EDIT- Re-visiting sense Xy is adding markings lately clearly not found on felines XD Maybe this could also be a RMA marking? Looking at my dogs today, who are both blue merles, I figured i would pitch the idea of this beautiful pattern I figure maybe do like 2-3 different versions, so there is some variety Example: Merle 1- big splotches (as seen in picture) Merle 2- medium spaced splotches Merle 3- minimal spotting also allowed with many different colors Idea for lethal white- chance of lethal or non lethal Merle in same slot in both parents- chance of lethality (low) merle in different slots in both parents- no lethal, deaf and blind/ shrunken eyes (again, low chance) One parent carries only- no chance of lethal white LETHAL WHITE MUTATION CHANCE |

Maybe even a ginger merle? Ginger seems to be the closest to a red merle in color. Either way, I support hard core! I have a blue and red heeler <3 0 players like this post! Like? |

I support 1 million percent :) One question: Would it be breed only or would it be markings or a base or how would it work? 0 players like this post! Like? |

@Simokey Its a marking Breed only, in real life if two merles are bred together, you get lethal white, which would be a cool mutation, but it would be limiting to implement it here 0 players like this post! Like? |

Lethal white would be a pretty cool mutation here though- maybe there's a chance, but it's not guaranteed. Or alternatively, the babies could just be albino instead of dying. 0 players like this post! Like? |

I supported for the pattern, but I wonder if the mutation is too much similar in appearance to achromia, and thus confusable with it? 0 players like this post! Like? |

thats true, perhaps achromia can just have a higher chance of happening with breeding of these markings? or make the pattern look the same, but with the shrunken eyes only 0 players like this post! Like? |

that would be pretty neat, but probably hard to code for as a specific pattern only mutation. would be interesting to see though :) 0 players like this post! Like? |

There is no such thing as lethal white in dogs, that's a horse thing. All-white merles are homozygous/double merles, and they're not bound to die like lethal white foals. I would support this if it acted like real merle and bleached patches of black pigment, or stayed hidden if the lion had no black markings. But that's probably more suited for dog breeding sims :p 0 players like this post! Like? |

OH YES, GIMME <3 And yes, gråbein is correct with the double merle. Double merles are usually deaf, but not always. 0 players like this post! Like? |
