They consist of storm like pelts such as; grey, grey-blue, black, light grey, dark grey. There are a few grey-pruple or white lions(Please ask me to be one of these lions). They also except loner lions & lionesses to join there pride causing some to be more of a forest or burned forest of colors. This pride has a lush jungle mixed with some plains and hills. There are usually storms in the area of the jungle, plains and hills. This year there has been a drought of water in the jungle, causing the Pride to search for water in a nearby watering hole that is slowly draining. Hopefully, they have rain very soon. ~Le Rulez~ *Do not be mean to other roleplayers outside of the rp *You may be mean to the other lions in the rp IF it goes with your role *Do not spam anything, it is very annoying to me and those around you. *Do not cuss, instead use things like: Snake-bile, Zebra-dung, etc. *PLEASE FOLLOW ALL OF THESE RULES! *Please read every post someone makes *MAKE SURE you read all of the rules on here. *THERE ARE NO POWERS! *If mating please fade out and wait for the rp to move a bit before rejoining the rp *Two must agree to mate & to have cubs in the rp *No power moves *You may die if you wish, but may join later in the rp as a loner lion/lioness or as a cub *INCLUDE EVERYONE! *REMEMBER: I(Niku) only controls the weather in the rp! (( Wasn't sure if I could get the rp going or not, so I wrote up a post at least XD Hope this is okay, if not I apologize. Just figured we were a go since you posted up the weather ^^ )) Naerah yawned and pushed herself to her paws before giving a full body stretch of sheer laziness. The warm sun beat again her silken golden fur, rising her temperature. She pawed the ground and stirred up some dust before a chuff spilled from her mouth while rounded ears flickered at any and all sounds. Bright eyes scanned her surroundings and scented the oncoming rain that would come soon enough. With a flick of her tail, she padded off from her shadowed resting place to explore a bit and find something to amuse her, which happened to be a pile of old bones. When she slapped the dried out bones around for a bit, she sat back and scanned her surroundings again as well. Just where was everyone at? +_+_+_+_+ Kyon was wide awake and wired like most cubs would be. His lighter fur helping him to blend in with his surroundings. Being as his attention span was so short, it wasn't long before he noticed a locust clinging to a slender blade of yellowed grass. With dilated eyes, he low crawled towards the bug and wiggled his rump from side to side in preparation to pounce. It wasn't long before he lunged at the locust, surprising it as it was captured beneath a playful paw and soft paw pads. Kyon didn't kill the bug though, but removed his paw and watched the bug fly away for its dear life. With the bug flying away, Kyon purred deep within his chest which puffed up from being so pleased with himself. A moment later, he sent out a curious call, trying to locate the rest of the pride. 0 players like this post! Like? |

((I to was waiting for a starting post lol, if no one else does, I at least appreciate your starter haha)) Chandra | Hunter | Mentions Naerah Padding slowly through a section of tall golden grass, Chandra's dark chocolate coat flashed in stark contrast as she moved with supple grace and stealth. With ears laid flat against her head, her body was held low to the ground, her hind paws following in the steps of her front, and her amber eyes, sharp and intense, focused on something ahead. Every movement she executed spoke of a lioness on the hunt, ready to end some poor creatures existence in order to sustain her own. But it was not prey she was hunting this morning, no, it was the dark golden form of her younger pridemate, Naerah, who appeared to be completely unaware of her presence. Grinning to herself, she crept up ever so slowly, before she bunched her muscles and sprang from the grass with a loud, exaggerated roar. Pouncing on her pridemate and attempting to wrap her paws around her neck in a mock kill hold, though she was being strictly playful. (It's fine! I was waiting for someone to start it and if not after a week or so I was gonna do the starting post) Okami watched Kyon play with the locust before he called out for his pride and her sighed before getting up from the spot he was watching the cub and approached him. "Hey there Kyon." The White lion said with a soft purr. "Do you want me to escort you back to the pride's camp? You know you aren't suppose to be out in the plains, you are suppose to be in the jungle with the others in the camp, and if they weren't there I will talk to the leader." His ears twitched slightly in annoyance, only glad that he was watching the young cub so he didn't get attacked or stolen by some other predator. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Naerah had been so focused on listening for danger that she forgot to pay close attention to what was lurking towards her. The slow side to side sway of her tail tip moving in time to the grass around her that offered a small amount of camouflage. Then it happened. Her ears rotated towards the roar as she was pounced upon playfully. She felt the paws wrap around her neck as she toppled over with a surprised sound. It wasn't long though before she fell into a fit of laughter and tilted her head to look at Chandra. She put on a teasing voice and coughed dramatically. " You got me..... OHHH you got me!!!!!" She rolled to her side in a 'play dead' position and even rolled her tongue out for added effect. After a few moments, she cracked an eye open and eyed the other lioness. " You did very good!! I didn't even hear you coming either!!!!" +_+_+_+_+ Kyon puffed up like a little ball of fur when Okami approached him. He had been slightly startled by the white lion but flicked his ears to listen. The look of worry on Kyon's face shows he had forgotten about not being out in the plains. He had just followed one thing after another and before he knew it... here he was!! " I'm sorry.... I had such a fun time playing I didn't noticed I had wondered away!!" Kyon was a very playful little cub and sometimes ended up whisked away by his own paws to explore and investigate. He looked up at Okami before rubbing against the older lion's front paw gently. Since Kyon was the youngest of their pride, being taken in as a small little runt, it didn't give him another lion his own age to play with. " What brings you out to the plains anyways Okami? Vendetta had been patrolling the territory, her