I've noticed that a lot of people intending to sell their cubs don't always do cub training. I don't know why, as it's not overly difficult to pop in once a day and pick a random thing to train them in. However, sometimes it's hard. To tell if actual cub training has be done or not. Specifically if buying an adol from someone with Decent stats and a bit of training on the bar. Ex. Bought an adol with very high stats. It was already pretty old, and only had three days to be able to get the bar done. Since it's got high stats, you of course want it to age up with more stats. It had only 6% of it's training done, and assumed it was for cub training just because taking it out on patrol's probably wouldn't be much use and they probably had other one's to patrol that they were keeping, so waste time patrolling what you won't keep? Stayed up all night, put in GB and SB to bring it to 100% so I get stats. On rollover, I find it's only earned 6 stats... Well, okay then. This is a frustrating occurrence, and I'm sure I'm not the only one that it's happened to. When you find the perfect lion/ess for sale and want to improve it. Have to crunch to raise its bar, only for the payout to be not worth it. So I have two possible suggestions to help improve this. 1. Up the stat earning a little bit even if we don't get cub training done. I've Never received less than 40 stats with cub training and full bar, and some people have said to have earned over 100. Even without cub training, we should be able to get at least 15-30 stats if we get a 100% bar in the time limit, otherwise it just seems like a waste of time 2. Make some form of indication if the training is ACTUALLY cub training or not. The bar itself is called cub training and continues into them being an adolescent until adulthood. But there's not any indication showing if they actually went through CUB training or if it's from going out with lioness hunts or sub males on patrol's while adols. Which can make it difficult to know if it's worth your time to put into them if you've purchased them off the market. Maybe have at least a * next to the Cub training title that way we actually know if it's worth putting time and effort into it. Without Cub Training: Cub Training Experience - 100% With Cub Training: *Cub Training Experience - 100% Feedback and Additional ideas/edits to help improve this are always welcome ! Other Idea's Thoughts: Perhaps the cub training portion shows up at a different colour, and the adol training shows up as another? ~ Kraft (#1105) |

re: point 2 maybe separate bars? or you could hover over them and there'd be a popup like "2% cub training, 65% adolescent training" 0 players like this post! Like? |

I thought about those points both. But I think two different bars would take up too much space on the page, and I doubt both would be able to be filled completely if that was the case. And hovering isn't a bad idea, except I'm pretty sure a lot of mobile users can't actually see the hovering. At least not very easily. 0 players like this post! Like? |

hmmm maybe hovering for computer users and like a tap would bring up the same thing for mobile users (with another tap putting it back)? 0 players like this post! Like? |

Ooh, yes, I like that idea as well. I'll add that as a additional suggestion/other idea section. 0 players like this post! Like? |

I have posted on other topics that cub training should be taken into account when deciding on price when you are selling, but with the unbalanced gain in stats between cub and adolescent training it can lead to false pricing if cub training was skipped then the numbers made up with adolescent training. This suggestion would definitely stop that happening. I have been working with some other people to work out cub training stat gains, if 28+ % training is done as a cub then at adulthood from 100% trained you will almost certainly get 85+ stats. I haven't heard of anyone getting over 100 stats from any less than 31% trained as a cub. 0 players like this post! Like? |
