Rebecca J. Jess H. It was a typical morning inside the underground facility. The large lightbulbs towering over the terracing where the 'two' and the rest of the mutants lived in were slowly being powered on, and with this fake sunrise one of the Red House District's habitant awoke. After a good 'night's' sleep, the double-personality femme was currently in her 'Rebecca; Jekyll' stage. On a large bed, the delicate and peacefully slumbering girl laid, covered unded her bed sheets up to her shoulders and a hand under her pillow for support. Eventually, the bright light coming from outside a window in her room made her eyes open. A groggy groan escaped from the small woman's throat, and she shielded her face from the rays of light by hiding under her pillow. "Guh... i-it's too early..." She grumbled, eventually giving up from the oddly uncomfortable warth her oen breath generated underneath the pillow, and just sitting up on her bed, before rubbing one of her eyes with a closed fist. Soon enough, she was up on her feet and making her bed. Folding the bed sheetsfor later and rearranging the pillow sheet, before slowly walking towards the window letting in the annoying light. "Good morning, everyone..." She mumbled, mostly to herself. Before she walked away to get dressed and start her day up. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Lyndi // Female // Reptilian Physiology // Outfit // Location: House #865 Mentions: None [Open for Interaction] Lyndi slept peacefully in her bed, all cuddled up in her blankets. She was hoping to sleep in a bit longer, but the annoying light from outside shone into her room and onto her face, making her slowly open her eyes. She squinted for a few moments, allowing her eyes to adjust to the new lighting, before pushing herself out of the bed and glancing around the room. She didn't have a roommate yet, which she was happy about, but sometimes she felt a little lonely. She was fairly new to this arena, and she had only been here for five days. She had only gone out once on the first day to stock up on food, and the previous four days she had spent locked up in her room, reading books. Today she had decided that she'd finally go outside. She wanted to try to make some friends. Plus, she was running out of food. She went to the bathroom and brushed her teeth and made her hair look decent. Then she slowly walked over to her closet and searched for a decent outfit. Her closet was filled with skirts, t-shirts, and dresses. She couldn't wear pants because if she turned into her reptilian form while wearing them, her tail would probably rip right through them. Having to stick with skirts and dresses didn't bother her too much, though; she had gotten used to it. Once she found a nice outfit, she quickly got dressed and put on a bit of makeup. Lyndi spent some time looking at herself in the mirror. She told herself that it was because she wanted to make sure she looked decent, but she knew deep down that she was procrastinating. She didn't want to go outside in fear that something would go wrong. The people here also had powers, but she was pretty sure not many of them were used to seeing a giant reptile-human, and if she accidentally shifted, she was sure that people would stare at her. She pushed the thought out of her head, not wanting to make herself even more nervous. She turned and walked over to the door, taking a deep breath before opening it. She closed the door behind her and walked a bit farther into the arena, taking slow, small steps. 'I just need to stay calm, then everything will be fine.' She thought. 0 players like this post! Jade was up right before dawn, due to a restless sleep. It was hard finding a comfortable position to sleep in with wings. She shifted in her covers, trying to decide what she should do. She didn't want to wake up her new roommate, but she didn't want to be in bed either. Finally deciding to get up, Jade moved her covers aside and stood up as quiet as possible, tip-toeing to the bathroom. She stared at her reflection, almost snorting in disgust. Her blonde hair was nasty-looking and her feathers were ruffled. She was wearing a black skin-tight shirt and shorts, and in Jade's opinion, she looked similar to a hermit or something. She needed to go into town today to pick up some food and clothes, since she had just been transferred she didn't have much. She planned on going as soon as possible so no one would catch her at the market, but the problem with that is she had never been there before. After brushing her hair and teeth, Jade decided she was ready to go. She opened the door, cold air rushing in to greet her face. She glanced behind her to check if her roommate was still sleeping. Jade stepped outside, fluffing her feathers before jumping into the air. It wasn't to far to the market, so she hoped no one would find her there. She didn't want to ruin her reputation on her first day outside. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Audrey // 18 // Elemental Mutant // Blue House #155 I knew she was up, the wind had whispered to me. Know that you have freaky elemental powers was one thing, but speaking to them was another. Slowly i turned on my side and let out a huge yawn. "Gooooood Morning" I said as I stretch my arms out. But next thing I knew was that my room mate was already out the door. I shrugged it off and rolled out of bed and fell onto the floor. I tried to get up but I was so lazy, with a quick burst of air I got myself off the floor. I went to my dresser and pulled out my out fit for the day, a blue flannel with grey jeans and a pair of some type of white shoes. Immediately I went to the bathroom. I brushed my teeth, straightened my hair, and put some jewelry on. Since it was my third day here I have everything I needed. It was lonely the first two days but then Jade came along. Soon my stomach growled, I decided that with my extra money I'll go into town and get something to eat and then I'll find a job. How else was I suppose to live my life without food or money. So I opened the front door and hit the town. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Rebecca J. Jess H. As she stripped her sleeping outfit off her body and headed to the door of her bathroom, a thought popped up on her head. Though it was more of a realization; She hadn't spoken to any of the newcomers. Even though she worked at the marketplace, she had not actually interacted with them that much, apart from saying 'Good Morning', 'Good Afternoon', 'Goodnight' and 'Here you go, sir/miss' before handing over the now bagged foods and items. How could she have possibly been so inconsiderate! That was the least of her worries, before she looked up to a clock she had on the bathroom. She. Was. Late. Rebecca started to panic, rushing inside the shower and turning it on, though the first few seconds of water on her skin was /very/ cold, making her squeal in a high pitched tone, and just plain start shivering, but started to shower nonetheless. "Frickfrickfrickfrickfrick--" (Also thanks, Christi :3) 0 players like this post! Like? Edited on 24/05/16 @ 16:58:46 by 🍷Bird of Hermes🍷 (#68944) |

