Prologue The rain pounded against the den, waking a young she-cat apprentice. Yawning, she turned over, closing her eyes. But outside was too loud to fall asleep again. Growling softly at the rain, and the occasional boom of thunder and flash of lightning, she stuffed her head into the soft fresh moss in her nest. Ah, there. Perfect. But she still couldn't fall asleep. Something had to be done that night. Groggily, she silently got out of her nest and slipped out of the den. Outside was suddenly eerily quiet. The rain that had been pounding on the den earlier had disappeared. Puzzled, the little she-cat let her paws take her where she needed to go, as she was unsure herself. As her paws silently padded out of the camp on the moonless night, she thought, "Hey, why in StarClan am I walking out of the camp in the middle of the night? What was I thinking?" She shook her head and turned back. But she couldn't. Her paws kept walking forward, louder this time. Thump. Thud. Thump. Thud. The young apprentice's eyes went wide as she looked around. Shadows darted through the bushes, making unsettling rustling sounds. Suddenly her paws stopped in a large clearing, far away from any of the clans territory. She took a deep breath in, scared for a life as the shapeless shadows inched closer, and closer, and closer. The largest shadow stopped in front of her. "Another one? Perfect." it sneered, before launching itself on the helpless she-cat. "Help!" the little apprentice screamed, her calls drowned by the shadows' evil laughs and sneers. Helplessly and unable to move, she was knocked to the ground as the shadows swarmed her. Soon, everything faded to black. She woke up with a start. She was... floating? She looked down, seeing her bloodied and bent body below her. Wait. Her BODY!? She was DEAD!? A young, pretty she-cat came towards her. "I am Spottedleaf," the she-cat said, "You weren't supposed to die so soon, you know. Anyways, come with me..." Spottedleaf said as she padded towards a bright light. The she-cat tried to follow, but she couldn't move! A shadow came over to her and smirked. "Little one, StarClan is a lie. Come with me," it growled. "But-" the young apprentice stammered, before the shadow grabbed her by the tail and dragged her to the Forest Of No Stars. She was a victim. ***WIP*** Name: Maplepaw Age: 9 Moons Gender: She-cat Clan/Rank: Thunderclan Apprentice Appearance: Maplepaw is a mainly white tri-colored calico with a lithe build covered by thick, fluffy fur. Built with a figure more for hunting than fighting, she tends to stray away from the play fights her older brother starts. Personality: She keeps a very prideful and a bit overconfident aura around herself, puffing up her chest to make herself look bigger as many of the cats that surround her are larger than her. Even with her loud and "Better then you" attitude, Maplepaw is a kind cat at heart and very social, willing to chat some poor warrior's ear off for moons at a time. Though she attempts to gain more friends in the clan, her sharp tongue and temper can cause arguments to stir. Likes/Dislikes: + +Maplepaw loves leaf-fall, the pretty leaf piles that decorate Thunderclan territory becoming her preferred playground. + - -She dislikes large and open areas, the thought of not having any trees for cover being scary for a cat of her stature. -She absolutely hates it when older cats would baby her, whether it be picking her up by her scruff or treating her like a tiny helpless kit. Bright amber eyes that seem to glimmer in the sunlight settle on a wide face, the tufts of white fur on his cheeks mixed with his neck fur giving him a rather fluffy mane. Made and built for the heat of the battle than hunting, this cat has large paws and defined muscles always ready to pounce and tackle at an enemy. Personality: To put it simply, Cedarpaw is basically the future poster boy for a respectable warrior. Brave-hearted and always ready to put his best paw forward, he can be somewhat of a pushover who has a very large heart when it come to his friends and loved ones. With his large stature and hefty paws, Cedarpaw thoroughly enjoys any sort of play fighting, the want to grow stronger cheering him on. Even with his kind heart and charming smile, Cedarpaw is not afraid to defend those he cares about from others, whether it be dead or alive. Name: Frostfire (Frost for the piercing blue of his eyes, and fire for his flaming red pelt) Age: 3 seasons and 7 moons Gender: Tom Clan/Rank: ThunderClan Warrior Appearance: Frostfire has a thick red coat with brown markings all around his body that camouflages perfectly in fall, the most obvious on his face. He is a purebred Norwegian Forest Cat. He is what is usually considered tall and buff. His eyes are a piercing shade of ghostly blue. He has rather sharp teeth and claws, great for a