eyes scanning the vast horizon for any sign of potential rain. But the sky was as clear as ever, and the sun burned the landscape. A hefty sigh escaped her maw as the plains came into view. As her paws carried her forward, she was surprised to see a white dot in the nearing distance. When she finally got close enough to tell that the speck she had seen was Okami, she was supposed again to see that one of the pride's youngest members was with him. "Okami. Kyon." He raised his head to see Vendetta, glad he didn't have to answer the cub. "Good morning Vendetta, I was just taking Kyon on a stroll when he started to play with a bug and he went into the plains, I was just making sure he was safe." Okami looked down at the cub with the look of that he shouldn't speak up unless told to. He looked back at the female with a nicer look in his eyes. "Are you and a walk as well?" He asked making sure Kyon didn't walk away from the two gossiping lions. He didn't want to loose the only cub in the pride. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Naerah chuckled softly as she was released from the paws of her pridemate before she pushed herself back up into a sitting position. " You speak good words there. Sadly, I should have known you were there, but alas I was listening to any sounds of danger... that missed the sounds of danger. " Boy wasn't that a mouthful if she ever heard one!! " Ah, well I was enjoying the sun and took a small nap... though I was really just enjoying myself and being lazy for a change." Her ear flicked at a pesky fly before she heaved quite the dramatic sigh. " As for everyone else, they are scattered to the winds.... some here and some there.... " She shook her head before laughing a bit. " Haven't seen anyone else other than you ALL morning!!" +_+_+_+_+ Kyon felt his fur bristle a bit at Okami's behavior towards him. Not to mention how Okami looked more annoyed with the cub but seemed friendly to the female. Kyon knew if he wasn't being watched like a hawk he would have slunk off elsewhere... found something to play with. Grownup talk was still confusing to Kyon as well and before he knew it his ears flattened against his head as he just deflated. He flopped down onto the ground and settled his head down on his paws while his tail swayed slowly. While he let the other two lions converse among themselves, his eyes managed to land upon a trail of ants carrying bits of items for their home. Before he knew it, he slunk towards the ants, but made sure to remain close to Okami and Vendetta. He sat, ears perking back up as he watched the moving line and then reached out to faintly paw at them. It wasn't enough to disturb the ants, but was enough to keep the cub entertained for the moment. Though he made sure to keep a listen out to the other pride members since Kyon didn't feel like being scolded for wandering away. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Vendetta could tell that Okami was covering for the cub, but she knew Kyon all to well. Though Vendetta seemed to be a tough lioness around older lions, a cub was a different story. "I was actually out looking for another water source, or sighs of rain" she sighed softly at her lack of luck in spotting either. Vendetta's attention turned away from Okami and towards Kyon who seemed to have taken interest in the ants on the ground. "Perhaps Kyon would like to tag along with me? After all I do see many New and Interesting things while I'm out" her raspy voice spoke as if trying to get the cubs attention. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Kyon turned around so quickly as Vendetta's suggestion, his eyes widened in surprise. " COULD I? I mean... you wouldn't mind me tagging along? I don't hardly ever get to tag along!!! " The young cub was practically jumping in place, his paws shifting into the earth in his eagerness all of a sudden. " I love new and interesting things... AND i could help you look for a water source.... oh... do a rain dance maybe to!!" Once the idea was put into his head, the little cub couldn't stay still for anything. Zylis padded quietly through the jungle while he made a low purring growl from time to time. He had gone off to patrol and make sure no dangers were coming their way. His full mane was more puffed up than normal, as though sensing the rains that were sure to fall later that day. He could only hope since it would help the limited water issue. His bright eyes moved around, looking for any other possible members of the pride. With a swish of his tail he sauntered off once more, keeping an eye and ear out, curious to know what everyone was getting into. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Okami looked down at Kyon and sighed. "Not that I don't trust you or a cub, but I would like to tag along with you as well. It would be safer and better from hyenas, not to say you can't take care of yourself on Kyon, but it would be safer just in general." He stated knowing they would either be separated or together, though it may be better if they were together. Vendetta snorted with a slightly agitated with Okami's comment about protecting the cub. There was little to no doubt thathat Vendetta could protect Kyon if it came down to it, after all what kind of warrior would she be id she couldn't. She turned away from Okami and turned to the overly excited cub. "Now Kyon if you want to come with me have to follow my most important rule" she put on a serious face 0 players like this post! ( Sorry for the delay.. TONS of severe thunder storms knocked out the power... @_@ Should be fixed tomorrow... >_> hate thunder that rattles the walls haha ) Kyon blinked, ears perked up as his head canted slowly to the side. Honestly, he was just happy they were going out to do things!! He had a lot of pent up energy, and he enjoyed spending time with Okami, even when he got lectured. His attention moved to Vendetta when she mentioned a very important rule. He puffed out his chest and made himself sit up a bit straighter to show her he was listening. " Does this men Okami has to follow the rule as well ? " Kyon seemed happy that Okami wanted to come tag along and didn't understand why some might be irritated with another. It was all a fun, learning experience to the little cub. " I'll follow your rule.. it's like a very important game... " The cub often went out with Zylis since the older male made the rules into a game, so Kyon always listened to him. Vendetta made it sound like a game that HAD to be followed so he was curious to her rule. 0 players like this post! Like? |
