Welcome to the Dark Devil's Dynasty
• Dark Dynasty, former Aspen's Home For Wayward Boys, once was a small correctional facility with a large outdoor compound, several sectioned off areas, and many doors inside the building besides the main office, basement, attic, and dorm C are boarded off. This was later renamed Dark Dynasty by the dog fighters and trainers who took over the secluded area before soon abandoning it and the dogs.

- The basement houses a former dog fighting ring filled with empty cages, a blood dried ring, and is carpeted, this is where the Scapegoat lives and acts as their den. It can become very cold in the winter but stays cold in the summer.

- Dorm C has several cells, twelve to be exact, each with carpeting, old beds, and pillows. This is where the Guards and Trackers sleep and it acts as their den. It is warm in winter but during summer it can get a little hot.

- Warden's Room is a lavishly furnished room with thick plush carpeting, large windows, a four poster bed and pillows, and finally an easily pushed open and closed door. This room belongs too the Head Dogs and acts as their den. It stays warm in the winter, and can become cool in the summer because of the windows.

- The Attic use too be a center for the younger kids and has nicer beds, and is half carpet and half tile. It has large barred windows and plush pillows. This area acts as the den for the Militia and stays warm in the winter and during summer its rather drafty and cool.

The Compound Ranks
- The Head Dogs; These are the top dogs; They run the compound with sharp claws and sharper teeth. They are some of the most assertive, capable, and well trained dogs. They control food distribution after the scent hounds bring it back, eating first, organize patrols, give out punishments, and assign trainees or banish them if they're not big or strong enough. They eat first, may leave the compound freely with the militia, pick their own trainees, and assign Militia members if one dies without a trainee. This spot may be challenged for, but it will not be easily taken.

-The Militia; Four able bodied dogs who act as guards for each of the head dogs. The have privileges given too them that no other dogs may have; Eating second after the lead dogs with the mothers, the ability too wander outside of the compound freely, and the right too pick out their own trainees. Their main objective is to protect, serve, and even care for the Head Dogs, and their puppies when or if they have any. This spot cannot be challenged for.

- The Guards; These are dogs trained too protect, fight, and defend the compound. They have basic privileges; They may ask too leave camp, they eat third alongside the trackers, and they may suggest trainees. They tends too be bigger dogs with fighting experience.

- The Trackers; These dogs have the knowledge of fighting but prefer hunting, tracking, and trailing scents. The have basic rights with one exception; they eat third with the guards, leave the camp too hunt, and each one may pull up too two trainees each, if they deem them tracker material, for inspection by the head dogs to be approved or denied. They are somewhat leaner dogs with scent hound heritage.

- The Trainees; These are dogs 6 months to 1 year that are chosen too be trained under a guard, militia, tracker, or on rare occasions the head dogs. They will pick up food scraps, make sure mothers and puppies are comfortable, supply fresh bedding too each rank, and learn about their given rank. They eat fourth, just before the Scapegoat.

- The Mothers; These are female dogs who are nursing or currently pregnant. They live in peace and luxury, cared for by the trainees and in some cases the militia, till their puppies are old enough too be put forward as trainees. They eat second with the puppies and Militia members, will be returned to their ranks after puppies turn 6 months, and may be accompanied by a guard too leave the compound.

- The Puppies; Little ones not old enough too learn a rank, they are cared for by the mothers, trainees, and in some cases the militia. They may not leave the compound. At 6 months if they are deemed too sickly, weak, or crippled they may be casted out unless a militia or mother can make a plea; a plea is almost like a deal saying the puppy will not be a burden, if the plea is broken the puppy may be killed or maimed then abandoned. They eat second with the Mothers and the Militia members.

- The Scapegoat; These are the weakest dog, they have no true rank and are often harassed or beaten up by other dogs of higher ranks. This rank is normally held by a cripple dog, sickly, or weak dog. They may not leave the compound, they may not talk back to dogs of higher ranks, the may not go near the puppies, and eat whatever is left.

