When he was addressed by the girl, who had a voice just as kind as she looked, Kuroko gave a brief bow, like a butler greeting a noblewoman. "Hello, miss," he purred with a gracious smile as he lifted his head, straightening himself up. "How are you today? I was wondering if I could possibly ask a favor of you, not without something in return of course. I'll be sure to pay you back for it, if you like."

When the phone buzzed again, this time surprising Murasaki a little, as he had been very focused in his efforts to stalk every photo in Homura's phone (he could always use some blackmail material, after all). He smiled at the response, texting back with a brief 'Alright.' and waiting rather impatiently for Junko to arrive.

It took awhile before she finally did, and he jumped up to greet her only to be ignored. He frowned, tapping her briefly on the shoulder. "Heya, Sho," he said with a wave and gleaming eyes. "Yu's been passed out for maybe an hour now. I just needed a way to get you over here. So what's this 'Decapitator' thing, anyway?"

When the investigator was finally at his attention, Murasaki stepped back, as if avoiding whatever punches or slaps might come. Junko was somewhat notorious in the CCG for being an all-around badass tomboy, and him being the skinny kid he was, she could probably snap him in two if she tried hard enough.

He continued to click through photos as he listened to her, snorting at some and admiring others. These were cases he'd never even heard of... Then again, he rarely paid attention to the normal ones. "One reason, let's see..." he said thoughtfully, holding the phone closer to himself in order to get a better look at what appeared to be a dissected ghoul's stomach. Everything was just about the same as a human's anatomy, save for the small, irregular gland at the base of the spine. A Kagune, and a Bikaku at that. He always found those moderately interesting.

"Well," he finally answered, stuffing a hand into his jacket pocket and tugging out a piece of paper folded many times over. "We're supposed to be partners now. Same with Yu. Oh, also," he added, finally looking up from the phone. "I'll need to see your Quinque for a quick exam."

Deciding that her giggling response was a good sign that she was at least swayed by his charm, even if just a little, Kuroko shook his head. "Not at all a problem, Ayumi. The name suits you. I'm Kuroko, pleased to meet you."

He gave another bow, this one less dramatic than the former but nonetheless somewhat strange, like something out of a romance movie. "I could certainly give you a place to stay in return. All I ask is that you help promote a little business I run in the 07th Ward. I'm sure you could attract many a customer, being as lovely as you are."

A satisfied smile made it's way to his features when his new acquaintance agreed to the offer, gesturing in the general direction of the 07th Ward. "Rather far, I'm sorry to say," he admitted, turning to look Ayumi over. She didn't seem in any shape to walk the long time it took to return to his shop, especially with that huge suitcase. He wasn't so rude that he would force a woman to walk such a long way. "I suppose we could catch another train, though I understand if you're against the idea. I, myself, despise the crowded places. I'm sure you wouldn't want to ride yet again in such a small amount of time."

When the decision was left up to him, Kuroko gave a thoughtful 'hmm', brows creasing just slightly. "I would prefer walking there, if that's alright," he finally said, pausing briefly to hold out a hand. "Allow me to carry your bag, at least. I'd certainly feel terrible, making a lady lug around a suitcase without any help." He wasn't acting much like himself, though in a way he was. It was typical for him to flirt as a way of getting others' attention and, perhaps, managing to manipulate them, though he rarely did it to really try and build some sort of real relationship.

Taking the girl's bag, though not before looking her over curiously, noticing the faint reluctance she had in giving him the luggage. He brushed it off as a small amount of distrust, which was normal. Despite his charm, he was a stranger that she had only just met. It was reasonable for her to be skeptical. "I appreciate you agreeing," he thanked with a nod of his head, beginning in his way to the 07th Ward.

He stared steadily at the woman, surprised by the fact that she was already aware of their group partnership. It almost hurt his feelings, knowing she was still so cruel despite them being a team. Almost. He took the paper from her reluctantly, looking over the series of numbers. She had peculiar handwriting, but readable. It reminded him of her personality, in a way. "This is a trick, isn't it?" he asked knowingly, looking her over. It was kind of obvious, what she was intending. She probably wanted to get rid of him so she could talk to Homura privately, then again he could understand her reasoning. He himself could admit that he was pretty annoying.
