That was the number scrawled across his slip. Blake stared down at the small piece of paper for likely far too long before leaving the small cabin he called home for the hangers. He hadn't gone to meet his dragon immediately after completing his test. He had needed time to think. It was a bit bothersome they couldn't find out their dragon's type before bringing them home. Dark eyes had scanned the walls of his tiny house as a frown swept over his features. What if the creature didn't fit? He or she would be forced to remain at the hanger if he couldn't squeeze them in there. "I suppose I'll just have to do a bit of renovating," he muttered.

As he approached the hanger he paused at the entrance, lingering outside as first a tall girl and then a much shorter boy made their way inside. Finally mustering up the nerve to push further inside he continued to run all possible scenarios through his head. What if the dragon didn't like him? What if they were hard to handle and he couldn't control them? What if they were too big? What if they were too small and couldn't even carry him on their back? What if he was unfamiliar with the type? Could new dragons he'd never heard of been discovered already? Finally he came to a stop at stall 11, gazing blankly at the tall wooden door barring his way. "I guess it's now or never..."
