nervously. his voice echoed, empty off of the side of the city's buildings.

(Hope you don't mind I'm going to jump in on ya Mercy. )

Ajax - Male - 4 y 7m - Harlequin Beauceron / Mentions: Mercy

Ajax's large frame was held up unevenly by his thinner legs, his meals fading away as he couldn't find as many scampering and terrified mice or rats scrambling around in the deserted alleyways. His lungs seemed like they were filled his dust, which they most likely were. Ajax had hung around construction sites before and the dust in the rings mixed with the smoking cigarettes in his former master's home seemed to burn his lungs even though he had left those areas. It was was never a good feeling for sure, but he couldn't help but miss the promised meals after every won fight. Now he was lucky to win a fight and just get a few scrapes to go along with it. No more meals for those fights. Ajax's thoughts on food made his mouth water, saliva trailing down in a teardrop shape before it broke itself from the string of saliva that attached it to Ajax's jaws, hitting the ground. The brute huffed, parting his jaws to let his tongue loll out, his heaving breaths making him feel like he had been running and not just thinking about food.

A few strides later and the scent of his next meal hit him like a semi-truck, making his head lift up at a speed he had almost never encountered. A restaurant... Ajax's cropped ears sat erect ontop of his head as he began to quicken his pace to the scent before he again realized something. Another dog? Surely it was an owned mutt. Ajax let a growl escape his lips before he lowered his head and continued to trot towards the grayscale figure as if he were hunting some sort of large game. No. Just a dog. Close enough now Ajax could see it's enlarged belly, making him growl louder as he slowed his pace to a brisk walk and continued to stride over. Only a few strides away did the larger dog lift his head high and pin his ears back against his skull. He was now across from the mostly white pit bull mix. She had been fed so much now that her belly was enlarged! Was she a stray just lucky enough to feed on scraps here? Ajax huffed at the thought. Impossible. She must be a fattened guard dog for her humans. Ajax's lips parted to show his stained and yellow teeth, a growl slipping out as well. Ajax snapped from his thoughts and look at the door she sat next too, glancing at her for a moment before speaking with a loud and harsh voice, almost demanding an answer. "What is beyond this entry here?" Ajax hasn't looked away from the door now, occasionally leaning forward to take a sniff at it. He could smell the fresh meat emitting from the slightest gap between the door and door frame.

Mercy | 2 Years | American Pitbull Terrier| Mentions: Ajax

The concentration she held on the door was broken by the sound of a deep growl and an overly commanding voice. Tilting her head as she examined the brute she spoke in the only tone she knew a soft and sweet one. "Beyond the door are humans who feed me scraps" she spoke calmly unaffected by the males appearance and agressive tone. "I'm sure if you wait long enough they wouldn't mind giving you some as well" A gentle smile played upon her lips as she turned to look at the door once more. The presence of the new canine didn't seem to bother her none.

Lucca | 4 years | Male | German Shepherd | mentions: Ajax and mercy (indirectly) open to anyone. |

Lucca could hear voices coming from the back of the restaurant he stood in front of. He quietly inched forward. If he was quick enough he might be able to snag some of the food before the other dogs realized he was there. Once he reached the door, he saw that there was a handle on the door, just like the one at his old house. Remembering what Ty had taught him, he put his forepaws to rest on it. He lowered the handle with the force of his pads and heard a quiet creak. Slipping inside, he saw tables and chairs lining the room, there was not any sign of life there at all. Lucca made his way towards the area where the scent emanated from. He stalked forward, not wanting to let the other dogs realize his presence.

He reached a smaller room than the main one. There were no tables and chairs like the other, but there were silver boxes that smelled of food. The large German Shepherd leaped on to the counter and shoved one of the silver boxes on to its side. He had completely forgotten about the voices he heard, to excited to find a meal. Realization hit him as soon as he heard the box hit the ground. BAM The box made a metalic sounding smack as the noise of the box rung throughout the building. Lucca quickly leaped off the counter and looked inside of the greasy box. He found a large chunk of soft and thick meat. Clenching his large find between his teeth, the stray made a break for the front door.

Glacia // Female // 3 Years Old // Siberian Husky // Mentions: Lucca, Cain (Indirectly)

'Next time Cain is on scavenging duty.' Glacia thought as she neared the abandoned restaurant, a small huff escaping her maw. Her friend, Cain, had went off to search for a place to stay, leaving Glacia to find the food. She wasn't very fond of scavenging, since most of the time the food was very old. She would rather hunt, but there wasn't much prey in the city, and even though she had suggested going out to the wild, Cain argued that it was 'too dangerous' for a past pet dog like her. She cared for Cain like a brother, but sometimes he underestimated her too much.

