Lost in the Dark

You are a part of a mail running team of dogs used to run from Washington in the United States to Alaska on the other side of Canada. The trek is normally calm and even peaceful so long as you stay on the trail and keep moving, the warning of bears in area very real. But something goes wrong as you travel along the coast with your sled runner, a storm has blown in and forced you and the rest of your team to enter the foreboding Canadian wilderness. With the team now off course, your owner having died in the storm, and lynxes, bears, and wolves all suffering from the gripping famine starving them to death. It all comes down to whether or not these dogs can move back to their wild roots and survive among the feral animals that could be lurking around every corner. So far the shore line has been friendly and even gifting to them large fish that died in the storms. But storms are again moving in as monsoon season reaches its peak, and moving from the shore line could make them easy targets for the starving forest animals. How will they survive in this harsh environment, with the wits being raised by humans gave them.

Hailestorm Stables

Times have been peaceful in the valley. Predators scarce, the grass and flowers lush, the rains have been giving. Colts have not yet matured and fillies still stick close to their mothers, stallions always on the look out for others trying to snake their mares and young ones away. This peaceful times have made the herds lower their guards, made them stop fully looking for danger, and danger has finally come in the form of Man. Humans have decided to build a ‘stable’ at the far end of the valley to take advantage of the gorgeous horses living in the valley and turn them into a fine line of racehorses and breeders. A few colts suddenly disappear, fillies being kidnapped from their mothers and taken away during roundups while the adults are left behind due to their wild nature. This roleplay will take place from the point of view of these few colts and fillies how have been taken to be trained at the stables, and their desperate attempts to escape the horrid conditions of this stable and it’s ‘handlers’.
The slots for this one will be limited and I will allow at least two humans slots on top of the colts and fillies.