Nikita is a very focused and driven individual with a penchant for violence. After being abandoned by her owner and teammates alike she learned early on the only way to survive in the wild was to be ruthless. While she was always rather headstrong that tenacity quickly transformed into savagery. Fierce and brutal, she is an unforgiving soul who would rather kill a dog than accept an apology. Her anger tends to run cold and sometimes one may not even know she is displeased with them until it’s too late. Deception is her forte and she can easily switch from nasty and monstrous to motherly and kind in the blink of an eye if it will get her what she wants. If Nikita does have any redeeming quality it would be that she is genuinely tender and merciful to pups, longing to have her own someday.

She thinks he's quite the dog to say the least, undeniably loyal to him and the goals he strives for.

Brief History
Nikita was born and bred to be a hunting dog. The leader of a small group of four, her owner often took them into the woods to hunt rabbits, squirrels and the occasional deer or wild boar. After Nikita was kicked in the chest by a doe the dogs had been sent after she was left behind to die, her owner assuming she would never recover from such a harsh blow. She had a hard time of it for awhile considering she was a pet her whole life, but eventually learned how to look after herself. Wild canines living in the forest often made a habit of tormenting her, allowing her to live solely so they could come back and harass her another day. It wasn't long before she snapped and ended up ripping out the throat of a coyote who got too close. It was the first time she'd ever killed another canine. She found she wasn't too broken up about it. Soon after she came across the facility and joined the former fighting dogs. Though a vastly different breed she proved her worth first as a tracker and than as a guard, eventually moving her way into the militia.

He is nearly entirely white save for a black ear, a large black patch across his hindquarters, and near the tip of the tail, likely his saving grace.

Personality
Diego is a level-headed dog with a calm temperament. He is a tolerant and loyal guard with a nearly endless amount of patience. Friendly toward his packmates, even those who are considered the lowest of the low, he sometimes silently questions Taze's methods, but has no drive to challenge him or actually change anything. Their pack is not exactly a kind one, but it works. His opinion may change over time. For now though he is content.

Diego began his training as a fighting dog about 8 months before the takeover. It was never anything he took pleasure in and he was initially grateful to Taze for freeing him and his mother from man's chains. Personality
Deidre is a laid back canine with a bit of a notable lazy streak. She'll sleep in for as long as she can get away with and a lot of her spare time is usually spent laying around outside or in the tracker's den. When on the job her whole demeanor changes her into a more focused and dedicated individual. She is faithful and devoted to all she comes to care for with an easy-going demeanor. A gentle giant, even though she has no interest in having any pups of her own, she often can be found hanging out with the mother dogs and entertaining their little ones so they can get some much needed rest.

Beneath the surface however is a dog not happy with the current system. Her gratitude to Taze for freeing them all has swiftly switched to horror in concern to the dog's actions. He is just as much a monster as the humans who forced them to fight, killing pups solely for being born with a white pelt. It is likely she would back anyone who sought to challenge Taze's rule of the pack so long as they were a reputable dog with good intentions and the firepower to succeed. Perhaps someday, if no one else steps up, she will take such a role herself.

Brief History
An odd choice for a fighting dog, Deidre was mostly kept at the compound for her hunting abilities. She would track down small animals for the humans that either soon after were shot and fried up for food or else used as bait for training pups. Deidre found the practice deplorable, but had no choice other than to obey. She was bred a few times to purebred dogs such as Pitbulls and Amstaffs in the hopes of producing fighting dogs with the muscle of their father and size of their mother. She was so over-bred she no longer cares to bring more lives into the world now that she has a choice. Not when she's seen the lives of her other pups destroyed, many of them dead now.

For the most part she has been a compliant packmate, doing as ordered and instructed without ever uttering so much of a compliant. She does have a habit of speaking up for other dogs, especially those the pack considers weak or useless. If their relatives will not plead on their behalf she will make a case for them and is willing to take on the burden of making certain they can contribute to the pack. The one incident that may be held against her is when a litter of white pups were born into the pack. Deidre attempted to reason with Taze and when that didn't work defended the helpless pups with her own teeth. It wasn't long before the Militia and Guards pinned her to the ground and Taze finished the job. They were not her pups, but Deidre will never forgive him.

