"Is that so?" She replied with a hint of curiosity, she didn't know of the grove of hares near the river. Flicking her tail she had trailed alongside him, wondering where they were heading. "Indeed, it is nice to get out and away from the pack once in awhile" she added, taking in the crisp air. "On that note, where are we going?" She asked curiously.
This was a new path for her, she usually stuck to what she knew and that was paths she formed on her own. She hated feeling lost and didn't venture very far, the river was her recent limit on how far she was from the pack. Made her feel uneasy, though keeping close to Nav most of her nervous feelings had been calmed down.

Locking her jaw and gritting her teeth, she tried very hard not to whimper out in pain.

"I can handle everything by myself, thanks." Her voice quivered as the pain rushed up her legs. She reached out, grabbing some herbs to press onto her raw paws. "Damn it, Judgement Day! Be more careful! The pack can't have a shaman trying to fix her own hide every single day!" Jojo hissed at herself, wrapping her paws without much care, wincing at her self-inflicted punishment. She tied off the bandages, sinking into her new bed. But she couldn't close her eyes. She couldn't go back into that torment.

"Aloe leaves. On the left." He said casually, looking at Judgment Day. Ertos had seen the burn marks on her paws and was concerned about looking into the fire again. She would certainly be scorched by the end of their test if she did it again. They would have to find a way to stop the fire from reaching her. As Ertos made his way out of the den and over to the main camp, he quickly spotted the blue splotched wolf. "Hey, Mahanii. I've got a few moments to get a bite to eat. Whatcha up to?" He asked casually, eyeing the pile of prey. The bear and caribou were still there as well as some other things. Ertos made his pick, a large winter hare that would be enough for a lanky wolf like him. Additionally he took a small hare to bring back to his mentor as a sign of respect.

Navdur
"Oh, you'll hear it in a minute. Trust me." He said with a teasing tone. Navdur hoped that she would like the place he had in mind as much as he did. When they reached a certain point, a soft pitter patter filled the air. Navdur turned around to Cerin and had a small smile. "Now here's the fun part. Do you trust me?" He asked, waving his tail a bit.

Mahanii slipped unnoticed from camp and ran lefting her injured leg so that she was running on three instead of four. When she finally slowed she let out a a howl of frustration. "Damn it, no one will ever understand." Mahanii laid down tears pouring out her eyes. "Why brother, why couldn't you just wait," she sobbed.

Ertos
The male trotted after Mahanii, sighoinv as he knew she was about to break down again. Here we go again.. Ertos though as he ran. He caught up to her easily since she was only on three legs. Seeing her in a condition so bad made Ertos want to help her even more. Walking up to her slowly, Ertos sat beside her and hummed softly, unsure of what to do in a situation like this. His tail rested on her back as she sobbed. Ertos stared at the blue paint staining her fur. Surely there was a way to get it off. "Mahanii, I'm sorry." He said simply, his blue eyes focusing on a nearby tree. Ertos felt bad that her brother had died and the least he could do was that.

(beep... Beep... Beeeeep.. Emotional ambulance coming thought! Doctor ertos, we've got a crier! I repeat.. We've got a crier!)

Mahanii continued to cry, *damn wolf why can't he just leave me alone* she thought to herself. She pressed her face into Erto's cream colored fur. The last time Mahanii cried into someone's fur was her brother, for a minute she forgot it was Ertos "Why did you leave me brother, why couldn't you wait," she sobbed "you were my best friend and you left me" she pressed in even closer. "Its been 3 years already, and I'm losing my mind without you, I miss your smart mouth, I hate that I don't want up to see you there next to me."

Ertos / Male / Shaman
Ertos was at a loss for words. Usually he didn't have to deal with this extreme of emotional breakdown. He stayed stiff, completely shocked. His mouth was open as he stared down at Mahanii. Looking around, he tried to scoot away from her and started walking away. He hated to leave Mahanii, but he needed to get back to his mentor. Maybe she would be able to help with what he wanted to do. Ertos walked of quickly, hoping that Mahanii would be too absorbed in thought to realize he walked off. The younger but wiser shaman's den was in sight. He had to do something to try to get Mahanii's mind off of her brother, he thought. The female wouldn't be able to perform her duties if she was always crying. If he could remove the paint from her fur, then maybe she would be more focused. Ertos also had to help Judgment Day with the fire thing. Yes, he had a long to do list.

After she felt the heat of a body leave her Mahanii looked up, still thinking it was her brother she got up still heart broken "thanks brother, I feel better now" she walked towards the camp. She had went to the fresh kill pile a pulled out a squirrel. "Might as well eat something" she gobbled the squirrel down quick and retreated back to her den.