When she got to the restaurant, Glacia noticed that the door was already open, and she tilted her head slightly. As she stepped inside, she heard a loud bang. She snarled, watching as a silver box fell to the ground, spilling out it's contents as it did so. Then, she saw a male grab a piece of meat and run off. 'I better do the same before more dogs arrive, that sound must have caught someone else's attention.' She realized. The husky quickly grabbed a piece of meat before dashing out the door, after the other stray. "Hey, you. That was quite a racket you made in there." She managed to tease the other dog through a mouthful of meat, once she had caught up with him. Her tone was more playful than aggressive, and she tried to make it obvious that she didn't actually want to insult him. If Cain were here, he'd probably say that she shouldn't approach strangers, but this German Shepherd didn't really look like the type to turn around and fight.

Cain // Male // 4 Years Old // Alaskan Noble Companion Dog // Mentions: Glacia (Indirectly)

Cain wandered down the street, looking around for a good place for him and Glacia to stay. Earlier they had been staying in a small apartment, but they had decided that it was time to move out. It was too easy to get cornered in there. Soon, he found what seemed to be an abandoned school, where the humans used to send their younglings before they left. It was a nice, large building, and if he ever decided to start a pack, this could actually be a nice location to set up camp. Deciding to go inside and inspect the place, he found a gap in the gate and squeezed through it. Once inside, he found a hallway with several doors, and he pushed open one of them to see a room full of tables and chairs. It wasn't a very interesting room, but it would be fine to stay in for a while.

(Wahahahaha)

Tyger | Female | 5 Years | Dutch Shepherd | Mentions: Mercy, Ajax, Lucca, Glacia…
The female stalked through the deserted streets hearing a far off howl and cocking her head in response. Letting out a quiet snort the Ty continued on as urged by her enraged stomach. The first year of living by herself had been easy, as there had been much food to scavenge and hunt. This year though was going to be hard...there was little food left after the naturally wild animals had found out that the humans had left. First the coyotes, than the skunks, porcupines and raccoons...now days an occasional bear could even be seen making its way through the streets after dark. Not to mention all the dogs, weather stray or former pet. Things were getting more dangerous for a loner, something Tyger could not overlook.

Wandering through the streets, silver brindled coat letting her blend in with her background the female tracked the occasional scent following one than another when a sudden bang echoed through the streets. Ty’s reaction was immediate, body stiffening, ears flattening against her skull as the memories rushed through her mind. In the war she had learned quickly that the gun was something a dog was better off avoiding...or instead the utmost importance to make sure that it’s user was not focused on a certain four legged target. It was not a gun though...the female soon realized...the sound too heavy...to ringing. Two dogs shot out of the restaurant each with a sizable chunk of meat clamped within their maws, heading straight for Ty before breezing past not seeming to comprehend her presence.

Ty was tempted, sorely tempted to follow the strangers...after all they did not need both chunks of meat, HER chunks of meat and she surely needed to keep her fighting skills intact. It sounded though, that there were more canines near the restaurant a more immediate target for the female. After all they were both in her newly claimed territory...and she could always follow the scents of the other two. Walking through the door of the restaurant Ty hopped on top of the counter...there was no more meat left as she expected. The other dogs were on the other side of the door and would surely slam through in the effort to gain a stolen meal. The would meet, instead the intense blue gaze of Tyger, who despite appearances was very very annoyed they had infiltrated her chosen territory.

Stein | 3 Years | Catahoula Leopard Dog | Mentions : Mercy, Ajax, Lucca, Glacia, Tygar

Stein walked down the familiar streets carrying his bread happily, he came upon the house he knew well, an old blue one with a Doggy Door on the back door. He'd discovered this treasure during a horrible storm, and decided it was a perfect place to set up camp. He walked through the Doggy Door, and quietly let out a satisfied huff, it was nice and toasty but his work wasn't done yet, he sat his loaf of bread on the moldy couch in the living room before heading back out.

He'd never been one to socialize, especially don't with dogs owned by Humans, you never knew when they'd stop being good enough and the Humans decided to dispose of the animal, Stein lost to many friends that way. Now the scent of other dogs wafted across his nose, making him roll his eyes slightly he would've continued walking if it wasn't for the fact that several scents crossed here making him nervous. Stein found himself lying in some tall grass watching some dogs through narrow eyes.

