Steve walked in, and she backed up instinctively.
"No, I am not feeling good." Was it a sign that she wanted to punch someone and he walked in? Why did he have to come in here right now, especially after the day she had been having.

"Damn," He paused and continued to move closer to her, "I bet I can make you feel real good." Steve was eyeing her up and down. James finished up his shower and quickly dried himself up, getting dressed in a black t-shirt and some jeans. He had been thinking everything over in the shower and now he knew what he wanted to say to her. As he walked down the hall, towel still in his hand as he dried his hair, he noticed her door open. He quickly stepped in, noticing Steve, he quickly threw the towel around him and pulled him back and out of the room.

Hearing what Steve was saying, Margo backed up closer to the wall and clenched her fists tight enough that a drop of blood fell to the floor threw rhe ripped shirt. Before Steve could get close enough to touch her, James ran in and dragged Steve out of the room. Her eyes were wide, and her blood was pumping fast, and was audible in her head.

After he almost threw Steve down the stairs and telling him a few things, he went back into Margo's room again, closing the door and locking it behind him. "You okay?" He questioned looking to her hand, the part of the shirt he had ripped and wrapped around her hand was soaked in blood. "Shit." His shoulders slumped and he took the rest of the shirt he had thrown on the ground and wrapped it around the other part of it.

"If it is possible, I hate that guy more now," she said, wincing as the new fabric was pressed to her hand. After the edge was tucked into a fold of the fabric, she looked away toward the wall. She heard banging on the door, causing her to back up.

"I won't let him back in." He looked back to the door, "I was having myself a nice shower before I found him in here." He bit at his lip. "I won't let him hurt you." He paused for a second, "I won't let any of these guys hurt you."

Margo looked at James. So far, he was the only one who hadn't scared her or hurt her in any way at the house, besides at the beginning when they were in the van.
"Well, that is good to hear. Glad that I have someone here won't." She hugged her chest with her arms, adding," I can't even trust my own dad. I never could."

"Listen," he paused, "Don't worry about him either, babe." He smiled at her, "I'll take care of it." He ran his hand down her arm for a second before turning to walk back out of the room again.

She watched his hand run down her arm. He then went to walk out of the room, but before he left, she asked, "Why do you keep calling me that?" Margo watched his reaction to her question. And how would he take care of it?

"What? Babe?" He questioned before shrugging. "Natural. I call a lot of people that, don't get the wrong idea." He chuckled before walking out of the door, locking it behind him and dealing with Steven who was standing right in front of him, anger on his face.

The door closed, and Margo let out a breath she hadn't realized she was holding in. She sat down on the mattress with her head resting on her hands, careful not to put too much pressure on her knuckles. She didn't really get why someone would call lots of people that, but whatever.

Once he had calmed Steven down, he went downstairs to get a bottle of water for himself, drinking half of it in one sip. James pulled out his phone and went on Instagram, looking though his feed.

Margo heard some yelling outside door, but it soon subsided, and became quiet. She repositioned herself so her back was against the wall sitting on the mattress, and scratched at an itch on her shoulder. Her thoughts wandered back to home, wondering how her mom was. She was probably a wreck, considering that she always wanted Margo to check in even if she was only gone an hour or two. She had been gone for days.

James finished going through his feed before taking a selfie with Seth and posting it was the caption, "Closest thing I have to a brother." This could be used as an alibi if needed, but he knew they wouldn't need it.

The nights of having little to no sleep were beginnimg to catch up woth Margo, and there sitting on the mattress, she began to nod off. She tried fighting it, but soon she slumped downward slightly and fell asleep.
