Some species of feline show chest banding (not necessarily striping, not linked to striping necessarily, but banding the same color as their coat) similar to below:


That I have been really coveting because I love Asian Golden Cats. SO, perhaps it could be a new Under_____ marking? Under _____ 7? Where the under color is not present in the banding spaces, making the appearance of banding across the chest/upper belly/upper legs? Or have the bands be the basis of the marking, make it a chest banding?

Never done suggestions before, so yeah ^^; Sorry if this is uber awkward, just trying to give an idea of what I am talking about.
