I'm here to suggest tints/transparent color overlays for our lions. ----- Why? Because a lot of the backgrounds are colored a certain way that make lions stand out almost painfully. The most glaring examples for that are the nighttime backgrounds - where your lion is bright as if it is lighted up by some magical source since no lightsource is visible. A blue tint decor would solve this 'problem'. Other Backgrounds depict setting suns - an orange tint would halp your lion look like it actually was standing in the sundown. Or the Misty hills background which would work lovely with a yellowish tint - making your lion look like it stands in the dusty mist rolling along the hills. ---- How? It would be a very easy thing to do. Basically its nothing more than a semitransparent overlay fitting over every lions form. There could be a dynamic one too - changing with a corresponding set of backgrounds in their day night cycle. --- Problems? Well not any I could think off. Feel free to add any you find? Only thing comming to mind could be that other players might get confused about 'new colors' - but the same would be true for many other decors that in one way or another change a lions appearance (custom manes etc.). -- Additional bonus? Your Maltese lion not blue enough? Want to get a deeper red into your maroon or fiery lady? Well if you use the tint decors you might color your lions in special and stunning ways - make those rainbow colored lions look more natural or pep up your NCLs with some fancy colors. |

The only thing that I could think of that makes this idea... less than ideal is the fact that décor will not be covered by the tint. So while someone's ice king is finally blending in with the dusty Savannah, their décor is not. A complete tiny could be made that covers the entire image, however this will also alter the background's color. Other than the fact that a tint won't solve the décor being too bright, it's a pretty neat idea! 0 players like this post! Like? |

Perhaps the tint could be an attached overlay of whatever background it is? That would have the background be the furthest 'decor', and the tint the 'closest' that way it would cover everything within the image, not just the lion.~ 0 players like this post! Like? |

Great Idea. The non existent light source is so funny. I almost died inside laughing. 0 players like this post! Like? |
