Okay, so, I had a semi-brilliant idea. Here it goes:

WINGS OF FIRE x X-MEN!!!!!
Please. Hear me out. It sounds like a whacked-up idea, but I thought it was cool. Here's where it all begins...

You think the NightWings only experimented on RainWings? Well, you might want to think again. During life on the volcanic island, before the War of the Sandwing Succession, The high-ranking NightWings saw the impending doom of the extinction of their tribe, and decided to start a secret program to genetically spawn NightWings of their own. Countless hours, then days, then years went into the project before the impossible happened. X was created.

X, the name of the dragonet made during the project, was a perfectly shaped, perfectly engineered dragon that all NightWings involved in the program believed would be the savior of the tribe. With advanced telepathic abilities, he was truly an exceptional dragon.

Or so they thought. X looked like he was perfectly healthy, but from further examination, they discovered he could not fly. The NightWings, believing they were the perfect, unblemished pride, banished the young dragon for his disability, and the project plans were destroyed. He was sent into the world outside the volcano, where he found the Talons of Peace.

There, he grew up and found he had a talent for working with other growing dragons, and eventually teaching. He also discovered the full extent of his powers much later, where he could not only read minds, but control them. He did not seek revenge though, and decided to make peace rather than wreak havoc on his former tribe.

After the war, he was inspired by one of the Dragonets of Prophecy to start a "School for Hybrids and Special Dragonets" that were not accepted in their own tribe, but the school almost failed when the Jade Mountain Academy sprung up, and the school fell off the grid in X's privately owned mountain area. It became a school where only the rejected with abnormal powers attended.

That is, until, a sudden burst of enrollment showed up. X was curious to find the reason for the sudden spike in mutated dragons, only to find that the chemical that was mostly used to create him blew up when the volcano did, exploding into somewhat of a nuclear outspread, changing some dragon genes.

"Professor X", as he is affectionately called, started to become more and more focused on training the young to use their powers well and wise, which was fine with the rest of the world because even though more students came, the school remained a mystery to most. Now, the school is thriving, although some tensions within are beginning to arise...

Now, with that taken care of, here are the character positions:
Professor X: A patient, caring NightWing with telepathic and mind-control abilities.
Occupation: professor and head of school
Played by: me (sorry to those who like him :P)
Phoenix (Jean Gray): A SandWing that is somewhat shy, also an animus whose powers will eventually turn her evil.
Occupation: teacher, nurse
Played by:
Wolverine: a very outwardly angry MudWing that likes to keep to himself. His powers include having regenerative scales and cells and long, retractable claws that originate from being born of a mutated, red egg.
Occupation: roamer
Played by:
Storm: A bold, sassy, and sarcastic SkyWing/IceWing hybrid with abnormally large wings (even for a SkyWing) that can create huge winds, can also breathe lightning bolts (She can't do anything else.)
Magneto: an ex-friend of X who started on his own after an argument, hotheaded and strong-willed, also experimented on himself to give him powers of control over metal. (NightWing)
Occupation: antagonist? I dunno

Mystic (Mystique): an accomplice of Magneto who is...yes, mysterious. She can alter her voice and her scales to look and sound like any dragon, but does not have their powers. Just venom.(RainWing. Duh.)

3.) please stay on the lines of Wings of Fire/X-men when RP-ing (although I'm kinda leaning on doing the X-Men side of things, except with dragons.)

5.) I will take 5 new characters from the movies/books or OC's (that aren't overpowered or don't fit, so please don't get angry if I don't accept.)
6.) The length of your entry does not matter as long as its more than 2 sentences.
7.) If not enough people fill the slots (at least the main 5), and it seems like no one else wants to join, then I will shut this RP down and apologize to those who wished to join.
8.) please avoid extensive cursing.
9.) If someone does not respond in a day or so, I will recast their position (unless an OC)
10.) Please at least know what the tribes/abilities in Wings of Fire are and who the X-men are.