Skittish and reserved. Luca has grown used to being viewed as weak among his packmates and despite having agility and decent hunting skills on his side he agrees with most dogs when they claim he is useless seeing as he has never been given a chance to show off any of these talents. He is quiet, frail and small, doing his best to stay out of the more aggressive dogs' ways. He is incredibly quick, able to reach up to 40 miles per hour in a full run, but seeing as he is forbidden to step foot outside he is not often given the opportunity to stretch his legs. Being denied the right to run or hunt has left him fidgety with pent up energy. He daydreams about someday being promoted to a tracker no matter how unlikely. He is eager to please and willing to go to extreme lengths to prove his worth.

Brief History
Luca was kept on the compound to be used as a bait dog. It's very likely if Taze hadn't burst into the facility when he did Luca would have met an awful, bloody death at the jaws of young dogs in training. At first he thought forming a pack meant he would finally be treated as an equal and be surrounded by canines he could consider a family. He was sadly mistaken.

Appearance
Taze was a prize for his breeder and later on his fighter. He is considered a goant for his breed; Similar to Giant George, Zeus, and Hulk. He weighs in at a massive 176 lbs and stands 29-30 inches at the shoulder. His muzzle is short and ears cropped high, he is built broad with a good deal of his weight being muscle. His eyes are a solid steel grey that can be unnerving and a little hard to stare directly at. Taze's fur is colored in 'blue' and darkly so. It has a clean sheen too it and he sports an odd bi-coloring that makes the left half of his face solid white and it makes his right hind leg and haunch solid white as well as his front toes. He is covered from head to heel in scars, the largest cuts through the right side of his face, tracing from the corner of his lip up too his ear; making a permanent sneer on that side.
Personality
Taze is, to put it softly, one cruel bastard. He has little tolerance for weak dogs and has a strong hatred for humans. He has a beasts attitude from the cruelty done too him in the ring. At the start of the pack he was a gentler dog and it is unknown what caused him too snap. He is easily swayed by superstition and his belief in darker spiritual things, becoming agitated if someone doubts them. He supposedly has a softer side, as shown whenever he's around his daughters, and refuses too teach violence around them and keeps them highly sheltered. Dogs that show cruelty, violence, or malice around his sweet little girls is certain too be on the recieving end of his savagery the moment their taken back too the Mothers' den. He was once a benevolent leader filled with kindness and assured gentleness, and many wonder where this savage, cold, cruel beast came from.

Brief History
Taze was born the runt compared too his brother Noble. He wasgoing too be abandoned in the woods but one of the lesser known fighters took him. He put the puppy through extensive training, beating him when he could train anymore for the day, feeding him only when he did 'good'. And strangely enough, Taze got big, no not big. He got massive. He was then fought, overpowering most of his opponents and maiming them. Taze was nicknamed the Savage King in the ring, even fighting after a Shepherd took part of his face and left him with his biggest scar. It took only one more fight before he finally snapped, killing two humans and chasing the rest off, freeing many dogs in the process. He ruled peacefully for another year before snapping fully, it happened a month before his puppies were born too a female American Staffordshire Terrier named Tabbi. It is speculated, no, it is known that he killed her after she threatened to end the life of his week old daughters. He came home from a walk with both girls and no mom too be seen with blood on his paws and teeth. From then on the whispers of a white dog ending his reign made him paranoid. Too the point off killing puppies born soild white or dogs in the pack that are solid white

Lazae is a delicately built female standing at 26 inches at her narrow shoulders and only weighs 78 lbs in total. Her features are slim, narrow, and gentle with a rounded look making her look softer look. Her coat is a creamy, isabella color with her points being a tan just barely darker than her coat. Her saving grace is the fact her fur is a shade darker and more cream colored then white. Her eye colors are a sharp icey blue on the left and a deep chocolate brown on the right, and sadly she has hearing and sight problems on the left side but says nothing about it. Her scars are mostly small ones around her shoulders, paws, and left side of her face.
Personality
Lazae is a sweet girl with a 'new soul' she is often excited and pays close attention when first introduced to showing new. She means well by all and will often spend a lot of time helping mother dogs or even puppies. But make no mistake, she can play as rough as some of the bigger dogs, she can hold her own, and she will fight back when threatened. She seems too have a rather large crush on the residential Dane-Blue tick mix, but wont answer if asked about it. She highly disagrees with Taze's actions, having stepped in too save solid white puppies from his teeth. She can be a little over bearing but doesnt mean it, she will take time out of her day too talk with the Scapegoat and even groom him. She despises both Head dogs and the Militia members, but says nothing outloud for fear of banishment. She doesnt feel like she fits in well and will often sneak away too a boreded up room she dug a hole into.

