So. I have a idea, in Lioden, lions die a LOT, so I think it'd be a very interesting add on, that when a lion/lioness passes away you'll receive a lion skull. It's a bit dark but I think it'd work as a perfect add on. So when your pride member passes you'll receive a message like this, Subject: Deceased price member. Your lioness/lion, _____, (insert name here) has lived her/her life to the full and is now up in the heavens! You received a lion skull! You'll receive a lion skull in your inventory, This skull is the SAME thing as a regular lion skull, basically, you can play with it, sell it, for the same price it always is, (56 sb) and all that jazz. So yes, you basically get sent a lion skull. It's a bit dark but I think it would add a small but amazing feature to the death of lions. Also whenever you play or sell the skulls, whichever you choose, you WILL NOT loose karma or gain karma. But yes, that's about it, thank you for reading! EDIT: (Others in the discussion suggested this and I thought it was great ideas and had to add it!) Also so maybe there would also be chances of other drops such as, lion rib bones, a lion tooth, (teeth maybe?) , lion tail tufts, BUT I feel like you should only get 1 item drop, per lion. So for example if your lion/lioness dies you won't get multiple items from the one lion. Just one single item. |

@BluePigeon Yeahhh that was the idea about it I have, why wait 15 years for your lions to die if you won't get anything from it. c: Soo adding this aspect would add something to waiting for your lion to die. 0 players like this post! Like? |

I really like this idea! I think it'd be a great add-on for lioden and will help other users as well. Maybe, after a cub dies you get bone(s) / skull(s) as well? Or you get lion scrotum's/balls etc,. etc,. from those older ones. That would be really nice. You got my support! ^_^ 0 players like this post! Like? |

Not lion scrotums. That is completely out of proportion to skulls and the like, and it would make them common, which would result in a giant wave of dwarves, completely demolishing their worth. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Yeah, I agree with Blue Pigeon. I would support this if it only applies for lions that haven't been stored. Think about it, why would you get a lion skull if you bury the lion? I think you should receive the skull after you discard their body. 0 players like this post! Like? |

I don't support this (sorry) because if you got it's skull, you couldn't store it's record as in the wild if you got its skull the lion would be destroyed 0 players like this post! Like? |

@lightning - this would only be for the lions who died naturally from old age (I think? At least that's what I'm getting from it) not from the ones you retire 0 players like this post! Like? |

I'd love different drops! :D Like Lion Teeth, Lion Pelt, Rib Bone, Lion Skull. I'd also suggest Lion Meat and Lion Scrotum, but that'd devalue those items, so it's better to stick to the common items like Lion Skulls! :D Great idea, love it! 0 players like this post! Like? |

Storing lions doesn't store their corpse, it stores their details/picture. In the wild lions wouldn't be storing anything so it's a bit of an odd point to make in my opinion. Just to clarify, however, would the lions that died naturally still be able to be stored? Paying 10sb to retire and then possibly paying for an extra storage slot seems a bit much. People do like to let their lions die naturally and then store them, so I don't think we should take away from those players. 0 players like this post! Like? |

@Flip I see what you mean, but this thing will not affect the storage system, the only thing it will affect is if you let your lions die naturally and not retire them, then you'll receive a lion skull. This idea kind of gives a point to letting your lions die naturally, considering you can earn something from it. 0 players like this post! Like? |

This is a really great idea... And I like the part about adding in other items you could get when that happens. So it's more like a random chance kind of thing. And this way, it would make it so that there is more incentive for players to actually keep a lion or lioness until they reach old age too. c: 0 players like this post! Like? |

Don't support. It just devalues the lion/ess to an item, and when they die of old age might I add, you take their bones? Doesn't make much sense, and I don't want my lion/ess to be devalued as a skull I can sell. If anything, there should be an item that you get after they die that values them and you can't sell it in Monkey Business. Like funeral flowers, or something. 0 players like this post! Like? |

I don't agree with it being just a lion skull because those are craftable items that are supposed to be a lucky encounter in explore. But it it was a rare drop, and more common things like rib bones, lion claws, maybe teeth or something dropped as well, I could get behind this. 0 players like this post! Like? @socks I disagree with that, after a while of playing, lionesses just becomes valueless :/ You think any of the simple cubs/lions would matter to the players with over 200 of them? 0 players like this post! Like? |
