Cobra was given to him as a kit because he was a rare black lion, and black cobra snakes reside near the camp, serving as either prey and predators. It was also given to him because of his venomous/violent personality traits that were noticed early on. Strike was given to him later as a symbol of his impressive fighting (and hunting) ability, as it was incredible, even for a lion from the Coal Pride- who's lions were known for their fighting ability.

Cobrastrike is a determined and hard-working individual, who always takes his duties very seriously. The male has a rather fiery, rebellious, and brave personality, which is part of the reason he was named Cobrastrike, including his unique black fur of course. He is very stubborn, quite hotheaded, loyal, brave/courageous, and hard-working. Considering some of his past, the lion is very reserved, but if you do manage to break the stone called his heart, he is loving and protective- to the ones he loves at least. Given his great quantity of fighting experience- since he trained very hard and rather violently+ruthlessly- he is a very good mentor, and trains his apprentices strict and harsh, yet good, as they grow up and turn to be great and loyal warriors. Adding to this, the lion has very 'leader-like' traits, and he makes sure that the apprentices he trains know that not everything is about winning and that bravery and courage first of all is the greatest quality for a warrior, and not strength- hence his quote/saying, "Courage- above all things- is the best quality of a fighter, cub! Not strength.". He ended up getting a few good traits, and a few bad, from both parents. Creampelt; he got her charming personality, good looks, extraordinary skill, strength, stubbornness, and determination. And from his model-fighter father, Hawkstrike? Well, he got both the good and bad stuff from him; strength, extraordinary skill, handsome features, charming personality, but also the trait where they both tend to get too passionate when it comes to loved ones, such as getting angry when something happens to a loved one, or if a loved one is threatened- becoming vicious, merciless, and colder.

~ Notes: Typically, Cobrastrike is a "beast among beasts". Basically, he's a very large lion, one of the largest the prides have ever seen, and also has a relatively immense amount of strength. Despite his over average size and strength, his most noticeable traits is his unusually black fur, which is a rare thing, one that doesn't happen often in the lion species.
History:
Cobrakit was born to a beautiful, tan queen named Creampelt and a massive, handsome, model-warrior by the name of Hawkstrike, and was born alongside a sister and a brother. At birth, his rather lanky brother was named Littlekit, and the beautiful sister was named Duskkit. Among them, Cobrakit got both his mother and father's charming personality, also his father's size, strength, handsome features- but he also got a loving and protective very deep personality, that is hidden in the smallest part of his heart, only coming out for certain loved ones. Littlekit got his mother's slender body, his own kind of lanky body, yet their father's good looks and training ability. And Duskkit? Well, Duskkit got their mother's beautiful looks, her slender and graceful body, and she got their parent's charming personality.

For them, the 6 moons before apprenticeship took forever. As a kit, Cobrakit trained a lot, for his father was his role-model, typically, so he trained as best he could during kithood, even if it meant he didn't play as much. Despite this, he was one of the biggest kits the pride had ever seen, and he was very feisty and 'warrior-like' as a kit, so a lot of the others liked him. Then the day of apprenticeship came. Yes! It was one of the best days of his life. First, his siblings got their mentors, Littlekit/paw getting a senior warrior and Duskkit/paw getting a more younger yet good warrior as a mentor, and finally it was his turn. To very, very few, the choice was surprising, but to most, basically everyone, it was expected. Cobrakit/paw got his father, Hawkstrike- the pride of the Pride, the best warrior in the Pride- as his mentor. Things were looking great for him.

For moons, the two trained ruthlessly and rather violently, but the training was very great, turning Cobrapaw into a very good warrior, his father even saying, 'He's the best warrior I ever seen', and it was true, at least most thought. Finally the day come where he would be tested and turned to a warrior. The test was rather easy, and he passed with, well let's just say, 'flying colors'. Then the meeting happened and the three were named warriors. Littlepaw to Littleflight, named for his great ability in climbing, jumping, and running. Duskpaw to Duskwing, named for her gracefulness, impressive/great ability in running hunting, and her great and extraordinary beauty. Then it was finally Cobrapaw's turn. The tom went from Cobrapaw to Cobrastrike, named for his striking, aggressive, courageous, leader-like personality, and his impressive fighting ability.

Sandpaw is wary and suspicious of her neighbors, and is always on her toes in case they dare to start pushing her borders or causing trouble. Sandpaw is one of the most stubborn apprentices you could come across, "as stubborn as an ox", if you will. Though she is known for her sneaky ways, Sandpaw does not believe in going back on your word. If you make a promise, you must honor that promise, or your integrity as a warrior (apprentice) will crumble. When asked about something she would rather keep to herself, she simply does not respond, lies or deflects the question. With her body color being natural for the sandy Savannah, Sandpaw is very good at stalking, and fighting of course. She is a tactful hunter with the ability to sneak up on her prey over a noticeable distance. Sandpaw is very outspoken of her ideas and opinions. She's not shy around strangers, and will often command attention when speaking. In her need for attention, and in her overly-confident bravery, she can often get himself into trouble, thinking she can take on bigger or more opponents than is true, and speaking out. She's a rebellious lioness, and has no qualms about breaking the rules when needed, though she doesn't break the major ones. The sandy she-lion's ego is easily damaged. She will be the first one to jump with claws out to defend her honor, rather than tossing insults back and forth. Despite her more selfish nature, she does have a strong sense of loyalty to her pride and is proud of her Talon pride warrior blood. She has a disdain for kittypets and loners, and doesn't believe they should be allowed into a pride. Ever. If they are, she thinks that whoever welcomed them is weak. Sandpaw has always been a adventurous, rebellious, and mischievous she-lion, causing mischief for most of her life, never really growing out of her love for adventures. She is a rascal of all shapes and forms and will usually do rebellious and mischievous things. A lot of times, if given a reason, she can get aggressive and hurt enemy's, also having a rather strong build, despite the fact that it isn't shown- considering she's quite slender and has a feminine figure as well. The lioness is a very passionate female, for one, if you are a lion/creature that has managed to find a place in her heart and earn her love (friends/family/lover), she is passionate and protecting so, for example, if a lion/creature that she loves were to die, she would have trouble keeping it under control and would try hunt down who killed her loved one.

Sandpaw was born to a gorgeous queen named Brightleap, named Bright for her light colored fur and leap for her ability at leaping and jumping, and a handsome tom named Redheart, named Red for his redish fur/mane and heart for his determination and fighting ability. She was born into an average litter of three, her and two tom kits. Sandpaw, her brother Foxpaw, and her other brother Redpaw. Her brother Foxpaw got their fathers determination and training ability and their mothers charming personalty. Redpaw got their fathers looks- looking exactly like him- and their mothers stubbornness. Then there was Sandpaw, who got their father's strong will, fighting ability and their mother's stubbornness, hunting ability, and pretty looks.
Sandpaw and her siblings are mischievous apprentices, causing mischeif and being rebellious, going on adventures and the like. Sandpaw in particular is a trouble maker and is often stuck doing unfavorable chores due to his mouthy behavior. As she ages, she will out of this type of behavior and became a young yet respectable warrior who would eventually be admired by some in the clan, though she'll still have her mischievous and rebellious personality. This behavior will earn her the name Sandstorm.

While she seems to have a coarse exterior, and it might take a while to really know her, she is a very loyal and passionate female. Willing to stand up for what she believes in, she's not normally one to take orders unless she trusts the person giving them, exceptions including lions she is close to or like the leader, deputy, or medicine cat. To some and at some times (trusted friends/mate), Shadespots can be a very stubborn, almost child-like at times, but to others, she can be the strong leader she is.
