Soul had stared at the frozen reflection of himself in the silvery frozen depths. His crimson eyes glaring at himself in return causing him to make a 'Tsk' sound. He hated the way he looked, the way he moved and how fucked up his brain was. It hurt him to know he could never be whom he was before that day. To never really be happy again. Ears swiveling back, the brute growled low before striking at his reflection with his claws. Only water and shards of ice flying I to the air and onto the snow around him.

His attention, no matter how much he wanted to continue battering his reflection, went elsewhere. The sudden set of surprised and frightened vocals before his eyes landed on the new she.. Wolf? Dog? Brows furrowed in confusion for amount before he turned his growl upon her and glared down at her when she bared her fangs at him. "I'd put your fangs away or else mine while."

Watching her leader from the safety of the snow pile she had laid upon, the smaller canine had watched the male. Keeping her eye on him for a bit until another canine had ran into him, cracking a small snicker she had remained a distance- Best to let him take his anger out on the poor female than to try to skin poor innocent Cerin for pestering him again, though. He still might try to anyways.
Flicking her ears around Cerin had watched the duo in curiosity, wondering what the outcome may be for the small female. The pack sure has a lot of females around, perhaps drawn to the darkness that resides in the alpha.

She glared at him, standing taller as she peered up at him. Wait a minute, he hadn't made any advances. It was just a verbal threat! "Friend or foe?" She called out, trying to keep her now bursting excitement contained. He hadn't killed her yet. All the others she had met would have started attacking her by now. "'Cause if you aren't friend I'll just try to leave now. Look, mate, I've had a rough week and I'm just lookin' for somewhere to stay. You seem well enough," she muttered as her ears swiveled back in forth and her muscles got ready for a speedy escape. "so I'm guessing the prey runs well here? I can't really hunt, but I can sure fix a broken bone." Her mismatched eyes darted from bodypart to bodypart, watching for signs of aggression. "Look, if you call a truce I'll come up there. If you don't the only thing I ask of you is to make it quick. Wolf code, I guess." She sniffed, padding a few steps closer. "Sure as hell beats starving to death, that's for sure. Just pop me one in the neck and let me bleed out on the ice." Her voice was strained, the exhaustion setting in. The next move was his. If he was going to be stubborn and aggressive, she was going to be even more stubborn and aggressive, as long as her strength allowed. If he was going to play nice, she would honor that as well. Oh, please don't attack, please don't attack, she thought to herself.