Ajax - Male - 4 y 7 m - Harlequin Beauceron / Mentions: Mercy, Tyger

Ajax nearly launched at the female as she smiled, a puzzled look crossing his face. Why was she in such good spirits? Sure she was well fed, judging by her large belly, but why so thrilled to be met with a former fighting dog? His ears were still pinned against his skull as his head was high. She was a very odd one for sure. Even if these humans did give her food every day, or whenever she came by, why wouldn't they not keep her? Something didn't quite click in the large beauceron's mind as he stared at her like she was some foreign object he had never encountered. Ajax's puzzled expression was soon off his features as he heard a dull crash, or something landing from inside. It was too dull and quiet to be any type of human kitchen utensil, and too loud to just be a sink. He kept his mouth glued shut, his face emotionless, his eyes looking almost empty or lifeless.

After a few minutes the sound didn't return, so he offered his own little encouragement for angering the being inside. A loud bark was emitted from the dog's jaws as he lurched his body forward a bit to make sure the sound of his loud voice was heard from inside. Something was in there, and it wasn't any kind human wanting to feed a few stray dogs outside.

Mercy | 2 Years | Merle American Pitbull Terrier| Mentions: Ajax, Tyger

The sound of the bang from inside the building made her cropped ears perk. Perhaps today was not going to be the same as it had been in the past. After all she had noticed the silence that seemed to have fallen over the city. The loud bark that was emitted from the male next to her jolted her from her train of thought. "Well I am going to check the front. Come with me if you'd like" she offered as she forced herself to her paws. Her ever growing belly was starting to become a nuisance when it came to moving properly. Quietly she moved around the building working her way to the front door. Which was open, the scent of other dogs made her cautious as she preceeded into the building.

Alura slowly entered the neighborhood, eyes and ears on high alert for any danger. This was a new section of town for her, and she had no idea just what she might be running in to. She padded forward quietly, making sure that she didn't make any noise that might attract unwanted attention. She was hunting for food, as her old neighborhood was running dangerously low, and the dogs there were forming aggressive, deadly packs. She was nervous, and on edge, as she worked her way through the bushes and shadows near the buildings, trying to get in and out without drawing attention to herself. She heard a loud bang coming from a block over, and, against her better judgement, she started to head towards the noise.

Max | 4.5 years | Male | German shepherd | Mentions: Arya ( open for interaction) |

Max was about to respond to Arya, when he heard a metallic-like crash from inside the building to the right of them. Max and Arya had arrived at this alley way yesterday, they had been seeking rest more than food after their day of travel. So they had skipped investigating the smell from the restaurant yesterday. The bang was followed by a loud bark. Is there a fight? Max wondered, he new there was food in the building, so there would be an eligible reason for one to break out.

He turned his head and flicked his ear at Arya, signaling her to follow him. He padded around to the back of the building to scout it out, he scented dogs, many dogs. Turning to Arya her woofed quietly "Ill go right if you go left"

Arya | 4.5 years | Female | Border collie | Mentions: Max, Ajax, Mercy |

Arya nodded, and headed off in the opposite direction of Max. Turning a corner she was caught off guard when she saw 2 dogs near the entrance to the building. A fierce looking dog and pit bull. Arya had trained herself in the medical treatments and how to take care of and help sick and injured dogs. She could see that the female pit bull was obviously pregnant. Glancing behind her she thought that she could run back around the corner and meet up with Max who was at the back of the restaurant. though she knew that at least one of them had most likly spotted her, so there was no reason to turn now. She wondered if these dogs were friendly, and she hoped they were friendly as well.

Lucca | 4 years | Male| German Shepherd | mentions: Glacia, Tyger |

Lucca was caught off guard when he heard the voice of another dog behind him. He turned to see a female husky following him, carrying some of the meat from the sliver box he had knocked over. Before he could reply he thought he smelled a familiar scent as he passed a bush. He slowed slightly, almost noticeably. Could that....No He thought regaining his original pace next to the other stray. He was slightly embarrassed about the noise he had caused. He flattened his ears slightly in embarrassment "A dog will do a lot for a piece of fresh meat these days." He Laughed around his find, slowing to a halt. They were a safe distance from the other dogs he had seen and heard by the restaurant.

Dropping the meat, Lucca huffed his breath, slightly winded by the run. A few heart beats later he was as energetic as he was before his stride. "I'm Lucca, and you?" He asked the strange female, why would she follow him? Didn't she know that if he was a different dog, she would probably either have her food stolen or get ripped to pieces. He gave her a slightly puzzled look, tilting his head slightly to the right.
