Please read all the way through before hitting no support! Alright - so you know how the Tiger's Eye decor has a black rim around it when given to a lion? If you don't - have a look at these pictures. See that little black rim? I feel like it really distracts from the scene of the decor. Now look at it! A whole lot brighter - and you can see his decor better! Now for my idea. I don't think that the black rim should be removed entirely. I have spoken to several people who like it so why should it be taken off? I believe that there should either be an option to toggle the black rim on and off. Say I have Tiger's Eye on a lion. Go to the lion's page, scroll down to the decor list, there's an option to say "Disable Rim", or something of that nature. OR the black rim could be an entirely different decor altogether, that does not require the Tiger's Eye to be in effect. These are just my ideas - please let me know why you no support if you do! Without the black rim, we can't really tell if the lion is an actual adol or an adult/cub with Tiger's Eye unless we scroll down to the decor section and read. Since some people, especially the newer players, have no idea that the Tiger's Eye exists or what it does, the removal of the black rim will only lead to greater confusion. Besides, we can always layer the decor that you want seen on top of the Tiger's Eye :P 0 players like this post! Like? |

I've got to say, I don't see how the black rim is gonna make it any less confusing for a newbie. If a newbie sees a king that's an adolescent aesthetically, the black rim isn't going to make that any less confusing to them. If someone isn't sure if a lion is an adolescent, all they've really got to do is take a quick glance at its age. 0 players like this post! Like? |

...not gonna lie, I never even noticed this was a thing and had to stare for a good minute to actually see it, haha. Even though I use one on one of my girls. 0 players like this post! Like? |

...I didn't even realize this existed, but that's probably because my king uses a darker background. @Khellandros - just check the age of the lion, not complicated, although that was stated already by Rev. 0 players like this post! Like? |

I just put Tiger's Eye on my heir, and I didn't know about the rim. Honestly, I'd like if I could take off the rim. Support. 0 players like this post! Like? Edited on 28/08/16 @ 16:11:31 by Crow (#93898) |

I was going to suggest this, so I hope you don't mind if I bump your existing topic? ♡ Since we have the new "eye decors" that don't have the faded edges, I see no reason why this can't be tweaked. :) Also, maybe suggest having the faded black edges as a separate decor item, for those who like it. ^^ 0 players like this post! Please please make this a thing! The black edges drive me nuts! 100% Support! I really don't see how having the black rim is doing any good. A newbie who doesn't understand what a tigers eye does isn't going to understand what the black rim means either. Its just horribly annoying. 0 players like this post! Like? |

bump! can't support this enough- my king's decor is supposed to have a bright theme, but the fading-black outline completely ruins it. ;; like cerb said- the other eye decors don't have the rim, so why should this one? 0 players like this post! Like? |

Support! Great idea to have a toggle - maybe some people still enjoy having the memory frame on? 0 players like this post! Like? |

I've seen the vignette around, but I never associated it with Tiger's Eye before. Support; there should be a toggle option. 0 players like this post! Like? |

I wish that rim would disappear!! as another poster said, the other age appearance altering decors do not come with the black rim! I would however find it cool if the black rim was another decor all together. You have no limit to how many decors you can slap on your lion anyways so why not? 0 players like this post! Like? |

I was literally about to make a suggestion with this, but checked incase there already was one. I really dislike the black rim when you use it, as it really takes away from the beautiful look of some chosen decors, but it can add depth to the 'darker' themed ones... so your idea is a good one, a toggle will be great. shaaaare the hell out of this suggestion <3 aha 0 players like this post!
