As she came back down from her stretch, she pulled her shirt down when she realized her stretch had rode it up her stomach a bit. She pushed some stray hair behind her ear.
"It depends how much they pay you," Margo said, shrugging her shoulders.

"A lot." He grinned, "Just about as much as a doctor annually." He chuckled a little thinking about that. "Crazy right?" He raised a brow, a smirk on his face. He ran a hand through his hair twice, fixing it a little bit.

"For each job? That is like $200,000!" A shocked expression had smeared itself on her face. It was a ton of money, but how could they do what they did regardless? She knew some people weren't right in the head, but jeez. "That is very crazy. " She caught his smirk, and sent one back, but then a thought crossed her head. "This job must make it difficult to have a relationship with someone. What do you tell them when you have to go away for long periods of time?"

He thought about it and shrugged, "Well, we take turns being the watcher, so we don't always have to stay away, that way it doesn't seem suspicious." James looked at her, "So I usually just tell them I have family things or work or things like that." He paused for a second, "And we have to split the money, so it's not as much, but it's still definitely a lot." He grinned.

James shrugged then looked back to the skylight for a while. Suddenly he got up and walked to the door, putting his ear against it to listen to see if anyone was around the door, when he was sure there wasn't he walked back over to her and bit his lip, "Remember what I said the other day?"

James got up and went to the door. He looked as if he was listening for something. She gave him a weird look, but suddenly he came over to her and bit his lip.
"Remember what I said the other day?" Startled by the sudden closeness, her breathing quickened.
"About what?" He was so close, she could smell the scent of soap, the piney scent of the house.

"Not letting anyone hurt you." He said in a low voice as he looked directly into her eyes, his flicking back and forth between hers. He still had his teeth buried in his lip as he waited for her answer.

His face was inches from hers, and he was looking directly in her eyes.
"Well, umm. I don't know exactly what to say..." They were kind of close to the wall. Her heart felt like it was beating 5x as fast than it was supposed to.

"Well, I was serious about it." He made sure to keep his voice low to make sure no one could hear him. "I'm going to get you out of here." He kept his eyes on hers.

Shakily, she replied,"Oh?" His eyes were piercing. "Do you think you could actually do that?" The thought of escaping, getting out of here was thrilling to her. She could get back to her life. And she was pretty sure he was telling the truth. He looked completely serious.

"Of course, I'm supposed to watch you at all times, right?" He grinned, he already had a plan. "So that means I can't leave, but everyone else can. And will." He explained, "Soon. I can't give you too many details right now, but know it will happen."

"Right.." His face dawned a grin. You could practically see the gears turning in his head. He said though that he couldn't give her the details. All he did was assure her it would happen.
"Okay." Would it actually happen? Was she going to get out? She tore her eyes away from his, and looked toward her feet.

"I wouldn't lie to you, babe." He laughed and stood back up looking to the skylight for a while before going back to the door to listen if anyone was there then left the room, going to his own room.
