About the pack:

In the forest, there are many wolf packs there. However, none are exactly like any other, each one being unique. One of those packs is the Howlers of the Night Pack, or sometimes nicknamed "Howler Pack" or "HOTN Pack". While the ranks are much like other packs, they are slightly different. This pack is known for its many rare traits in its pack members, ranging from unusual eye colors to certain "powers" that only a few wolves have. The pack is mostly dominated by female wolves. Every wolf in the pack is unique in their own way. Lead the life of a wolf and discover the pack's secrets.

Rules:

-Be respectful. (Yeah, you saw that rule coming, didn't ya?)
-The powers cannot be too godmodded. They can be used as an advantage, but cannot be used in challenges and cannot be used to kill other characters too easily.
-Speaking of, you MUST have permission from the user owning the character to kill off said character.
-There is no limit to how many characters you can have at once, but if it's obvious you cannot handle the amount you have, I will ask you to get rid of a few.
-The TOS of Lioden also applies to this roleplay.
-You ARE allowed to swear, but not to the point where pretty much every third or fourth word is a swear. Because it just gets annoying and sometimes even offensive if done too much at once.
-While I am taking all literacy levels (because hey, you can still learn to be a better roleplayer, right?) I ask that each post is AT LEAST 4 sentences long. (And no, the "fragment sentence/short sentence loophole will not get past this. I want complete sentences.)
-Realistic pelt colors only. Your character can have unnatural eye colors, but no sparkledogs fur-wise.
-And also, no mary-sues/gary-stus.
-When it comes to breeding, both players (and both characters!) must agree.
-Fade to black/skip/end with something simple whenever necessary, such as mating, extremely graphic scenes, ect.

Challenging:

You can challenge another wolf of the rank you want. If you win, you get the rank. The wolf that loses becoems an Xi, a very low rank only one slot above omega but still subject to the same treatment as an omega. If you are a hunter, you can challenge to be a warrior. If you are a warrior, you can challenge to be either Lead Warrior, or beta. Only the beta can challenge the alpha.

Rank list:
Alpha female: Highest-ranking female in the pack, and highest-ranking wolf in the pack in general. Mate of the alpha male.
Alpha male: Highest-ranking male in the pack. Mate of the alpha female.
Betas: Heirs to the alpha, one for each gender. Second-highest ranking in the pack.
Healer: Very high ranking because of their talent in, you guessed it, helping pack members that have injuries, an illness, or both.
Healer Apprentice: Exactly what the rank says.
Gamma: Elder pack members. Obtained when a character reaches the age of 8 years old.
Lead Warrior Female: Exactly what the rank says.
Lead Warrior Male: Exactly what the rank says.
Warrior: Fighters of the pack.
Lead Hunter: Leads during hunting parties. Can be either gender.
Hunter: Exactly what the rank says.
Psi: Wolves that are training for an adult rank. Obtained at 1 year of age, and said Psi becomes either a hunter, warrior, or healer, at 2 years old.
Pup: Baby wolves.
Xi: Wolves who had lost a challenge for their rank.
Omega: Lowest of the low in their pack.

Genes and Passing Rates:

Most major traits come from the female wolf, but some can come from the male wolf too. A wolf wolf may possibly be carrying a power trait without actually having it. If this is the case and said wolf is female, there is a 50% chance of it passing. If it's a male wolf, it will not pass. The only possibility of the power trait passing from the male wolf is if said wolf actually has the power, and if that's the case, there's a 70% chance it'll pass. If the female wolf has the power, there's an 80% chance it'll pass.

Fur colors and eye colors have a 40% chance to pass from the female, 40% chance from the male, and 20% chance to be from neither and just be a random color. All other traits are random.

-None. I'd be very happy if we could keep it that way for a while.

-It takes place during the Middle Ages, where there were kingdoms and all that.

Other:
-It takes 3 roleplay days for a pup to be born after breeding. And after a breeding, it's not guaranteed there'll be a pup from it. (Because hey, if the characters want to breed for pleasure, well why not?)