Audrey // 18 // Elemental Mutant // Blue House #155 As I walked down the stairs of the terracing I look around my surroundings. I see a Minotaur, a man who can spit acid, and some weird lady who kept twitching, I soon realized that she had super speed. I said hello to those few people that i saw and continued my way down to the town. Stores lined the terracing, and in the middle was a square with booths full of fresh food. The workers that supplied the food were very loyal people to Jenna the "witch". I dislike her, she seems... off, like she's hiding something. As I entered the square i look around for a coffee shop, or something that will supply me with food. I soon see a little shop and head inside. I order a drink of tea and some sort of a muffin. My drink was somewhat cold, so with a flick of my wrist a small flame arose from my fingertips and I hold my mug over the mall flame warming it up. With another flick the flame disappeared and I took a nice sip of my tea and let out a sigh of relief. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Lyndi // Female // Reptilian Physiology // Outfit // Location: Heading to Marketplace Mentions: Hunter [Indirectly] Lyndi hadn't gone far before coming to a stop, realizing she had no idea where to go. She had only been out of her house once, and this place seemed to be the biggest arena in the world. Of course she didn't know her way around. For a moment she considered giving up and going back to her house, but after thinking about it for a few minutes, she decided against it. She'd have to find the marketplace eventually, so she might as well do it now. She looked over to her side, spotting a man about her age heading out of one of the blue houses. He was probably headed to the marketplace for breakfast, since she couldn't think of any other reason he'd be going out in the morning, unless he was going to work. She would've asked him for directions, but her social skills weren't the best, since she had been locked up in a white cell for most of her life. So, she just followed him from a safe distance, hoping he'd lead her to the marketplace, and that he wouldn't notice her following him. That would be embarrassing. Audrey // 18 // Elemental Mutant // Blue House #155 I looked outside the window of the coffee shop. Everything seemed to be in order as it should. Mutants shuffling from here to there, going to their jobs, or getting food. It was a huge community of non-human people living regular lives together. Just the thought of that can make me float out of my seat. Oh wait! I already was doing so. As I sat back down, correctly, I made a mental checklist of all the possible jobs that I could do. There was from working as a chef to being a librarian. Weird I know, why would we have a library. But Music was one of the things that has stuck out to me these past few days I've been here. I was the only mutant to not be introduced to the community with a bunch of other newbies. Its strange, but i think my growth in my powers suddenly stopped in which they had to get me out of there. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Jade Jade glided over the plaza, surveying the amount of people that gathered there. Too many to not be spotted. Ugh Jade landed delicately outside of the market. Nerves clawed at her stomach, and her honey-and-green eyes sparked with fear. She didn't want to look hesitant, so she forced herself to step forward into the market. She walked, grimacing, because the shuffling bodies around her made her want to scream. She wanted with all of her being to fly away right there, push off the hard earth and spread her wings. Jade soon realized that she had frozen in place just inside the market. People were staring. She clenched her fist, her talon-like fingernails digging into her skin. She took a deep breath. Stay calm, Jade. People aren't that scary. she silently told herself. Maybe eating would relax her. She tensely wandered around, looking for a place to buy some food. 0 players like this post! Audrey // 18 // Elemental Mutant // Blue House #155 As I looked out the window I see Jade, my roommate. She was just standing in the middle of the market, doing nothing. Something didn't seem right. So I sprung up from my chair and left a nice tip, and immediately went to help her out. Speed walking to where she was standing, I was acting casual, trying not to bring attention to myself. As I reach her I whispered to her "Are you ok? I mean I saw you stiff as a rock over there." I soon laughed at my little joke. Yes its an elemental thing. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Rebecca J. Jess H. The short female eventually stepped out of the shower and dressed in her normally used blue dress, took what seemed to be a small backpack and rushed out of the door to her home. Slamming it closed behind herself in a rush, and forgetting to lock it as she started to make her way to the marketplace. She worked in a small store, selling music she produced herself. What type? Well, the only either of her sides could play. Violin, in Rebecca's case. And Electric Guitar, in Jessica's. Apart from the tunes, she also had a few isles of canned foods and other things such as candy. The small girl rushed towards the building, quickly opened the doors and walked in. She sighed, noticing there hadn't been anyone waiting. But went to connect a LED Light 'OPEN' sign that hung from one of the doors. Finally calm, Rebecca started to walk towards the cashier, placing the backpack in a small compartment underneath it and going to check around her store and see if everything was in order. 0 players like this post!