Brief History
The breeders of Lazae took her away from her siblings and mother at a young age, young enough that she doesn't really remember them too well. She was hand raised by humans, and was treated poorly due too not being stronger like her brothers and sisters. As she grew she gained more muscle, working hard by herself to get stronger and be seen as an asset so she wouldnt be used as a bait dog. After Taze freed tge other dogs...it was her only safety net from ending up a Scapegoat.

A primarily long-coated canine with a light cream-grey pelt that has random flecks of darker grey and red mixed into it, the most prominent marking he has is his entirely-red left hind leg. He has many scars, mostly around his face and head, that cause his long fur to jut out in random directions and give him a shaggy look. His eyes are a rich chocolate-hazel hue, the left one slowly losing color and sight due to taking too many blows to the head during his dog-fighting career.

Thuban is an outwardly charismatic and kind canine, easy to get along with and seemingly trustworthy; but beneath his smiling face and wagging tail he is a inquisitive and untrusting character, rarely ever opening up to a dog. Years from being a fighting dog have jaded him and no matter how genuine another dog seems he finds it extremely hard to trust another being. He spends most of his day learning the traits of the other dogs in the pack and has become quite the eavesdropper over the past two years of being out of the ring.

Thuban was born as a stray and due to his large size and formerly overly-trusting nature was an easy target for any dog fighter to nab off the side of the road, and that's exactly what happened to the young 1 yr. old Thuban. He spent the next few years of his life training - fighting - killing, anything to survive and be fed at night. He was grateful to Taze for breaking him out of the ring but has come to dislike the Cane Corso.

A mysterious looking female with a slender and streamlined build. Her coat is mostly a light brown, growing dark black around her face and limbs. Her eyes are an alarmingly dark brown, almost black, that blends into the black fur around her face. She has few scars due to the little time she spent as a fighting dog except for the occasional punctures around her face, throat and legs from another dog's teeth.

A candid and fiery tempered female, Polaris usually chooses to bite first and ask questions later. She doesn't take following orders well but knows when it's time to shut her mouth before it gets her into trouble. Despite her hatred for being told what to do and aggressive nature, on duty she is typically stone faced and as serious as a heart attack. She doesn't fully agree with Taze's way of leading but would rather do as he says than lose her high ranking.

Riley stands at 23 inches and weighs just over 50 lbs. She carries the standard black over tan of both the German Shepherd and Beauceron (what her father was thought to be) and has an averagely thick coat. She has a pale face coupled with a dark snout, and warm, chocolate-colored eyes. Her ears, instead of holding their shape, flop at the top of her head but stand alert when needed.
[Personality] At some point, Riley was a happy, playful pup that was curious about everything with a heart full and ready for adventure. Over time, she became quieter and less prone to acting on her moods. This dog learned quickly that humans ruled everything; and that meant her. While she never approved of the fighting, she came to find a solace in the familiarity of being placed in the ring, and learned that winning a fight meant valiant rewards on her part. However, beneath her quiet, collected demeanor, is a young pup that never had the chance to grow up, and a young dog still looking for a family and pack to love and protect.

[Brief History] Riley doesn't remember much from her puphood; just a lot of moving. Moving from home to home, from person to person, before finally ending up with the man who introduced her to the dog fights. While she never came to care for the man, she did respect him. He was only in it for business, as far as the dog could tell, and he was never particularly cruel to her. He dealt his punishments accordingly, but cared for her as much as possible in the times where she wasn't fighting for him. She was completely unprepared for such a large change when all of the dogs were left to fend for themselves, but at only a year and a half, continued to learn quickly and adapt to her new surroundings.