warrior. He looks terrifying, especially to enemies and strangers. His bulky frame helps when he's fighting and hunting, though his dodging is not the best. Though he is big, he normally carries himself to look smaller, almost as if he's trying not to scare anybody away. He almost always looks stoic and cold, though he is anything but on the inside. Personality: Though he looks terrifying, everyone who knows him knows that he's a big sweetheart. However, he is quite shy and barely speaks when he doesn't have something to say. He has his softer qualities reserved for people he cares about, like his clan. If you're anyone else, he'll act like what he looks like, the scary brute. In battle, he loves the adrenaline rush, the feeling of fighting, the taste of blood, the joy of helping, and being a great warrior. He has a habit of mumbling out his words when nervous, especially with new friends or crushes. He is socially helpless, even without the mumbling, most of the time, he's too shy to go up to others, but even if he does, they'll most likely be uncomfortable with his stoic face. Frostfire Is a hopeless romantic at heart. Though he is shy, Frostfire is quite fun to be around when he has warmed up to you. He has a very dry, deadpan sense of humour, though he can act very silly. Frostfire isn't a klutz, per say, but when not alert, he trips over his own feet sometimes. Backstory: Frostfire was born alone, with his kittypet mother and father in Sweden. The owner didn't know her cat was pregnant, so she took care of Frostfire until he was 6 moons old, then, he was thrown out. He lived on the streets for 3 seasons, but then he got caught. He then spent a while at the pound, only to get adopted by a traveling couple that brought him back to their home, far away from Sweden. He escaped it, of course, and now he is in ThunderClan, where he is accepted...kinda. Likes/Dislikes: Likes: Other cats (he’s been lonely all his life, of course he's gonna like other cats!) Being in high places The roots of really big trees Kits Dislikes: Twolegs His accent Bullies Strengths/Weaknesses: +Frostfire is very large and good at fighting +He finds it easy to climb and be in high places +He has an amazing eye for tactics and new moves in battle -His accent makes it hard to make his words out when he feels emotional -He is so bad at social interaction -He is still unfamiliar with forests…so he doesn't hunt well Relationships: TBA. Just the only full body drawing of him I have/of an old character) Personality: Salmonpeak's personality varies from time to time, sometimes from a slightly insane freak to a gentle giant. His act usually depends on the situation, and yet in this case, probably struggling to keep calm in certain ways. Likes/Dislikes: Salmonpeak likes to keep things tidy in his den, usually stacking the herbs perfectly. He also loves to go and hunt out herbs, mostly making it a game to find the ones that are uncommon, such as chamomile. And finally one of his last likings is to encourage kits into becoming who they dream to be. Salmonpeak's first dislike is enemies, ranging from loners to rouges, and sometimes isn't settle with invaders from other clans. He also dislikes most foods, hating the taste of mouses, rats, and pigeons. Finally, he dislikes those who usually gossip about others in the clan, and shames those who take apprentice training too harshly. Strengths/Weaknesses: Salmonpeak is known to be a good fighter, learning occasionally from watching apprentices train. Although his weakness to fighting is he only knows a couple of moves, not nearly as many as warriors do, but he does know how to wipe a Riverclan clean off their feet. He also has a strength of being able to find the best spots for where herbs are, but most of them are between crevices in rocks and under thick bracken, having him too large to be able to snatch the herbs that could possibly save one's life. She has a short orange pelt with swirling patterns that blends great into the grasslands of Windclan Personality: Dawnpaw is an easily excitable, hyper cat. She manages to calm down when hunting, but other than that, you can't calm her down. She is very outgoing and will try to make as many friends as she could, some however find that annoying. She is scared of all failure, no matter how small and cats yelling at her, she just clams up. Likes/Dislikes: Likes: Hunting (it gives her time to think) Running Her clanmates! Dislikes: The forest (she can't run there) Mean cats (lighten up!) Yelling Strengths/Weaknesses: +Dawnpaw is really fast +Hunting is easy for Dawnpaw +Though she is bubbly, she is also smart and fierce when she needs to be. -Can't accept her own failure and will make up a million ‘what ifs’ more horrible than the last. -Not good with fighting -If a cat close to her yells at her, she has a mini panic attack.
